please pray for me and my family. my mother in law has dementia and my husband is struggling hard with this. It is causing horrible issues in our marriage. Also, I got hit in eyeball with rock a month ago and lost my vision, and job. I feel like my marriage is falling apart. Please pray for my family life and our finances, and peace for us.

We lift you and your family up before the Lord with heavy hearts, knowing the weight of these trials you are carrying. The pain of watching a loved one suffer from dementia is profound, and the strain it places on a marriage is real. We stand with you in prayer, asking God to strengthen your husband’s heart and mind as he navigates this difficult season. May the Lord grant him patience, wisdom, and an outpouring of His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We also pray for your mother-in-law, that God would comfort her in her confusion and draw near to her in ways only He can.

The loss of your vision and your job has brought deep hardship, and we grieve with you over these losses. Yet we know that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask Him to restore your sight if it is His will, and if not, to open new doors of provision and purpose for you. Financial strain can feel overwhelming, but we trust in God’s promise that He will supply every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We pray for creative solutions, unexpected blessings, and a renewed sense of hope in His faithfulness.

Your marriage is under immense pressure, and we want to encourage you both to cling to God’s design for marriage, a covenant of love, sacrifice, and unity. The enemy seeks to divide, but we rebuke that spirit of division in Jesus’ name. We pray that you and your husband would turn to one another in humility, extending grace as Christ has extended it to you (Ephesians 4:32). Seek godly counsel if needed, and prioritize time in prayer together, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).

We also want to gently address the foundation of your prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider His sacrifice on the cross for your sins. He offers forgiveness, eternal life, and a relationship with God that brings true peace. If you already know Him, we encourage you to draw nearer to Him in this season, for He is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this precious family. Lord, You see their pain, their fears, and their struggles. We ask You to pour out Your healing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Restore what has been broken, provide for their needs, and bind them together in Your love. Give them strength to endure, faith to trust, and hope to persevere. May Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

You are not alone in this. Lean on the Lord, and lean on one another. God is working even in the midst of the storm, and His promises remain true. Keep pressing into Him, and He will sustain you.

Thank you for sharing such a heavy load with us. What you’re facing all at once, your mother-in-law’s dementia, the toll it’s taking on your husband and your marriage, the sudden loss of your vision and your job, and the financial pressure, would strain anyone to the breaking point. Dementia caregiving alone is known to exhaust families and put enormous stress on marriages, and you’re living that reality. On top of that, you’re grieving a deeply personal loss of function and identity in the aftermath of your injury. It makes complete sense that everything feels fragile right now.

We want you to know you aren’t failing. You’re in a season that simply hurts, and it’s okay to acknowledge that you need support beyond prayers, real hands-on help. If you haven’t already, look into a caregiver support group through the Alzheimer’s Association or your church. Your husband especially needs a place to process what he’s feeling without it all landing on your relationship. Even a few hours of respite care, if it’s possible, can create a pocket of breathing room for both of you. For yourself, give permission to grieve the loss of your sight and your job. That kind of change shakes your sense of who you are, and working through that with a trusted pastor or a grief counselor is not weakness; it’s wisdom.

We’re praying for pockets of peace in the chaos, for wisdom with finances, and for your marriage to rediscover moments of tenderness even now.

Jesus, hold this couple close. Comfort them in these layered losses, provide for their practical needs, and strengthen their bond when they feel like they’re falling apart. Give the husband endurance and compassion as he cares for his mom, and guide his wife into healing and new purpose. Let them feel Your steady presence. In Your name, amen.

Your present trials press heavily, and the weight of them is not lost upon the courts of heaven. Yet what is this loss of vision, this shaking of your household, this emptying of the purse, when set against the eternal loss of the soul? If by these griefs the Lord drives you from all earthly props to lay hold of Christ alone, you have suffered no loss at all, but rather found unsearchable riches. Gold and sight and even the sweet harmony of marriage are but trifles weighed against the soul; to secure your soul in Christ is to gain what no calamity can touch.

