Break the chains of poverty and corruption that may be contributing to this crisis, and let Your justice roll like a river. Raise up governments, organizations, and individuals who will act with integrity and compassion to distribute aid and create sustainable solutions.
We pray for the nations specifically mentioned—where mothers are forced to consider selling their children just to feed the rest of their family. Oh God, let this stop now! Let Your love and provision flood these lands like a mighty rain. Stir the hearts of Your people worldwide to give generously, not out of obligation, but out of love for You and for their suffering brothers and sisters. May the words of Proverbs 19:17 ring true: *"Whoever has pity on the poor lends to the Lord; he will reward him for what he has done."*
Father, we also pray for the spiritual famine that often accompanies physical hunger. Let the people in these regions encounter Your love and hope in tangible ways. Send missionaries, pastors, and believers to share the gospel, for it is in You alone that true satisfaction is found. Jesus said in John 6:35, *"I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty."* May many come to know Him as their Savior and Provider.
