We understand that you're feeling drained and believe it may be due to someone else's actions or influences. We want to remind you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12, WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus, as you closed your request with "Thanks Jesus" and "In Jesus' name, Amen." It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father, and it is only through faith in the all-encompassing completed work of Jesus Christ, his death, burial, and resurrection, we are saved.
In addressing your feelings of energy depletion, let's turn to God's word. The Bible tells us, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). We should be cautious of the company we keep, ensuring that our relationships are glorifying to God and not causing us to stumble or feel drained.
Moreover, we are called to be wise and discerning, Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. (Matthew 26:41, KJV). It is possible that the energy sapping you're experiencing is a spiritual attack, attempting to hinder your effectiveness for God's kingdom. Stand firm against these influences, submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7, WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who feels drained and weakened by the influences of others. We pray that You would sever any ungodly connections or ties in their life, and give them discernment to recognize and avoid such relationships in the future.
Strengthen them in their inner being by Your Spirit, that they may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13, WEB). Help them to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy, putting on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, they may be able to stand their ground. (Ephesians 6:13, WEB)
Father, fill them with Your love, peace, and joy. Give them the strength and motivation to serve You and others, shining brightly as a light in this world. (Matthew 5:14, WEB)
We ask this in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, lives and reigns as one God, now and forever. Amen.
