father i pray in JESUS name to be healed and find me my soulmate amen

Your prayer for healing and for a lifelong companion has been heard and I join with you in bringing it before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.

I pray that God in His mercy will touch your body and bring healing according to His perfect will. Come before Him with a contrite and lowly heart, trusting not only in His power to heal but in His wisdom to do what is best for your soul. As you wait on Him, continue to walk in obedience to His word, for that is part of our healing and wholeness.

I also join you in praying for a godly marriage. Scripture teaches that marriage is honorable, a bond ordained by God as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and it is to be kept pure. It is not an impure state but one that calls for holiness, faithfulness and chaste love. Sex and living together belong only within that covenant. So I pray that if it is His will, the Lord will in His timing provide for you a spouse who loves Christ, who will walk with you in faith and help you preserve the holiness that comes from faith.

While you wait, ask the Lord to make you ready for that calling, to live in purity whether married or unmarried, to use your time well in prayer, in good works and in service to others, and to keep your heart at peace with all people. Use marriage with moderation and reverence when God provides it, knowing that it brings with it both great blessing and great responsibility.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I lift up this one who is asking for healing and for a companion. Have mercy and grant health as You see fit, strengthen faith, and guard the heart in lowliness and patience. If it is Your will, lead this person to a godly spouse, one with whom to live in a faithful lifelong marriage that honors You, kept pure and full of grace. Help this person to live in holiness now, to trust Your timing, and to find contentment and purpose in You each day. In Jesus name, amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so honestly and for coming in the name of Jesus. I join you in bringing both of these deep desires before the Lord, asking for His mercy and His perfect will in your life.

Scripture shows us that Jesus truly cares about our physical needs. When Matthew describes the evening at Peter's house, he says Jesus healed many who were sick and oppressed, and he connects that to the prophecy in Isaiah, surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sicknesses. That word for griefs can also mean infirmities. In that sense the suffering of Christ is broad enough to include our bodies, not only our sin. When Jesus broke the bread and said this is my body broken for you, do this in remembrance of me, He was pointing to that complete work for us, spiritual and physical.

At the same time the Bible does not teach that God wills instant physical healing in every case. Paul prayed three times for the thorn in his flesh, which he described as a messenger of Satan buffeting him, and the Lord answered that His grace was sufficient. Timothy, a close and faithful companion of Paul, continued to have frequent ailments, and Paul encouraged him to use a simple physical remedy rather than experiencing an immediate miraculous healing. This reminds us that we do not always understand why some are healed quickly, some gradually, and some not in this life. All healing is from God, whether it comes instantly or through the natural processes He created in our bodies, and it remains divine either way. The gifts of healing are also given by the Spirit as He wills. Paul asks, do all have gifts of healing, do all speak with tongues, and the expected answer is no. The body has many members and God distributes gifts differently.

For that reason we should not take a personal wish, like the one expressed to Gaius that he might prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospers, and turn it into a universal promise that guarantees health for everyone. It is a beautiful prayer, and it does show a real connection between the health of our soul and the health of our body. Proverbs says a joyful heart is like good medicine, and we now know how much our thoughts and emotions affect our physical wellbeing. To care for your soul, to walk closely with Jesus, to find peace and joy in Him, is part of caring for your whole person, body, mind and spirit.

In the same way I hear your longing for a lifelong companion. God understands that desire. He created marriage to be a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and He intends sexual intimacy and sharing a home to belong within that covenant. True love in that covenant is not merely physical attraction. One Greek word for love speaks only of physical desire, which is often self centered and seeks its own gratification and is better described as lust. That is what much of our culture celebrates. The love God calls us to in marriage is far deeper, faithful, self giving, and centered on Christ. So as we pray for a spouse, we pray not simply for someone to fulfill a feeling, but for a godly partner if it is the Lord's will, and for contentment in Him while you wait. Paul writes that godliness with contentment is great gain, and a person who has learned contentment in Christ has true riches whether married or single.

There is also a sorrow that is from God which leads to repentance and to salvation, and brings lasting change and new life in Christ. It is different from the sorrow of the world which only regrets consequences and leads to death. If there is sin or hurt that needs to be brought into the light, bring it honestly to Jesus. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. God can bring healing to memories and wounds as well as to the body.

So let me pray for you now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ who alone is our Savior, I lift this dear one to You. You see the need for healing and You know every detail of body and mind and spirit. We ask for Your healing touch according to Your will, whether quickly or gradually, and we trust Your wisdom when Your answer is to sustain with grace. Heal also any inner wounds and bring a merry and peaceful heart that rests in You. And concerning a spouse, we ask for Your clear leading. If it is Your will, provide a godly husband or wife for a Christ centered, lifelong marriage of one man and one woman, built on faithful love. If You have another path, give deep contentment and purpose in serving You. Draw this heart ever closer to Jesus, prosper the soul in Your word and Your presence, and let Your will be done. Amen.

Keep seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in Scripture, remain in fellowship with believers who will encourage you in truth, and trust that the Lord hears you when you call on Him in Jesus name.
