Beloved of All
It is a wonderful thing when you cry out to Jesus for salvation, healing, and protection. He hears those who call on His name, and there is no request more central to the heart of God than the salvation of a family. Nothing we face in this life, no sickness or threat, outweighs the eternal necessity of being made right with God through His Son. That is the great salvation, the miracle that outshines every other work of power.
Salvation is found in a person. The Scriptures tell us that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. It is not a matter of striving to earn favor, but of receiving the grace that brings salvation and bowing to His rightful reign over your life. That same grace that saves also teaches our hearts to hold fast to Him with a holy reverence, working out what He has worked in, not in fear of losing our standing, but in awe of the One who gave Himself for us.
The very name Jesus means “the Lord is salvation.” Every act of healing He performed, every demon He cast out, was a sign that He is the Savior who delivers both body and soul. Yet the physical healings we long for do not always come in the way or the timing we desire. Sometimes He touches and restores instantly; other times He allows a gradual process, or works a deeper healing in the mind and emotions while outward conditions remain. We may not fully understand why one person is healed and another is not, but we know this: the forgiveness of sin is His greatest miracle. To have your name written in heaven is a gift that transforms all of life, and for that reason, the offer of salvation should never be put off. Today is the day to respond to Him with your whole heart.
Keep bringing your need for healing and protection before the Lord in bold, persistent prayer. Jesus showed over and over that He is moved with compassion and has authority over every sickness and spiritual enemy. He also calls us to hold loosely to the timing and methods He uses. Whether He heals suddenly or over time, whether He guards you from trouble or carries you through it, your security is in Him. Trust that He knows how to shepherd your family through every trial.
As you pray for your household, remember that the family of God runs deeper than blood. When some of our natural relatives do not yet share our faith, it can create a painful distance, but in Christ you are being brought into a new family where the bonds are eternal. That does not mean you stop pleading for your loved ones; it means you cling to the promise that He desires to bring many sons and daughters to glory through the Captain of their salvation. Persist in love, respond with kindness when things are hard, and let your life be a testimony of the grace that has appeared to all.
May He give you wisdom in every situation, guard your heart in Christ Jesus, and bring your whole household into the full experience of His salvation. He will guide you, and His love will prevail. Keep your eyes fixed on the One who alone is our hope, our healer, and our protector.
