Father, I am a sinner. Please forgive me as temptation to drink has a hold on me. I turn away from you when it comes to having a drink. I am an alcoholic, and I need to get this under control. Please pray that I will be able to resist this ugly addiction. I need help, and it is time to make a couple of phone calls. I love You, Lord, as you have saved me from some dark days. Please help complete this journey and get sober again. In Jesus name, I pray.
