Family

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious family to our Heavenly Father. It is clear that your plea is rooted in faith, invoking the powerful name of Jesus, and we join with you in earnest prayer, knowing that salvation, healing, and protection are found in Him alone.

First and foremost, we must address the foundation of all our petitions, salvation through Jesus Christ. The Bible declares, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). There is no greater gift than the salvation offered through the blood of Jesus, and we pray that every member of this family would come to know Him as Lord and Savior. If there are those among you who have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we urge you to do so without delay. Confess your sins, repent, and receive the free gift of eternal life. "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most critical step in experiencing the fullness of God’s promises for your family.

We also lift up the need for healing, both physically and spiritually. The Lord is our Great Physician, and He invites us to come to Him with our infirmities. "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord" (James 5:13-14). We pray that every sickness, disease, and affliction in this family would be touched by the healing hand of God. Whether it is physical pain, emotional wounds, or spiritual brokenness, we ask that the Lord would restore wholeness and bring comfort to every heart. Remember, "He himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases" (Matthew 8:17), and His healing power is available to all who believe.

Protection is another vital aspect of your request, and we stand in agreement for the Lord’s covering over this family. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every scheme of the devil aimed at this family and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for a hedge of protection around each member, guarding your minds, bodies, and spirits from harm. "The Lord will deliver me from every evil work and will preserve me for his heavenly kingdom" (2 Timothy 4:18). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Let us also address the importance of unity and godly living within the family. The Bible instructs us, "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). We pray that this family would be built on the solid rock of Christ, with each member committed to walking in obedience to His Word. If there are any areas of sin, division, or ungodly influences, we ask that the Holy Spirit would convict and bring repentance. "How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1). May this family be a testimony of God’s love and grace, reflecting His glory to the world around you.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this family to Your throne of grace. We thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ, and we pray that every member of this family would come to know Him as Lord and Savior. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to be upon them, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Restore what has been broken, mend what has been torn, and bring wholeness to every area of their lives.

Father, we also pray for Your divine protection over this family. Shield them from the attacks of the enemy and surround them with Your angels. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and we rebuke every scheme of the devil aimed at bringing harm or division.

Lord, we ask that You would build this family on the foundation of Your Word. Help them to walk in unity, love, and obedience to You. Convict them of any sin or ungodly influences, and lead them into repentance and restoration. May this family be a light in their community, reflecting Your love and grace to all who know them.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in faith, trusting that God hears your prayers and is at work in your family. Continue to seek Him through His Word and in prayer, and do not grow weary in doing good. "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up" (Galatians 6:9). May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you and give you peace.

Thank you for letting us share in these prayers. It’s a beautiful thing when a person carries their whole family before the Lord, not just their own needs, but the salvation, healing, and protection of those they love most. That kind of love is something God Himself plants in us, and we’re glad to stand with you as you lift them up.

When we ask for something as big as the salvation and healing of our family, it can feel weighty almost in the same breath. We’ve found that one of the most steadying things in times like this is simply knowing we aren’t praying alone. So we’d encourage you to let a trusted friend or two know what you’re asking God to do, and ask them to join you, even just to say the words aloud with you. And if you’re able, perhaps gather your family for a short, quiet moment of prayer together. It doesn’t have to be polished or long; just a simple time of asking God to be near can plant seeds of peace in a home.

We are joining you now in that same hope.

Father, we bring this family before You. Draw each heart to Yourself, bring Your healing where it’s needed, and guard them under the safety of Your care. Give them courage and a deep, quiet confidence that You hear them. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Your prayer rises to the God of all grace, and it pleases Him to hear you plead the name of Jesus for salvation, healing, and protection upon your family. The Scripture is clear: “Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.” Salvation is not a wage to be earned nor a prize to be won by effort, it is the free gift of God, without money and without price. It is looking unto Christ, and Christ alone, for He Himself is salvation. Trust in Him, and you shall find that His honor is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep.

Healing, too, flows from this same blessed Tree of Life. The leaves of that tree are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Jesus is full of healing virtue. Whether for body or soul, cast yourself upon the Great Physician. There is a balm in Gilead, and there is abundant healing power in His Person. He changes the very lifeblood, makes the nature other than it was, and brings refreshment to the weary.

And do not let your heart be troubled for your household. The promise stands: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” The common salvation reaches to families. The jailer at Philippi, a man unlikely and hard, saw his whole household baptized and rejoicing. The little ones, too, are not beyond His tender care. Jesus did not rebuke the children’s hosannas but welcomed them. So continue in prayer, burdened yet believing, for He who gave you a concern for your family is able to bring them all into the fold.

This salvation is God’s own work, devised in infinite wisdom, purchased with precious blood, applied by the Spirit. It delivers from the power of sin now and from its penalty forever. It is common to all believers, yet it is your own when you receive it by faith. Rejoice in it, for it is secure beyond hazard. Look to Him, then, with a simple, instant faith. Salvation is near you. The word is nigh thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart. Only trust, and you shall see His saving health, His healing touch, and His protecting hand upon you and your house.
