Family

We hear your heartfelt cry for salvation, healing, and protection over yourself and your family, and we join with you in lifting these precious needs before the throne of grace. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are saved, healed, and shielded from the schemes of the enemy. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you or any in your family have not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so today, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for this dear family. Lord, we ask that You would draw each one to Yourself, softening hearts that may be hardened and opening eyes that may be blind to the truth of the Gospel. We pray for salvation to come to every member of this household, that they would turn from sin and embrace the free gift of eternal life through faith in Your Son. We rebuke the spirit of unbelief and deception that may be keeping them in bondage, and we declare that the light of Christ will shine brightly in their lives. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

We also lift up the need for healing, physical, emotional, and spiritual. Lord, Your Word declares that by the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over this family. Where there is sickness, pain, or brokenness, we ask for Your healing touch to restore and renew. We speak life and wholeness over every cell, every organ, and every part of their bodies. For emotional wounds, we ask that You bring comfort, peace, and the balm of Gilead to soothe their hearts. Spiritually, we pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit, that they would be filled with Your presence and power.

For protection, we stand on Your promise that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every plan of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy, and we declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. Lord, surround them with Your angels, that no harm or evil would come near their dwelling. Guard their minds from fear, anxiety, and deception, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, rule in their hearts (Philippians 4:7).

We also encourage this family to walk in obedience to Your Word, for Your commands are not burdensome, but they bring life and protection (1 John 5:3). Let them be rooted and grounded in love, growing in their relationship with You through prayer, reading the Scriptures, and fellowship with other believers. May they be a light in their community, reflecting the love and truth of Christ to those around them.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect will for this family. Strengthen them, equip them, and use them for Your glory. May they experience Your salvation, healing, and protection in every area of their lives, and may they walk in the fullness of the destiny You have prepared for them. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re grateful you reached out, and we’re standing with you as you bring your whole family before the Lord. It’s no small thing to carry these longings, for salvation, healing, and protection, and we want you to know you’re not alone in this.

Sometimes the waiting can feel heavy, especially when you’re praying for people you love deeply. One thing that has helped others in similar seasons is to share the burden with a few trusted believers in a small group or prayer partnership. When the early church faced hardship, they leaned on one another, and the presence of others became a lifeline. Even just knowing someone else is praying alongside you can keep discouragement from taking root. If there’s a group at your church or a couple of friends you trust, consider inviting them to pray with you regularly for your family. You don’t have to carry this by yourself.

We also want to gently remind you that God’s heart for your family is even bigger than yours. He is the one who brings salvation, mends what is broken, and is a shield around those who seek Him. You are planting seeds of faith every time you pray, and we believe He is at work in ways you may not yet see.

Lord, we lift up this dear brother or sister and their family to You now. Draw each one to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Bring healing where there is pain or division, and set a hedge of protection around them from all harm. Strengthen this one who is praying, and fill them with steady hope and peace as they trust You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

O, how simple is that way of salvation! and O, how instantaneous! “Look! look! look!” This is the simple method of salvation. The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, whom God has laid in Zion for a foundation. What is believing on Him? It is trusting in Him. I have most plainly set before you the way of salvation. What more can I do? I can bring the horse to water but I cannot make him drink!

Neglect not this great salvation but may the grace of God work with thee to make thee seek, for thou shalt find, to make thee knock, for the door shall be opened, to make thee ask, for he that asketh shall receive! See Jesus and you have seen salvation! And the only salvation! God takes care of the little things, the trifles, of Believers, and here, of our Lord, it is said, “The leaves are for the healing of the nations.” That is to say, even His common things, His lower blessings of Divine Grace are full of virtue! There is, then, an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before. Yonder in Heaven, those faces which look so bright and comely, fresher than new born babes, owe their freshness to these healing leaves!

He calls an individual, and then uses him to be a sort of spiritual decoy to bring the rest of the family into the gospel net. They were a rejoicing family because they were a renewed family. By the bliss of a united family, I beseech you seek after it that you may have that united family in heaven. For this is the last question, “Will my family be there?” Will yours be there?

