Thank you for sharing this update and for letting us continue to pray with you. I am grateful to hear that he is talking and still able to move about, and that the doctors have found nothing sinister. That is an encouragement, and we thank God with you for it.
It is understandable that the conversation about resuscitation and the confusion he is experiencing has brought worry. We will pray for clarity for the doctors as they seek the cause of the confusion, whether it is infection or another reason, and for wisdom to care for him well. We pray also for his comfort and peace, and for your family as you keep watch with him. It was a beautiful act of faith and love to pray over him and to give him the wooden cross from Bethlehem. May it be a quiet reminder to him and to you of the presence and nearness of Christ, who holds him in His hands.
We also lift up the situation with the home. Waiting for the bank survey while feeling pressed by the estate agent is difficult, especially when your attention is rightly on your loved one in hospital. We pray for patience and for grace in those conversations, for favor with the bank process, and above all for the Lord's clear guidance. Your trust in Jesus's plan and in God's timing is well placed. If this is the right home, we ask the Lord to make the way plain, and if not, we ask Him to give you peace to say so and to lead you to what is right in His time.
We join you in thanking Jesus for His care, and we will keep praying that the Lord will strengthen your loved one day by day, that He will grant him more clarity and strength if it is His will to bring him home, and that He will sustain you all with His peace that passes understanding. May you continue to hear His word and rest in His promises, knowing that nothing shakes His purposes and that He is faithful in every circumstance.
