"A and I bind to ourselves today – God’s Power to guide us, God’s Might to uphold us, God’s Wisdom to teach us, God’s Eye to watch over us God’s Ear to hear us,
God’s Word to give us speech, God’s Hand to guide us, God’s Way to lie before us, God’s Shield to shelter us, God’s Host to secure us,
against the snares of demons, against the seductions of vices, against the lusts of nature, against LR.
Against everyone (namely LR) who meditates injury to us, whether far or near, whether few or with many.

Christ with us, Christ before us, Christ behind us, Christ within us, Christ beneath us, Christ above us, Christ at our right, Christ at our left, Christ in the heart of everyone who thinks of us, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks to us, Christ in every eye that sees us, Christ in every ear that hears us."