The dry tree by divine grace shall flourish; the green tree, deserted by the dew of heaven, shall dry up. The low tree, fostered by the husbandman, shall mount even to the stars; the high tree, cut down by the axe of judgment, shall lay outstretched along the plains of ruin for ever. O that the divine Spirit may bring home to each one of your minds the unspeakable importance of “your own salvation”! Are any of you seeking salvation at this moment? I pray you do not think of inventing a savior of your own, but are willing to take God’s salvation! And when you ask what and who that salvation is, our only answer must be, Christ is the salvation of God!

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray for the salvation of your family, and rightly so, but let no one think that the hearing of the word or the mere utterance of a prayer suffices for this great gift. For what did the Lord declare? He set forth the seed on good ground as the one who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit. Yet he warned of the thorns, the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, which choke the word.

Be not therefore content merely to speak the name of Jesus, but consider if the soil of your own heart and the hearts of your household is being cleared of those thorns. For no one part is sufficient for our salvation, but there is required first a careful hearing, a continual recollection, then fortitude, then contempt of riches, and deliverance from all worldly things. If you pray for salvation, understand that this is the acceptable time, behold, now is the day of salvation. Do not put it off.

The many are not so much attracted when a sublime thing is said concerning God, as when an act of graciousness pertaining to their salvation is spoken of. He sent His Son not to judge the world, but to save the world. Why then do you delay? If it is possible to wash away the charges that lie against us, here is One who will deliver us.

But know this also, that the things which tend to salvation are often hidden from those who perish. Be not troubled if the world scoffs; it is a mark of them that perish not to recognize the things which lead to salvation. Yet you must weep for any in your family who know not the common salvation, loving them enough not to affirm their slumber but to draw them over unto salvation. And as you seek healing and protection, remember that your very affliction, if borne with patience, can work for your comfort and salvation, for as you are partakers of the sufferings, so also you are of the comfort.

Hope for them is steadfast when it is anchored not in the ease of the flesh but in the patient endurance of whatever the Father wills.

There is no greater cry you can bring before the throne of grace than the longing for salvation, healing, and protection for yourself and your family. The Scriptures assure us that God has made a way for all three, yet they are anchored in one supreme gift: the salvation found in Jesus Christ alone. Before anything else, I want to encourage you to rest in this truth, salvation is not a reward for our efforts but a gift of grace, received by faith when we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead. That confession brings eternal life, and nothing can snatch you from His hand once you belong to Him.

Your request for healing is also precious to God. We see in the Gospels that Jesus healed many, sometimes with a word, sometimes with a touch, and even one gradual healing that unfolded in stages. This reminds us that healing can come in many forms, instantly, over time, through the natural processes God designed for our bodies, or even the healing of memories and emotions. While we might not always understand why some are healed and others must wait, we can be certain that the greatest miracle God ever works in any life is the forgiveness of sins. Physical restoration is wonderful, but eternal salvation is the foundation on which everything else stands.

As for protection, God’s care for His own is a recurring promise throughout Scripture. He knows the dangers you face, and He will be your refuge. At the same time, remember that your deepest family bond is found among those who are also in Christ. If some among your blood relatives have not yet come to faith, do not be discouraged. Jesus Himself knew rejection from His own family. Yet He also promised that those who do the will of the Father become part of a household whose ties are even stronger than natural kinship. Continue to pray for them, live out your faith with kindness, and trust the Holy Spirit to draw them.

Finally, let me gently urge you: do not neglect this great salvation. Today is the day of salvation. If there is any hesitation in your heart, or if you know someone in your family who has been putting off responding to God’s call, the time to act is now. Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, not by trying to earn what Christ has already purchased, but by taking seriously the life of obedience and dependence that proves the reality of your faith. The same Jesus who began this good work in you will be faithful to complete it. He is the captain of our salvation, and He is leading many sons and daughters to glory.
