Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother or sister who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, we ask that You fully heal their broken shoulder, restoring it to perfect health. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord." We stand on this promise and believe in Your power to heal.
Father, we also bring before You the struggle with alcohol addiction. We ask for Your gentle grace to help them overcome this addiction and to never get drunk again in a sinful way. Your Word in 1 Corinthians 10:13 reminds us that "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." We pray for Your strength and guidance to find that way out.
Lord, we ask for Your protection over them, even though we acknowledge our unworthiness. Psalm 91:4 says, "He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." We trust in Your protection and care.
Finally, we pray for a heart of obedience in all things. Help us to follow Your will and walk in Your ways. In Jesus' name and by His precious blood, we pray now and forever. Amen.
