Father, shield our brothers & sisters in Christ

Father God ~ all knowing Father ~ You have seen it, heard it, felt it. The spiritual attacks against Your children are becoming more frequent, fierce and daunting. I humbly bow before Your throne, inviting Your protection around all of Your children. May satan and all evil influences and forces scatter at Your sovereign presence. You have dominion over all the earth and its inhabitants, all things above and below the earth - come to our aid, dear Father and protect us from evil. Let our minds be steadfast and fixed upon You, let our steps be only in the paths You direct, let our words be reflective of Your tender mercy and grace. May the roots of our faith grow deep and wide, so that nothing can shake or move us. I pray that all evil would be stopped in its tracks by Your authority, and that it should return to where it came from null and void. If there is any weakness or opening in our faith where evil might can a foothold, please help us recognize it and block it from penetration. Protect Your children and guide our path. In Jesus' precious name and through His redeeming blood I pray. Amen.

Isaiah 43:1,2, 3,4 "…Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. WHEN TROUBLES CALL ON YOU, CALL ON GOD!

Lord, I am standing on your word as I lift up your children. Lord, as the waters rage around us, we are in your lifeboat and we see the shoreline and your loving arms. Help us to reach out and grab ahold of the safety net you have sent us. Lord, lead us away from the darkness, from the hands of the enemy. Shine in your light and cause the forces of darkness to leave at once. Lord, I ask you to touch these prayers and cause them to prosper and not return void. One of your warriors needs your touch right this minute and I ask for deliverance in the name of Jesus! You know the circumstance and the way out. Make it happen. Bless your children today. Thank you, Lord for what you are about to do. Give us peace knowing you are in control and you won't let the lifeboat sink. Thank you and praise you. Amen

I stand with you all and agree with K-J, asking the Lord to purify us, strengthen us root out any bitterness, any hindrance or worldly habits in our lives. That He would sanctify and use us for His glory. We live in such a dark time and I believe it is going to get darker. So many have chosen evil and many who have not chosen it outright are terribly weak in the faith, because they do not hunger for God. They've grown ambivalent, lazy, vegetative, wasting precious hours and days on activities that do not draw them closer to God, but in fact draw them further away. Like a boat without an anchor, asleep, drifting farther and farther into deep and dangerous waters.

Father, help us to wake up and stay awake. Impress upon us the urgency of the moment. Aware that how we spend each moment of our day matters. Every chance encounter is an opportunity to be a witness. Help us to walk in Your Spirit, to hear You and obey, to pray constantly for those we know who are struggling and even those who are asleep. Help us to not grow weary but to be strong in faith until You take us home. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Wisdom from Second Timothy Chapter 2: (emphasis mine)

You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit the same to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also. Suffer hardship with [me], as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier on service entangles himself in the affairs of [this] life; that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.

And if also a man contends in the games, he is not crowned, except he has contended lawfully. The husbandman who labors must be the first to partake of the fruits. Consider what I say; for the Lord will give you understanding in all things.

Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my good news: in which I suffer hardship to bonds, as a criminal; but the word of God is not bound. Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. Faithful is the saying: For if we died with him, we will also live with him: if we endure, we will also reign with him: if we will deny him, he also will deny us: if we are faithless, he stays faithful; for he can't deny himself.

Of these things put them in remembrance, charging [them] in the sight of God, that they are not to strive about words, to no profit, to the subverting of those who hear.

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed worker, correctly handling the word of truth. Father, I continue to pray for protection over all those present here. There is so much unrest and spiritual attack present. Help us to stand in faith, knowing that the promises of Your Word are true. May You, in Your authority and sovereignty, usher satan far away from Your children. Send he and his counterparts back to where they came from; may no weapon formed against us prosper as we stand upon Your Word. For Your protection and blessing, strength and mercy, I give thanks. May you lead, guide and direct our paths according to your will and the plans you have made for each one of us, the purpose for which we have come into this world. I ask for your hand of protection and deliverance for your children. I ask that you break all strongholds and release us from the attacks of the enemy. May you cover all with your mercy and grace.
