Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Your prayer for salvation, healing and protection for yourself and your family is heard, and I join you in bringing it before God in the name of Jesus Christ.
We thank God that He sent His Son not to judge the world but to save the world, and that the death of Jesus is the salvation of the world for all who believe in Him. There is salvation in no other name, and we pray that you and every member of your household will know Him truly, hear His word carefully and keep it with continual remembrance. Scripture reminds us that hearing alone is not sufficient for salvation, but hearing joined to faith, endurance and a life turned toward Christ. Today is the acceptable time and the day of salvation, so we ask the Lord to draw each of you to Himself without delay, to grant repentance and faith, and to strengthen you to walk in His ways.
We also ask our merciful God to grant healing according to His wisdom and compassion, to restore what is broken and to give comfort in affliction, knowing that patient endurance in suffering also works for our comfort and salvation as we share in Christ. And we ask for His protection over you and your family at home and abroad, that He would guard you from evil, keep you in His care, and cause His grace to abound toward you.
May the Lord hear your prayer, keep you steadfast in hope, and fill your home with His peace and mercy. We pray this in the saving name of Jesus. Amen.
