My Lord, my friends I have been away for some time, not from You, My Lord, you and I speak every day, all day but I have missed coming on to this place of prayer this place of peace and calm where people come to lay their burdens at your feet and where one is able to see and feel the care and love others have for each other. Yes My Lord I have been able to understand the purpose of this site and others like this one, it is You who uses them to gauge the level of love and care in the world at a given time and moment. Yes My Lord many times I have come here and to other sites and there are many prayer requests and few prayer replies, other times there are many prayer requests and many prayer replies too. This Lord is the changing moods and feelings of man as we face our day to day problems and situations. Many times, we choose to forget our neighbors and concentrate on our own problems, many times we decide that we have enough problems to have to deal with other people's problems too. I have even heard people say that they need their praying time to take care of their own problems.
I stand here and ask myself " What is prayer time, how much prayer time do we have each day, how many prayers or requests can we bring to you each day???" Is there a time limit for each of us, do you hang up when our time expires ?? I talk to you all day, does this mean that you only listen for the five minutes you have assigned to me?? This is all garbage, these are all excuses we use to be selfish and greedy, yes greedy. Greed is not only related to money and not sharing money, greed is related to everything, time, love, food, shelter, even watching television. When you sit before the television set all day doing nothing just because you do not have a job, this is greedy, you are taking time from yourself, from your life, from God, WE DO NOT OWN ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD, EVEN TIME BELONGS TO GOD, YES OUR TIME BELONGS TO HIM TOO!!!! If you do not believe what I say, then do something for me, STOP TIME, YES, STOP TIME, if you are able to stop time for one single second I will believe that you own your time and that it is yours to decide what to do with it. Since I know you cannot do it, my statement stands, EVEN OUR TIME BELONGS TO GOD, if you look at it from another perspective, I cannot change what I did one second ago, I do not know what will happen one second from now, all I can decide on is THIS SECOND, THIS ACTUAL SECOND, I can sit here and pray for someone in need, I can kneel before my God and thank him for his mercy for me and my family, or I could hang out before the tv or just lie in bed waiting for time to go by. This is our right, this is our free will, do whatever we want to do or feel like doing, whether what we do is right or wrong, that is another story and another page. Anyway getting back to greed, yes many days we feel down and greedy, we do not wany to talk about God or talk to God, we believe he is not listening or he has better things to do, we complain and we recriminate Him because we did not win the lotto or we did not find a bag of money on the sidewalk etc, etc, etc.
I have been through this many times, in fact most of you know about my fast and my financial situation, I complained and I cried and I even got mad with God and with my Dear Lord Jesus Christ, many times I bitched and I screamed and I decided to punish them by not praying or by not listening or talking to them. You know what, these were the reactions of a five year old child who did not get a new toy. I am still going through a terrible financial situation, nothing has changed, I have not paid any of my debts and I barely have food on the table, thanks to one dear friend who knows who she is, and knows she has my love and my family's love and prayers for ever, she is also being blessed with great health and My Lord is showering her with many financial blessings too, THANK YOU GIRL, WE LOVE YOU!!!! Any way, now I sit here and look at things from an every day point of view, nothing has changed, the truth is that everything has changed, my children have started working, all three of them, they do not have money yet and they are not back in school yet, by they have jobs, there is a new light in their eyes, there is hope and there is a future. We are not starving and we have passed hunger but we are alive and some of us needed to loose a couple of pounds anyway. Since I cannot afford to take my diabetes medication I declared myself healed and diabetes free, guess what, MY SUGAR HAS BEEN NORMAL FOR THE PAST MONTH, Thank you Lord, You did not provide me with medicine, YOU CURED ME SO I WOULD NOT NEED MEDICINE!!! My children have all been completely healthy during this time too, not even a cold or a sniff. Thank you Jesus, I do not need money to cure disease, I have YOU as a Doctor and Healer.
My car broke down many times and I was unable to fix it, my father took it upon himself to send it to the shop´and I will get it back on Monday like it was brand new, the motor was fixed, the brakes, the gears, everything is fixed. Again My Lord you touched his heart so that I would solve another problem. The stories continue and continue, the point of this is to share with you the fact that God is mercyful and absolutely wise, it would have been easy to give me a bunch of money so I could solve every problem and walk away happy but there were lessons to be learned, there was stamina and faith to be built .
HE CHOSE THE HARD WEAY, HE ALWAYS CHOOSES THE HARD WAY, we have to understand this and accept this for there is a lesson to be learned always in His ways. Like the saying says" when there was only one set of foot prints in the sand where I was walking, they were not mine, IT WAS YOU LORD CARRYING ME, IT WAS YOU LORD BLEEDING FOR MY SINS, IT WAS YOU LORD SAYING, CESAR, I LOVE YOU, I AM HERE. BELIEVE, TRUST, ALL WILL BE WELL. It is extremely hard for us to believe and accept this, GOD IS ALWAYS WITH US, JESUS IS ALWAYS BESIDES US, Yes My Lord, I understand now, I believe now. it makes me sad though, that even after all the many miracles and all the ways you havce come forward for me, after all your support and the signs of love you have given me through the years, again my Lord, I HAD TO SEE I HAD TO TOUCH, I COULD NOT JUST BELIEVE, I HAD TO SEE AND TOUCH IT. Lord I beg for your forgiveness, I could say that I am human and I am weak, yes it is true I am both things, but at this point in time, after all the roads we have travelled together, THIS IS NOT AN EXCUSE, I HAVE NO REASON WHATSOEVER TO DOUBT YOU, EVER, EVER, EVER!!! My Lord I have not been able to come online for some time, some days I did not feel like it and others I did not have an internet access. I beg your forgiveness for this too, this is your site, it is our job, ALL OF US, to come here and ask for prayer, yes it is okay, it is not only okay it is necessary to share our pain and our sorrow with the Lord, with our friends, that is the way to find relief, hope, energy. Yes come and lay your troubles at his feet but take a few minutes, share someone else's pain, take a few minutes and pray for someone else. This way prayers multiply and the Lord's answer ripples through the water with enormous power and strength.
My friends I am on a slow path to recovery, I know the Lord is answering my prayers and is listening to me not for an assigned amount of time, JESUS PUTS DOWN WAHTEVER HE IS DOINF TO LISTEN TO ME, TO YOU, TO ALL OF US, BELIEVE THIS, IT IS TRUE!!!!! He listens to all of us, the problem is that we do not listen to him. He works in his own time and at his own speed. In exchange for his love and miracles he wants us to convert, he wanys us to love each other, to love him,to help him with his work and to help each other, this is a small price to pay for the amazing things he does for us. This is my testimony, my experience, my life, every bit of pain and suffering has been rewarded one day or another with a beautiful sun rise or a flower, with a kiss and a thank you hug from someone I did not expect to get it from. Every action has a reaction, let our reactions be always positive, look at the person besides you in the bus, in the office, in the street, look at them and wish them a good day, bless them with your care and love, you will be blessed ten fold. My friends, let us pray for each other, every time we do so, greed looses a battle, every time we do, a soul is saved, every time we do, someone who is suffering is blessed. Thank you Jesus for your love and the way you show it to me. Thank you Jesus for these people who love you like I do, Thank you Jesus in you we trust.
