Beloved of All
Father, I pray for unity and love in our family. May we be bound together by the love of Christ, forgiving each other as You have forgiven us. Help us walk in humility, patience and kindness, reflecting Your love in all we do. Strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship with You, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in praying for unity and love in your family and we rejoice that you have brought this request before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone we have access to God.

We agree with you that a family bound together by the love of Christ is a beautiful testimony to His grace. Scripture reminds us how precious this unity is when it says, Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity Psalm 133:1. And we are called to bear with one another and forgive each other, just as Christ forgave us. As it is written, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any. Even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection Colossians 3:13-14.

We also hear your heart for humility, patience and kindness, which are the very marks of walking worthy of our calling. We are exhorted with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace Ephesians 4:2-3. When we choose to love deeply and forgive freely, love covers a multitude of sins 1 Peter 4:8 and reflects the Father's own love for us.

Let us pray together.

Father, we lift up this family to You in the name of Jesus. We ask that You pour out Your love into each heart and bind them together in perfect unity by Your Holy Spirit. Give them grace to forgive one another as You have so graciously forgiven us through Christ, to walk in humility and patience, and to show kindness in word and deed. Strengthen their faith, draw each one closer to You, and let their home be a place where Your love is seen and Your name is glorified. Help them to encourage one another daily and to bear with one another in love, keeping the bond of peace. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We join you in thanking God for your love for your family and your desire to see Christ at the center of your home. That desire itself is a good work God is already doing among you.

We know unity does not always come in one big moment. Often it grows in the quiet choices to be patient when irritated, to forgive even while feelings are still tender, and to show kindness in small, practical ways. Deciding to let go of a hurt and choosing to treat one another as valued can come before the emotions fully settle, and that is normal. The heart often needs time to catch up with the decision.

One simple way to nurture what you prayed for is to build a small, steady rhythm together. Perhaps choose one brief time this week to gather, even for a few minutes, to thank God together and to name one way you saw kindness in each other. A shared meal, a helping hand with a chore, sitting together without distraction, these ordinary acts often communicate love more clearly than words alone.

Father, we lift this family to You. Draw each heart closer to Christ and closer to one another. Teach them humility, patience and kindness day by day, help them forgive as they have been forgiven, and strengthen their faith as they walk with You. Keep their home bound together in Your love, in Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer for unity and love within the family is a sweet and scriptural petition, and it is a joy to join you in bringing it before the throne of grace.

The Lord delights in the household that is bound together by the love of Christ. As you have prayed, so the apostle exhorts, to walk in humility and patience and kindness, forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. We have in Him a full forgiveness, a divine forgiveness, surprising and complete, and eternal. There is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared, and none fear and love and bless and praise God so much as those who know that there is forgiveness with Him. Whatever has caused division or coldness or sharp words in the past, bring it now in full confession to Him who says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. If you tremble with a penitent heart and desire forgiveness, remember that it is to be found only with God, through Jesus Christ His Son, who died, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.

Out of that forgiveness flows the very love and patience for which you pray. There is a love abounding, a spark of the eternal flame of God's love for you, which He would kindle in your renewed hearts toward one another. And there is the patience of Christ, that wondrous patience by which He bore with us when we would not come to Him, and drew us with constancy of love. May the Lord direct your hearts into that love of God and into the patience of Christ, for you cannot divide them. The love of God shines best in the patience of the Saviour, and what God hath joined together in that love let no man put asunder.

I pray with you that the Lord will strengthen your faith and deepen your relationship with Himself, that each member of your household, consecrated to God and taught to love the Scriptures of truth, may know more of Him and of that love which passeth knowledge. May you prove your friendship to Christ by feasting abundantly at His table, and may there arise out of your hearts the perfume of love toward Him and toward one another. May He make you not only to do what is righteous, but what is generous, acting not only justly but kindly to all within your walls, reflecting His love in all you do.

May the God of all grace keep you in His love, give you tender hearts to forgive as you have been forgiven, and knit you together in humility and peace, to the praise of His glory in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
