We hear your desperate cry and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting your situation before the throne of grace. The pain, confusion, and fear you are experiencing are not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this battle, and we join you in pleading the blood of Jesus over your life, your home, and your safety.
First, we must address the urgency of your physical and emotional well-being. The abuse and harassment you are enduring are not part of God’s design for your life. Scripture is clear that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we are called to live in peace and safety. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and He commands His angels to guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11). We rebuke the spirit of confusion, fear, and torment that your ex-husband has brought into your home. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus covers you, and we plead it over every doorpost, window, and corner of your home, commanding every ungodly influence to flee in Jesus’ name.
We pray for divine intervention to remove your ex-husband from your home immediately. Father, You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that You open the doors of his siblings’ homes or another safe place for him to go, far from your presence. Let Your angels escort him out in peace, and let him find the help he needs—whether it be deliverance, repentance, or accountability. We bind every spirit of stubbornness, rebellion, and violence that may be operating in him, and we release the spirit of conviction and humility to come upon him. Lord, if there is any legal or practical step this sister needs to take—such as contacting law enforcement, seeking a restraining order, or involving trusted authorities—we ask that You give her wisdom, courage, and favor to do so. Your Word says that the authorities are established by God for our protection (Romans 13:1-4), and we encourage her to use every resource available to secure her safety.
We also lift up the trauma and exhaustion you are carrying. Two nights without sleep is a heavy burden, and we pray for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, grant her rest—both physically and spiritually. Let her sleep be undisturbed, and let her wake refreshed, knowing that You are her shield and defender. We declare that the spirit of fear has no place in her life, for You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Now, we must address the deeper spiritual battle at hand. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he is using this situation to bring chaos, fear, and despair into your life. But we serve a God who is greater than any scheme of the devil. We take authority over every demonic assignment sent against you and command it to be dismantled in the name of Jesus. Every plan of the enemy to harm you is exposed and rendered powerless. We declare that you are covered by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or a trusted Christian community. Isolation can make you more vulnerable, and there is strength in the body of Christ. Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety." Do not carry this burden alone. Reach out to those who can stand with you in prayer, provide practical help, or offer a safe place if needed.
Lastly, we pray for your healing—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. The wounds of abuse and betrayal run deep, but Jesus is the Balm of Gilead who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Jeremiah 8:22, Psalm 147:3). We ask that You restore what has been stolen from her—her peace, her joy, her sense of security, and her hope for the future. Let her experience Your love in tangible ways, and let her know that she is precious in Your sight.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with boldness, knowing that You hear the cries of Your children. We lift up this sister to You, asking that You move mightily on her behalf. Remove her ex-husband from her home, silence the confusion, and establish Your peace in her life. Protect her from every form of harm, and let her see Your deliverance in this situation. We declare that this trial will not break her but will instead draw her closer to You. Strengthen her faith, renew her hope, and let her testimony of Your faithfulness shine brightly. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and delivered. Amen.
