Family

We join with you in praying for yourself and your family for salvation, healing, and protection, and we rejoice that you have asked in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved and have access to the Father.

We pray first for salvation for you and your household, for the promise of God is faithful, Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. Acts 16:31. We are reminded also that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. Our desire is that every member of your family would come to a personal saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, turning from sin and trusting fully in His finished work on the cross. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16.

We also lift up your need for healing, knowing that our Lord is the great physician who heals all our diseases. Psalm 103:3 says, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. We cling to the promise that by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5, and we ask the Lord to bring restoration to every body, mind, and heart in your family according to His will, for He has said, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17.

We pray for your protection, that the Lord would cover you and your loved ones under His wings. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2. We ask that He would command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11, and that the Lord would prove faithful to guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up this dear one and their entire family to You. Lord, we ask that Your saving grace would pour out upon each family member, that none would be lost but all would come to repentance and faith in Jesus. Draw each heart to Yourself and let Your Holy Spirit bring conviction, comfort, and new life. Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon any sickness, pain, or infirmity in this family, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Lay Your healing hand upon them and restore them. We ask for Your divine protection over their home, their going out and coming in, keeping them safe from all harm, danger, and the schemes of the enemy. Cover them with the blood of Jesus and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds. We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers when we pray in Jesus name, and we trust You to work all things for good for those who love You. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in faith for your family, to pray without ceasing, to speak the Word of God over your household, and to walk in obedience to Him. Keep gathering together, keep reading Scripture, and keep trusting that God is faithful to keep His promises.

Thank you for lifting your family to the Lord. We join you in asking for salvation, healing and protection, and we are grateful you brought this to us in Jesus name.

We hear how much you love your family and want each of them to know the Lord and to be kept safe and well. Those are deep, good desires and God welcomes them.

One simple way we have seen help families stay steady in prayer is to keep a short list with each person's name and the need most on your heart for them right now, and to pray through it at a consistent time. If you have a pastor or a couple of trusted believers nearby, inviting them to pray that list with you from time to time can also be a real encouragement. You do not have to carry this alone.

We are praying with you that God would draw each heart closer to Himself, bring His healing in the ways only He can, and guard your home day by day. We trust His care even as we wait to see how He will work.

Father, we lift this family to You. Draw each one to know Jesus, bring Your touch where there is hurt or illness, and cover them with Your protection. Give them peace and keep them close to You. In Jesus name, Amen.

It is a good and holy thing that you have brought your family before the throne of grace, pleading for salvation, healing and protection in the name of Jesus. Such a prayer is near to the heart of God, for He delights to hear the cry of those who seek His mercy for themselves and for their household.

Concerning salvation, hear what the Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. Salvation is not of works nor of price, but without money and without price, by Divine Grace through faith in Christ Jesus. Look unto Him and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth, for beside Him there is none else. To believe on Him is to trust Him, to leave the whole matter of your present and eternal salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence. He Himself is salvation, and there is no other. As it was with the jailer at Philippi, God often calls an individual and uses him to bring the rest of the family into the gospel net. Therefore pray on and speak to your household of Christ, that you may yet be a rejoicing family because you are a renewed family, united in Him here and hereafter.

Concerning healing, remember that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and that tree is our Lord Jesus Christ and His salvation. The least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves, His words, His touches, yea even the hem of His garment, are full of healing virtue. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon a soul with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are one, for He says, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. The healing virtue which His grace infuses will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble.

Concerning protection, the Lord who planned this great salvation is able to keep you. It was His in the planning, His in the providing, and His in the preserving. Commit yourself and your family daily to His care, for His honor is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep, and His salvation is irreversible to those who trust Him.

We join our prayers with yours now. O Lord, look in mercy upon this family. Grant unto each one faith to look unto Jesus and live. Forgive their sins and let pardon bring healing to body and soul. Spread Thy wings over them for protection, be Thou their arm every morning and their salvation in the time of trouble. Keep them in Thy grace and bring them all at last to dwell together in Thy house above, rejoicing in Thy salvation. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope we ask it, Amen.

We join you in prayer for you and your family and thank God for your desire to seek Him together.

We pray for salvation for each of you, that every member of your household would hear the word of Christ with a careful and willing heart and respond to it in faith. Scripture reminds us that God sent His Son not to judge the world but to save the world, and that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. Now is the acceptable time and now is the day of salvation, so we ask the Lord to draw each of you to Himself, to grant repentance and faith, and to keep you in continual remembrance of His word and in patient endurance through every trial, knowing that He works comfort and salvation in those who trust Him.

We also bring your need for healing before the Lord. We ask Him in His mercy to restore health where there is sickness, to give strength to the weak, and to bring wholeness of body and soul according to His good will. And we ask for His protection over you and your family, that He would guard you from harm, keep you from evil, and cover your home with His peace.

May the Lord help you to continue in prayer, in hearing His word, and in encouraging one another daily. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our hope and our salvation. Amen.

Your prayer for salvation, healing and protection for yourself and your family is heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord in the name of Jesus.

For salvation, Scripture teaches that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. With the heart we believe and with the mouth we confess unto salvation. There will be a day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, but that confession will not bring salvation then, it will only acknowledge the truth that was rejected. That is why the Bible says the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all, and now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation. We pray that today, while the door is open, you and each member of your family will put your trust in Jesus alone, for He is the only provision God has made for sin. There is no other way for sin to be atoned for. Salvation is not earned by works. It is by grace through faith, and even the faith to believe is a gift from God, so that no one can boast. We are His workmanship, His poem, made beautiful by grace. Having received that gift, we are then called to work out what God has worked in, with reverence and trembling, not working for salvation but living out the new life He has given with faithfulness and obedience.

For healing, we also pray with confidence because the same Savior who bore our sins also bore our sicknesses. Matthew applies the prophecy of Isaiah to Jesus, that He took our infirmities and carried our diseases, and when Jesus broke the bread He said this is My body broken for you. We believe God still heals today, and He heals in many ways. Sometimes instantly with a word or a touch, sometimes gradually, sometimes through the natural processes of healing He Himself placed in our bodies, which are no less divine because He created them. Yet we also recognize that healing does not come in every case as we might wish, for reasons we do not fully understand. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and the Lord chose not to remove it. To presume that God must heal in every instance is not scriptural. What we do know is that God is able, He is compassionate, and whether the healing is immediate or gradual, physical or inward, we can trust His wisdom and love. Above all, the greatest miracle is the salvation of the soul, the forgiveness of sins, which is of far greater value than any physical healing.

For protection and for your family, we ask the Lord to be your guard and guide, to give you wisdom in every decision and to let His love prevail in your home. When one in a family comes to Christ and others have not yet believed, there can be distance or even rejection, for Jesus Himself knew what it was to not be believed by His own household. Yet there is a bond in the family of God that is deeper than blood, and we pray that your natural family will also become your spiritual family, united in Christ, experiencing His presence and fellowship together. May He help you to respond to adversity with kindness and to walk in His peace.

We pray now for you: Father, we thank You for Your grace that brings salvation. We ask that You draw each member of this family to Jesus, that they would confess Him as Lord and believe that You raised Him from the dead, and receive eternal life today. Lay Your healing hand upon those who are sick or hurting, according to Your will, whether by Your instant touch or by Your gradual and providential care, and bring wholeness of body, mind and spirit. Surround this family with Your protection, keep them from harm, guide their steps, and build Your love and unity among them. All this we ask in the saving name of Jesus, our Lord and our salvation. Amen.
