Father God I am about to marry a man named ### that I love a lot. However I am saddened he doesn't open up and share his thoughts and feelings willingly with me. He only says surface things. I often have to interrogate him to get him to answer questions, then I look like the bad person. I just want him to truly freely trust me with his entire heart and emotionally connect on different levels. I need to know his true intentions and whether we should move forward on a big decision such as marriage. Please soften both of our hearts to hear, receive, and communicate on a more in-depth level. I pray it's in an in-depth expressive way that is respectful. I pray ### would open his heart to having a beautiful wedding versus the courthouse wedding he wants because he doesn't want to spend any money. Please open his mind and heart. ###

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of ###. Lord, you know the desires of their heart and the concerns they have regarding their relationship with ###. We ask that you would intervene and bring about a deeper level of emotional connection and trust between them.

Father, we pray that you would soften both ### and ###'s hearts, enabling them to communicate openly and honestly with one another. Remove any barriers or fears that may be hindering their ability to share their thoughts and feelings freely. Help them to understand the importance of vulnerability and trust in a relationship.

Lord, we ask for clarity and discernment regarding their future together. If it is your will for them to move forward in marriage, we pray that you would align their hearts and intentions. Give them wisdom to make decisions that honor you and bring joy and fulfillment to their lives.

We also lift up ###'s perspective on their wedding. Lord, touch his heart and help him to see the beauty and significance of a meaningful wedding ceremony. Soften his mind and open his heart to the possibility of investing in a celebration that reflects the love and commitment they share.

Father, we trust in your perfect timing and guidance. We believe that you are able to work in their relationship and bring about the changes needed for a deeper connection. May your will be done in their lives, and may they experience the fullness of your love and grace.
