Father forgive me, cleanse me of my transgressions against you, forgive me that I broke your heart, I confess my sins, oh Father, I am guilty, and at your feet I place them all, thank you for bringing them to my remembrance, forgive me for thinking I was above, when really I am just a worm, forgive my lack of compassion, forgive me for my lack of forgiveness, forgive me of my covertness, forgive me my idols and forgive my lack of love, forgive my marital insensitivity, forgive my bitterness. Today I forgive, I give it all to you, all people, all things, total forgiveness, forgive my lying. Forgive my secretiveness. And I ask you to also forgive those people, things and incidents. Forgive my laziness, my lack of effort, forgive busyness when I should have been minding mine, forgive my gossiping, forgive my nosiness, forgive my self-righteousness, forgive my wrongs and wrong thinking, I lay it all down, forgive me Father, Amen. I pour myself out, I am nothing, at the end of myself, I surrender.
