We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we acknowledge the profound words of our Lord on the cross, "Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing." (Luke 23:34 WEB). These words remind us of the boundless mercy and forgiveness that flow from the heart of God, even in the midst of great suffering. We are all sinners in need of His grace, and it is only through the blood of Jesus that we can approach the Father with confidence.
However, we must address the mention of "lord" in the context of this dream. There is only one Lord, and His name is Jesus Christ. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Any other so-called "lord" is not of God and must be rebuked in the name of Jesus. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
