We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up your family in prayer. There is no greater joy than to see loved ones come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). We rejoice that you have invoked His holy name, for "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Christ’s finished work on the cross that we are reconciled to God, and we pray that every member of your family would surrender their hearts to Him.
Father God, we ask that You draw each one of them to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness. Soften hardened hearts, open blind eyes, and unstop deaf ears so they may hear the gospel and respond in repentance and faith. May they come to know the depth of Your love, demonstrated through Christ’s sacrifice (Romans 5:8), and experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke the spirit of unbelief and deception that blinds them to the truth, and we declare that the light of Christ will shine brightly in their lives.
We also stand in the gap for healing, spiritual, emotional, and physical. You are the Great Physician, and Your Word declares that by Jesus’ stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for restoration in every area of brokenness, whether it be relationships fractured by sin, bodies afflicted by illness, or minds tormented by anxiety or despair. Pour out Your healing balm, Lord, and let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
For protection, we plead the blood of Jesus over your family. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and shield them from every scheme of the devil. Guard their steps, their thoughts, and their hearts, that they may walk in Your ways and not be led astray.
We also lift up your own walk with the Lord. May you be strengthened in faith, rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:17), and equipped to be a light in your family. Let your life be a testimony of God’s grace, patience, and mercy, so that others may see Christ in you and be drawn to Him. Remember, "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven" (Matthew 5:16).

May Your will be done in each of their lives, and may they come to know You not just as Savior, but as Lord of all. The cry of a soul for its household is music in the ears of our gracious God. You plead for salvation, healing, and protection, and He who inclined your heart to pray will surely answer in His own time and way. Concerning salvation, that is the chief necessity, for he that possesses it hath all things. What is this salvation? It is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart. Look unto Him and be ye saved, for the Scripture saith, “Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.” This salvation is without money and without price; bring nothing of thine own, for it is the gift of God. It is a common salvation, offered to the blackest of sinners, and it is enough for thy whole household. Remember the jailer, who, hearing the word, believed, and was baptised, he and all his, straightway. O, that the Lord would make thee a spiritual decoy to bring thy family into the gospel net! Bring thy little ones, too, for Christ’s arms are wide enough for the lambs. Only trust Him; there is no other way.
As for healing, there is a plant of renown, even the Tree of Life, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. If thou art sick in body or soul, apply to Him. His touch can purge the very lifeblood from its malady and make the spirits whole. Come to the great Physician; He healeth all manner of diseases, and though the world’s medicines fail, His leaf never withereth. Yonder in heaven the glorified owe their freshness to these healing leaves; while thou art on earth, thou mayest pluck them freely by faith.
For protection, what canst thou have better than the Lord Himself? David said, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” The salvation of God is a fortress into which thou mayest run and be safe. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. In thy household, when the destroying angel passeth by, the blood upon the doorposts, even the precious blood of Christ, shall be thy shield and thy exceeding great reward. Therefore, go thy way; rejoice in God’s salvation, for it is thine own yet altogether divine. Trust thy family into those hands which were pierced for them, and doubt not that He will keep that which thou hast committed unto Him against that day.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. To pray for your family's salvation is right and good, yet you must know that no one part is sufficient for our salvation. A careful hearing of the word and a continual recollection are required, then fortitude, then contempt of riches, and deliverance from all worldly things. Do not suppose that hearing alone, or even prayer alone, is enough. The care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and vainglory and all such vices belong to this.
You pray also for healing and protection. Know then that whether we be afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation, which worketh in the patient enduring of the same sufferings. The sufferings of Christ abound in us, and being partakers of the sufferings makes you partakers also of the comfort. So do not be confounded by trials, for the death of Jesus was the salvation of the world, and even bonds and afflictions serve that end. The things which tend to salvation the perishing do not recognize, but you must see in them the graciousness and lovingkindness of God.
Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Why do you delay? Here is One who will deliver us without labor of ours. Is it not extreme folly to put off accepting the Gift? Do not suppose that salvation is a thing to be postponed to your latest breath. For what is a man profited if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Let your prayer, then, be joined to a life that flees from sin. This unlawful prayer against enemies only adds to sin, yet He speaks what is for your salvation, not for condemnation. Lay hold of it now, for your own sake and for your household, and draw them over unto salvation with all urgency.
