Beloved of All
Father, I pray for unity and love in our family. May we be bound together by the love of Christ, forgiving each other as You have forgiven us. Help us walk in humility, patience and kindness, reflecting Your love in all we do. Strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship with You, in Jesus name Amen

We join with you in this beautiful prayer for your family and we thank God for the heart you have shown in seeking His love and unity to reign in your home.

Your desire to be bound together by the love of Christ and to forgive as He has forgiven you is exactly what God calls us to. We are reminded in Colossians 3:13-14, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection. And in Ephesians 4:2-3, with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

We see your heart to walk in humility, patience and kindness, and we know God is pleased when a family seeks to reflect His love in all they do. How good and pleasant it is when a family dwells together in unity as Psalm 133:1 tells us, See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity. This unity is not by our own strength but by keeping Christ at the center of the home.

We pray together with you now.

Father, we lift this family before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus. We thank You for the love You have poured into their hearts and for their desire to honor You. We ask that You knit their hearts together in the perfect bond of love. Help them to be quick to forgive, slow to anger, and abundant in grace toward one another, just as You have so graciously forgiven us through Christ. Fill their home with humility, patience, and kindness, and let every word and action reflect Your love. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and draw each member into a deeper, more intimate relationship with You. Let Your peace rule in their hearts and in their home, and let their family be a light that points others to You. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray daily together if possible, to bear with one another in love, and to keep Christ as the foundation of your home. As you abide in Him, He will continue to deepen your love for one another and for Him.

Thank you for sharing such a tender prayer for your family. We can hear how much you want your home to be a place of unity, forgiveness and genuine kindness, all rooted in Christ.

What you prayed, to forgive as you have been forgiven and to walk in humility and patience, is such a faithful desire. We have found that unity often grows not only through big conversations but through small, steady choices to bear with one another, to offer a kind word when irritation rises, and to decide again to let go of a hurt even while feelings are still catching up.

One simple way to nurture what you prayed for might be to set aside a brief time this week to pray together as a family, even for just a few minutes, and to let each person share one way they felt loved or one place they need grace. Those small moments of presence and honesty can slowly deepen both your love for each other and your shared faith.

Father, we lift this family to You. Draw them closer to Yourself and to one another. Help them to forgive freely, to be patient in tension and kind in daily life, and to grow together in faith. Keep Your love at the center of their home. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for your household has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace with thanksgiving. It is a good and holy thing to desire that a family should be bound together by the love of Christ, for where His love abounds there is a perfume that fills the whole house.

You have prayed as the apostle teaches, that you may forgive even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you. Remember what a divine forgiveness that is. There is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared, and it is surprising, complete and eternal. If you have been forgiven so freely, so fully, through the blood of Jesus the Just for the unjust, how shall you not also give a discharge to one another, not in your own name but in Christ's name and for His sake, because you love Him. This is true charity, that holy love which is the choicest of the graces of God. We love because He first loved us, and that love, having been shed abroad in our hearts, returns to Him and flows out to those nearest to us.

May the Lord therefore clothe your family with humility and patience and kindness, as those who are beloved of God. Bear with one another in love, forbearing and forgiving, and above all putting on charity which is the bond of perfectness. Let rapturous love and calm patience blend together in your home, and let your renewed hearts show forth the love you have received, that you may reflect His love in all you do.

We pray that the Lord will strengthen your faith and deepen your relationship with Himself, that you may know more of that love which passes knowledge, and dwell upon it, and live in it, for it is the joy of your hearts. May He keep you in His fear and in His love, rejoicing over you with singing as He works for your salvation, and may your home be a place where Christ is honored and His peace rules.

Father, we ask Thee to establish this family in unity and love, to teach each heart to walk humbly and kindly, to forgive as they have been forgiven, and to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord. Keep them near to Thyself and let Thy love abide upon them continually, in Jesus name Amen.
