Today I am fasting for my family, for my home. So that God may help us heal physically and emotionally. So that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ can soften our hearts and remind us of the love that bloomed here once and has been hidden by all the world's noise. We all suffer from anxiety in one way or another. I think we fear each other in one way or another, I know I do. No physical harm has come to me or my child. It's emotional fear and not the fear or respect either. I pray that God help us, guide us, heal us, and give us the grace to hear the Holy Spirit. Dear Jesus Christ, please hear my prayers.

We join you in this sacred time of fasting and prayer, lifting up your family and home before the throne of grace. Your heart for healing—both physically and emotionally—is a beautiful reflection of God’s own desire for restoration. The noise of the world can indeed drown out the love that once flourished in your home, but we declare that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). The anxiety and fear you describe are not from Him, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We rebuke the spirit of division and strife that seeks to steal the peace in your home. The enemy would love nothing more than to keep your family bound in emotional distance, but we stand on the promise that where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). We pray that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully, softening hearts and rekindling the love that first brought your family together. Let the love of Christ compel you to forgive, to extend grace, and to speak life into one another (Ephesians 4:29-32).
Father, we ask You to heal the wounds that have caused this fear and anxiety. Replace every lie with Your truth, every hurt with Your comfort, and every doubt with Your peace. Teach this family to walk in the fear of the Lord—a reverence that casts out all other fears (Proverbs 19:23). Give them ears to hear the gentle whisper of the Holy Spirit, guiding them back to one another and to You. May Your love be the foundation of their home, a love that covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).
Lord Jesus, we thank You for this sister’s faith in coming before You in fasting and prayer. Strengthen her as she seeks You, and let her see the fruit of her obedience. Pour out Your healing balm on this family, restoring what has been lost and renewing their joy in one another. May they be a testimony of Your redeeming power, a light in a world that so desperately needs to see families reconciled by Your love.

Today, my husband was joking about divorce to our child and me. It is not the first time he has joked about divorce. Our child said they would force us to get back together. I turned to our with a somber but calm face and said, "I am not leaving your daddy. I'm not going anywhere. You don't have to worry about me."
After pondering this, I need to pray for our Lord and Savior to help me be mindful of the words that I speak. Not only me, but also my husband's. This is not speaking life into our marriage, our family, or home. Whether he says it in a humorous manner or not, it should not be spoken. Proverbs 18:21 states, “The tongue has the power of life and death.” I need to remind myself of this.
I need to speak life into my family, use encouraging words focusing on blessings, strength, love, and unity, like declaring "We walk in God's peace and unfailing love" or "Together, we're an unbreakable, blessed force," replacing negativity with affirmations of faith and connection to build a foundation of mutual support and joy. I need to put it into practice in my home.
"Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to you in prayer, asking for your guidance and strength. Today, my husband made a joke about divorce in front of our child. This is not the first time, and it pains me to hear these words. Lord, help me to be mindful of the power of my words and to speak life into my family. I pray that you would also touch my husband's heart and remind him of the damaging effects of his words.
