Time just slips by when we are having fun. Dear Jesus today is day thirty of my fast and prayer for you and for me to get close to you. Dear Jesus if I make an inventory of these thirty days, I can say I have lost about twenty pound or so, my sugar is below 120 Thank you Jesus for this miracle for I do not have money to buy medication. Since I dont and I didnt for some time now, I declared myself cured and healed of diabetes and MY GOD YOU HAVE DONE IT FOR ME !!!! AMEN, ALELUYAH, I HAVE NOT TAKEN MY MEDS FOR THIRTY DAYS AND MY BLOOD PRESSURE AND SUGAR ARE UNDER CONTROL!!! Yes Lord time flies when we are having fun. Dear Jesus I have seen you act upon our lives every day hour after hour, we have not paid electricity or water, cable or phone but all our services are running and they have not been shut down because you are the ALLMIGHTY AND YOU ARE THE MERCIFUL AND YOU ARE THE LOVING FATHER we should all appreciate and serve. Yes my Lord it is all about fun and games, but there have been no games and there has been no real fun, Dear Jesus I have been attacked by the devil from all sides and at all times, he has found the way to hit me where I was most vulnerable but you my Lord, you have kept an eye on him, and his demons, and his attempts have been unrewarded. I am a man Lord, a simple, weak man but you My Jesus, You have given me the strength to go through thirty days of fast and prayer and meditation in which I have been able to come to you and I HAVE SEEN YOUR POWER AND YOUR MERCY towards me and my family.
My wife asked me today, when it was going to end... she said she is worried about my health and me getting sick, my body is not used to going without food for thirty days, bread and water, bread and water. I looked at her and smiled and I said, Girl, I do not know when it is going to end, only GOD KNOWS WHEN IT WILL END, HE WILL LET ME KNOW WHEN IT IS OVER AND IT IS ENOUGH !!!!!! Thank you Jesus for the determination and the will and the faith You have given me to continue on this path. DDear Jesus I come before you today and I beg you for forgiveness because during this time and the months before I doubted you and I was mad at you especially when my family suffers and when there is no food or times like today when my car finally broke down, forgive me LOrd for I doo not understand what it is you want from me, I do not understand why my family should suffer, I do not understand why we cannot find work or relief to the load we are carrying, well MY DEAR JESUS, I thank you because it is not my place to know, it is not my place to understand, it is not my place to decide. DDear Jesus I am your servant, i am your son, i depend on you, i am here to do your will lord, and only your will.I f you who are my father do not want what is best for me, who does ??? I would not hurt my children, I suffer when they suffer, I cry when they cry, I am happy when I hear them laugh, so why do I worry about small details like how long this fast will fast, this is not my problem, IT IS YOUR LORD, IT IS FOR YOU TODECIDE WHEN I WILL BE READY TO RECEIVE ALL THE BLESSINGS THAT YOU HAVE PREPARED FOR ME AND MY FAMILY.
I told my wife, Love, the work will come, the food will come, everything will come, just let me follow the path My Lord has set for me, and she asked How I knew He wanted this fast, I sat for a few minutes in silence and the answer came to me, HE WANTS ME TO FAST SO THERE IS ENOUGH FOOD FOR ALL OF YOU TO EAT she looked at me and we laughed, Yes Jesus you have shown us you have taught us to laugh under the worst of circumstances, months ago we cried together and spent ma ny sleepless night looking for answers, today My Beautiful Jesus we do not have anything YET, but we sleep like babies and wake refreshes and full of hope and faith in what the day will bring. Dear Jesus nothing cxan scare us any more because You have found the way to tell us, to teach us that if we lay our problems at your feet and close our eyes to wait for you, the answers will come and the solutions will materilaize OUT OF THIN AIR IF NECESSARY. My Lord you are amazing and the great things you have planned for each one of us are even more amazing, all we have to do is let ourselves be guided by you, all we have to do is listen to your words. I will never get tired of repeating this over and over again, I say it in almost all my prayers, in fact I think I have said in one way or another in every one of the twenty something prayers I have written called Fast and Prayer, take a few minutes, stop your clock, sit silently at home, in the office, in the park, in bed, anywhere is okay. Just sit quietly, and ask Jesus Christ Your Lord to come to you, to speak to you, to let you know that He is standing besides you and He will come and He will make his presence known and He will touch you lightly on the cheek or you will feel goose bumps on your arms and neck,He has so many ways to let us know every day that He is with us that you would be amazed, all you have to do is take a few minutes and look around you. That beautiful flower that attacts your attention in the window at the flower shop, yoou may think someone put it there for some reason, but you are wrong, The LOrd made that person put it there so you could see it and you could enjoy its beauty on the way to work. The amazing sunset you watch while waiting in traffic on your way home, it is Him telling you to bepatient, to enjy while you wait for the cars to move, the hug you receive from small arms when you get home after a tough day, it is Him saying, "You are home, rest, enjoy your family, You did good, I am proud, tomorrow is another day and I will be with you then too.
Yes My LOrd these thirty days have been amazing, every time I pray I end my prayers with the wpords " Thank you Jesus in you we trust", I have always done this but it is not until now, now that I trust you completely and absolutely when I understand therse words and their true meaning. I have caught myself castin demons out and assuring people that they are healed by the power of the Holy Spirit these were not prayers asking, begging for you to do something, no they were commandsa and they were STATEMENTS of health and well being. Dear Jesus I beg you for humbleness, I beg you to make me the smallest of your servants, Dear Jesus I beg you to send my way the toughest, hardest, ugliest jobs, Never permit My Lord the possibility that my mind and the devil start playing games on me making me believe that it is I who prays for these people or that it is I that cast demons out or declkares someone healthy and well, for it is not Lord I am nothing more than the instrument you use, I am nothing more that a body who loves you and does your bid, Dear Jesus I would be fall quiet the rocks and trees would sing your glory and praise. Dear Jesus I thank you with all my heart for using mer to bring peace and comfort for people in need of prayer, I beg you Jesus each time I pray for someone, I beg you Lord that the words that come out of my mouth and out of my fingertips be YOUR WORDS LORD, BE WORDS OF COMFORT AND LOVE FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING AND IN PAIN I want nothing more than to serve you. Thank you Jesus for these thirty days, Thank you Jesus in you we trust.
