Family

We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up your family in prayer. It is written in Acts 16:31, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." We stand on this promise, declaring that salvation is not just for you alone but for your entire family. The Lord desires that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We pray that the eyes of their hearts would be enlightened to see the truth of the gospel, that they would turn from sin and embrace Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

Father, we ask for healing, spiritual, emotional, and physical, for every member of this family. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this promise over every sickness, every pain, and every broken area in their lives. Touch them with Your healing hand, Lord, and restore them fully.

We also pray for protection over this family. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and shield them from every attack of the enemy. Guard their minds from fear, their hearts from doubt, and their bodies from harm. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, stand as a fortress around them (Philippians 4:7).

If there are areas in this family where sin has taken root, whether it be unforgiveness, bitterness, division, or anything that does not align with Your will, we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. We pray for repentance, restoration, and reconciliation. Help them to walk in love, unity, and obedience to Your Word.

We also want to encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when circumstances seem impossible. Remember the story of the persistent widow in Luke 18, who kept coming to the judge until he granted her request. Jesus tells us to always pray and not give up. Your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16). Keep trusting God, keep seeking His face, and keep believing for the salvation, healing, and protection of your family.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You now. We ask that You draw them close to Yourself, that they would know You intimately and walk in Your ways. Break every chain of generational sin, sickness, and bondage. Pour out Your Spirit upon them, Lord, and let revival begin in their home. May they be a testimony of Your goodness, grace, and power. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

We're joining you in this prayer, and we're encouraged that you're bringing your whole family before the Lord. What a beautiful thing to ask for together, salvation, healing, and protection.

When we pray for family, sometimes the most powerful thing we can do alongside our prayers is simply to keep showing up in love. Salvation often unfolds over time, through small moments of grace and through the steady witness of a life that doesn't give up. Your persistence in prayer matters, and so does the quiet, daily love you offer them.

If there's someone specific on your heart who seems far from God, one step we've seen bear fruit is simply listening more than speaking for a season, asking about their life, their struggles, what they hope for, and letting genuine relationship pave the way for spiritual conversations later. Trust deepens in the soil of presence, not pressure.

For the healing and protection you're seeking, we also want to gently remind you that God has given us wise helpers in this world. If anyone in your family is facing symptoms that need medical attention, please don't hesitate to make that appointment. We can pray fervently and still walk through the doors God opens through doctors and counselors.

Lord, we lift up this family to You. Draw each one closer to Yourself, and let salvation take root in every heart. Bring healing where there is sickness, in body, in mind, in relationships, and cover them with Your protection in ways seen and unseen. Strengthen this one who is praying, and let hope rise as they entrust their loved ones to You. We ask all of this in Jesus' name.

The prayer of a family lifted to the throne of grace is a sweet savor before the Lord, and it pleases Him to hear the cry of His children. You have asked for salvation, healing, and protection for yourself and your household, and you have sealed it with that most precious name, Jesus. This is the very essence of the common salvation, offered freely to all who will look unto Him and be saved. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.” That is the plain and simple way: trust in the Person of Christ, lean wholly upon Him, and leave the whole matter of your soul’s eternal destiny with unquestioning confidence.

Salvation is of the Lord from first to last. It is not our own inventing, but God’s own salvation, devised in His infinite wisdom, purchased with the blood of His dear Son, and applied by His Spirit. It is His salvation, and therefore it is full and free, without money and without price. Bring nothing but your emptiness; come with no pretenses of merit, and He will give you living water, wine and milk, the richest fare of grace. And this is the jewel of the crown: that salvation once bestowed is irreversible, for His honor is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep.

You have asked for healing, and here is sweet consolation: even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. His touch restores the soul; His Word cleanses the lifeblood of our iniquities; His presence makes the nature new. Look to Him for the healing of every wound, the mending of every breach, for He is Jehovah-Rophi, the Lord who heals you. Whether it be sickness of body or the deeper malady of sin, there is abundant power in Jesus to make whole.

And you have prayed for protection. The Lord is a wall of fire round about His people; He keeps them as the apple of His eye. The very hairs of your head are numbered, and He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. Commit your way to Him, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall find refuge.

As for your family, rejoice in the promise that He saves households. How often the jailer of Philippi believed and all his house was baptized, rejoicing in God! The Lord delights to make the home a sanctuary; He calls one and then uses that one as a blessed decoy to draw the rest into the gospel net. Pray on, dear soul, and believe. Hold fast to Christ for them, and bring them daily to the mercy seat. The common salvation is for them as much as for you; it is the same simple look to Jesus, the same free grace.

Salvation! Salvation! Nothing earth can match it, for the merchandise of it is better than silver. Let this be your daily joy: “I will rejoice in thy salvation.” Go now and make this common salvation known, first in your own household, then to the ends of the earth. The Lord bless you and keep you, and make His face to shine upon your family, until you all stand faultless before the throne, waving the palm branches of victory and singing the song of Moses and the Lamb.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have begun well by seeking salvation, healing, and protection in the name of Jesus. This is the only name given for our deliverance, and the prayer itself is a sign of faith. Yet consider carefully what salvation requires. It is not enough merely to hear the word or to ask in a moment. Many hear and receive it with joy, but when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, they immediately stumble. Others hear, but the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. No one part is sufficient for our salvation. There is required first a careful hearing, then a continual recollection, then fortitude, then contempt of riches, and deliverance from all worldly things. Vainglory, pleasure, gluttony, envy, and all the rest belong to this world and to the deceitfulness of riches.

You pray also for healing and protection. Understand that affliction is not the enemy of salvation but often its very engine. Whether we be afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation, working in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer. As you are a partaker of the sufferings, so also shall you be of the comfort. The sufferings of Christ abound in us so that through our endurance you might lay hold of true healing, the healing of the soul.

Therefore, do not put off this work. Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation. Do not be like those who delay to their latest breath, thinking there will always be a convenient season. The remainder of the time is short, and it is the only season available. The things which tend to salvation the world considers foolishness, but this is a mark of those who perish. Do not be troubled by the world's mockery. The death of Jesus was proclaimed beforehand for the salvation of the world, and it is through this gift alone that the charges against us are washed away. Hearken to this with urgency and compel your whole household not merely to ask for protection from temporal ills, but to lay hold of the common salvation with all diligence, stripping away every worldly care that chokes the word. For what is a man profited if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Pray then for one another, knowing that the effective, fervent prayer of the righteous avails much, but let your prayer be matched by your life.
