We hear your heart and we join with you in seeking the Lord's protection, and we are thankful you have called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find safety and salvation. John 14:6 tells us Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and Acts 4:12 reminds us there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.
We lift you up together and we ask for God's covering over you during this season when darkness is celebrated. The Word tells us to have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather to reprove them, Ephesians 5:11, and that we are to abstain from every form of evil, 1 Thessalonians 5:22. Halloween as it is commonly observed glorifies death, fear, witchcraft and darkness, and the Lord warns us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 that practices such as sorcery, divination and consulting the dead are an abomination to Him. We encourage you not to participate in those things, but to walk as a child of light, for God is light, and in him is no darkness at all, 1 John 1:5, and if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin, 1 John 1:7.
We pray for your protection and peace and we rebuke any spirit of fear, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. We claim the promise that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, we will say of Yahweh, He is our refuge and our fortress, our God, in whom we trust, Psalm 91:1-2, and that Yahweh will keep you from all evil, He will keep your soul, Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward and forevermore, Psalm 121:7-8. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and we remember to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, Ephesians 6:11-12.
Father, in the name of Jesus we come before You together on behalf of this dear one and we thank You that You are our shield and our strong tower. We ask You to place Your hedge of protection around them this day and in the days ahead, to guard their heart, mind, body and home, and to let no weapon formed against them prosper. We ask You to fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and to lead them away from any fellowship with darkness, and instead to shine Your light brightly wherever they go. We submit to You, we resist the devil, and we trust that he will flee, James 4:7, and we declare that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4. Keep them in Your perfect love which casts out fear, guide their steps, and let them rest securely in Your care. We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We are joining you in prayer for protection this Halloween. Thank you for bringing this fear honestly to the Father in Jesus' name. He hears you when you call on Him, and you do not have to carry this alone.
It is understandable to feel uneasy around Halloween. There is a lot of darkness on display, and even when we know we are secure in Christ it can still feel heavy. Bringing that unease to God in simple, honest prayer is a good place to rest.
One thing that can help is to make a simple plan ahead of time for that evening so you are not having to decide in the moment. Think about where you will be, who you will be with, and what will help you feel most at peace. Being with trusted family or friends, deciding what you want to participate in and what you want to step away from, and having someone you can text or call if you feel anxious can make the night feel much steadier. We will be praying for you, and it can also help to know someone nearby is praying with you that night.
Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Cover them with Your presence this Halloween and give them clear peace. Keep them safe, calm their heart when fear rises, and help them sense You near through the evening. Lead their steps and let them rest in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Beloved of All
It is good that you have turned to the Lord with this burden, for He is the keeper of His people and He hears the cry that is offered in the name of Jesus.
The Scripture is full of that sweet word, Fear not. The Lord saith, Fear not, I am with thee. You are as a worm and no man in your own strength, yet He who piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth hath set His love upon you. Fear weakens the hands and dishonors God, for it whispers that His arm is palsied or His promise forgotten. But He is faithful to His promises and faithful to His Son. If you are in Christ, you are accepted in the Beloved, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. There is no need to shrink from Him who was wounded that you might be healed.
On this night when many make sport of darkness and death, remember that our Lord is He that liveth and was dead, and behold He is alive for evermore. He hath taken the sting from death and broken the power of darkness. You need not fear the terrors of the grave nor the works of evil, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Seek not to mingle with the works of darkness, but walk as a child of light, and overcome evil with good. Keep close to Christ, keep in the path of holiness, and shun that which glorifies sin and death.
I join my prayer with yours before the throne of grace.
O Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, the only Saviour, spread Thy hand over this Thy servant. Keep body and soul from harm and from the snare of the evil one. Put Thy fear within the heart, that it may not depart from Thee, and give perfect love which casteth out tormenting fear. Let Thy presence be felt as a guard by night and by day, and let Thy Holy Spirit lead into all truth and soberness. Preserve from endless wrath and bring to endless glory, for Christ's sake. Amen.

Beloved of All
Praying for this in Jesus Name.
Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your prayer for protection in the name of Jesus has been heard and we join with you in asking the Father to keep you.
Scripture teaches us that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Fear does not come from Him. He gives a steady and sober mind, and power to stand firm when evil seems near. So we do not need to be shaken by the darkness that many celebrate on this night.
The apostle urges us to put on the whole armor of God, so that we may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand. This armor banishes fear and shakes off indolence. It reminds us that the time is short and the victory already belongs to Christ. When He was crucified, the prison was burst, the gates of brass were broken, and the keepers of hell cowered in fear. The power that held death has been broken, and those who are in Christ are kept under His hand.
So we pray for you now. Father God, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, your Son through whom alone is salvation, that you would cover this one with your protection. Guard heart and mind and home. Let no fear take hold, but fill this heart with your power, your love, and a sound mind. Help this one to put on the whole armor of God and to stand firm, to turn away from works of darkness and to walk as a child of light. Keep this one from every snare and from every influence of the enemy, and let your peace rule within. We ask that you would make Christ's victory plain this night, and that you would keep this one in safety and in holiness, for your glory. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Remain close to the Lord in prayer and in His Word this night, avoid fellowship with darkness, and rest in the confidence that He who keeps you is far greater than any evil.
