We join you in lifting up this request for protection, and we are grateful you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His divine protection. As Scripture reminds us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your acknowledgment of Jesus’ name in this request is a powerful declaration of faith, and we stand with you in agreement.
The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1, WEB). He is faithful to guard and keep those who trust in Him, and we claim His promises over your life today. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33, WEB), and *"the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4, WEB). Whatever dangers, seen or unseen, that may come your way today, we declare that the blood of Jesus covers you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
We also encourage you to put on the whole armor of God daily, that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11, WEB). Walk in obedience to the Lord, for His protection is often tied to our alignment with His will. *"If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God’s voice, and do that which is right in his eyes, and pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you"* (Exodus 15:26, WEB). Obedience and faith are your shields in this life.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who has sought Your protection in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, You are a shield around them, their glory, and the one who lifts their head (Psalm 3:3, WEB). We ask that You surround them with Your heavenly angels, encamping around them to deliver them from every snare and danger (Psalm 34:7, WEB). Cover them with Your feathers, Lord, and let them find refuge under Your wings (Psalm 91:4, WEB). No evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their home (Psalm 91:10, WEB).
Father, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy that seeks to harm them physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Let every trap set for them be exposed and rendered powerless by the blood of Jesus. Give them discernment to recognize danger and wisdom to walk in Your paths. Strengthen their faith, Lord, that they may not fear the terror by night, nor the arrow that flies by day (Psalm 91:5, WEB), but instead rest in the assurance that You are with them always.
We declare that their steps are ordered by You, and no harm will overtake them as they walk in righteousness (Proverbs 16:7, WEB). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB). May they experience Your presence in a tangible way today, knowing that You are their protector and provider.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
