ALTHOUGH THIS HAS BEEN A TOUGH YEAR FOR MANY BUT WE WILL END IT IN VICTORY & BEGIN IT IN VICTORY. DECLARE IT IN JESUS NAME.

I'M READY

I have found that fasting forty days has a greater impact in the spiritual world. I pray we all have an encounter with God that we will never forget. I also know fasting forty days brings about greater attacks by the enemy. Attacks that have the potential of overwhelming your senses & making you feel like life as you know it is over. People suddenly become extremely hostile, even more than usual. I always have the threat of being homeless over me but during these fast - it seems unavoidable.

I also find that you begin to weep like never before & it is good to spend time trying to sense the heart of God. You should become more passionate about the lost & angrier at the tactics of the devil. A great sermon to listen to is 'The Touch of God' by David Wilkerson. Another one by the same, 'Guarding the Sheep' where he talks about this economic crises that has come & why. After my first 40 day fast I had the same thing come into my spirit.

So going on this fast is very exciting but you have to go through a time of sensory deprivation if you are used to being very social or watching a lot of tv. I have prayed & asked God to allow me to watch the superbowl on one of my fast & He did. So I am not directing anyone as what to do but God will do that. The Word says that the Holy Spirit will tell us of things to come. This is the time to really listen.
