We come before the throne of grace with this heartfelt request, lifting it up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is clear that gratitude and kindness are virtues that the Lord delights in, and we join in praying that the individual mentioned would be reminded of the kindness shown to him during his time of need. The Bible tells us, "Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good. In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate to one another; in honor preferring one another" (Romans 12:9-10 WEB). It is our prayer that this reminder would soften his heart and move him to show gratitude and kindness in return.
We also stand in agreement with the plea for the blood of Jesus to cover those who have shown ingratitude toward your daughter. Ungratefulness is a heart condition that can lead to bitterness and strife, and we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. The Word of God instructs us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB). We pray that any ungrateful hearts would be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit, and that your daughter would be surrounded by those who appreciate and honor her.
Father, we ask that you would bring to mind the memories of kindness shown to this individual, that he may be moved to reflect the same love and generosity that was extended to him. May he be a vessel of your love, showing gratitude not only in words but in actions that honor You. We also pray for your protection over your daughter, that she would be shielded from any hurt or disappointment caused by ingratitude. Fill her heart with your peace and remind her of your unfailing love.
Lord, we declare that the blood of Jesus covers every ungrateful spirit and breaks every chain of bitterness. We speak life and restoration over this situation, trusting that you will turn hearts toward you and toward one another. May your will be done, and may your name be glorified in all things.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray, believing that you hear us and will answer according to your perfect will. Amen.
