We join you in prayer for you and your family and thank you for bringing this request before the Lord.

We pray that God in His mercy will draw each member of your family to salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. May He open hearts to hear His word carefully and to keep it continually, and grant repentance and faith to all who have not yet believed. Scripture reminds us that now is the acceptable time and now is the day of salvation, so we ask that today each one would turn to Christ and trust Him fully.

We also pray for healing according to His will. We ask the Lord, who is compassionate and mighty to save, to bring restoration to body and soul, to give wisdom to those who care for you, and to grant patience and fortitude as you wait upon Him.

We pray for His protection over you and your household. May He guard you from evil, keep you in His peace, and cause you to abide under the shadow of His wings. May He strengthen you to walk in holiness and to grow in love for Him and for one another, bearing with one another and encouraging one another in the faith.

We will continue to remember you and your family before the throne of grace, asking that God will be glorified in your lives and that you will know His comfort and salvation more deeply each day. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Your prayer for salvation, healing and protection for yourself and your family is precious, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord.

We pray first for salvation, because that is the greatest need and the greatest miracle. The name Jesus means the Lord is salvation, for He came to save His people from their sins. God has made only one provision for sin, and that is Jesus Christ. Scripture says if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, for with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. There will be a day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, but that confession will not be unto salvation then, it will be the acknowledgment of those who rejected Him. Now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation, and this great salvation is open to whosoever will come. It is not something we can earn. God placed salvation outside our own ability and made it rest entirely on His grace and His work through Jesus, and even the faith to believe is His gift, so that no one can boast. We are His workmanship, His poem, made beautiful by grace. Having received that grace, we are then called to work out what God has worked in, with reverence and humility, not working for our salvation as if we could earn it, but living out with diligence the life He has already given us, for it is God who works in us both to will and to do His good pleasure.

We also bring your need for healing before Him. The prophet Isaiah spoke of the Messiah bearing our sicknesses and pains, and Matthew shows us that this includes physical healing as well as the healing of sin, so that when Jesus healed the leper, the servant, Peter's mother in law and multitudes who were brought to Him, He was fulfilling that promise. When He gave the bread and said this is My body broken for you, He was pointing to that provision. At the same time Scripture is honest that we do not always understand His ways in healing. Paul prayed three times for the thorn in his flesh and God did not remove it, and Jesus Himself healed in different ways, sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with only a word. There is much about healing we do not fully understand, and to presume that God wills instant healing in every case is not scriptural. Yet we do believe in healing, and we believe every true healing, whether sudden or gradual through the natural processes God Himself created, is from Him. Above all we remember that while healing of the body is a mercy we can seek, the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life is the greater healing, and nothing is more important than that.

We pray also for your protection and for your household. The Lord who saves and heals is also the One who keeps and builds His people into a dwelling place for Himself. He knows how to guide you, give you wisdom, and let His love prevail in every situation, helping you to respond even to adversity with kindness. If some in your family do not yet know Him, you may feel the pain of that distance, for Jesus Himself knew rejection within His own family, and Scripture shows that the bond we have in the family of God can be deeper than blood ties when loved ones are not yet converted. But that is also our hope, that God desires to bring many sons and daughters into glory through Jesus, the captain of our salvation, and to make you all heirs together in His kingdom.

So we pray with you: Father, in the name of Jesus we ask for Your saving grace upon this dear one and upon each member of this family. Draw each heart to confess Jesus as Lord and to believe that You raised Him from the dead. Let today be the day they receive Your great salvation. We ask for Your healing touch according to Your will, whether instantly or gradually, and for comfort and strength where healing tarries. We ask for Your protection, Your presence, and Your power to keep this family, to build them up in Christ, and to make their home a place where Your Spirit dwells. Keep them from the enemy, supply what they need, and knit them together in Your love. In Jesus name, Amen.