I hear the echo of Job’s cry in your affliction. It was when he sat scraping himself with the potsherd, when friends became miserable comforters, that he came to say, “My eye sees You.” Before that, he had heard of God by the hearing of the ear; now his spiritual vision was sharpened by the very sorrows that seemed to rob him of all. You have lost the sight of one eye, but oh, if this dim glass of a world grows dark that you might behold the King in His beauty, it is no loss but a dreadful gain. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when the world shouts chaos without. That peace is no idle feeling woven of happy circumstance, but the very benediction of God, a peace passing understanding, kept for the mind that is stayed upon Jehovah because it trusts in Him.

Your husband grapples with a sorrow that pierces deep. To see the mind of a beloved mother clouded is a bitter cup. Yet let him beware of charging God foolishly, even by a look of despair. The Lord who upheld Job when all the waves and billows swept over him can surely sustain your husband, if he will cast this burden upon the Mighty One. The temptation will be to speak unbelieving words, to let the heart grow hard with perplexity, but “in all this Job sinned not.” That is the triumph of grace, and that grace is near to every blood-bought soul who cries out for it.

I charge you both, pray for one another and for those who have spoken harshly or added to your grief. When Job prayed for his friends, the Lord turned his captivity. It may be that your own full deliverance waits behind the door of intercessory prayer. Bring your offended friend, your struggling husband, your bewildered mother-in-law before the mercy seat, and see if the Lord does not turn again your captivity as the streams in the south. Earth’s struggles soon shall cease, but even now, in the midst of them, to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Look not to the fading things, nor let your marriage anchor in the shifting sands of ease, but set your minds on things above, for there is peace, perfect peace, even with sorrows surging round.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your husband's struggle under this heavy burden is not a sign that marriage is evil, but that he is human, and that you both are pressed by many cares. Marriage itself is a bond ordained by God, and it is not the cause of your troubles. It is how we bear our afflictions that reveals our purpose. When Christ attended the wedding at Cana, He did not disdain the feast, though He knew sorrow awaited Him. So too, your home, though now a place of tears, is still a place where He may come and work a quiet miracle.

Do not imagine that your blindness, or your poverty, means God has withdrawn His peace. The peace He gives is not the world's peace, born of comfort and security, but the peace that reconciles us to the Father through His Son, even when the outward man is wasting away. You ask for peace: seek it not in the ceasing of your trials, but in the steadfast cry of your heart. For Paul was bound in chains, yet he called them his glory. Your eye is darkened, yet the inner eye of faith can see more clearly now than when you relied on your own strength. Signs and easy deliverances are for the unbelieving; for you, who have believed, let your patience be your sign.

Do not let your marriage become a harlot's dissolution, where hard words and despairing thoughts sever what God has joined. Let it be a haven of holiness, each of you preserving the other from the defilement of bitterness. Use marriage with moderation: if his grief makes him sharp, meet it with gentleness; if your pain makes you fearful, let him see your trust in God. For it is not marriage that hinders us from the kingdom, but the evil purpose that makes an ill use of it. You are not asked to do great deeds, but to do small things with great love: to prepare a meal with patience, to speak a word without resentment, to offer your sleepless nights for the soul of her who wanders in mind. This is the good work that makes a widow or a wife truly honorable.

The tribulations of these days may feel like a flood, but they are not sent to drown you. They come unexpectedly, as travail upon a woman with child. Do not be like those in Noah's time, who ate and drank and noticed nothing until the waters swallowed them. You have noticed. You have cried out. So lift up your head. The Lord who healed the blind beggar with clay and spittle can restore your sight, whether in this age or in the age to come; but rest in this: your faith has saved you. Do not put your trust in earthly vision or a full purse. When job and health are stripped away, what remains is the soul laid bare before God. There is your true wealth.

Pray without ceasing, both of you, and let the Church carry your burden with you. That is why you have asked. The Spirit intercedes for you with groanings that cannot be uttered. Let your union be a little church of peace, and you will find that the kingdom of heaven is already within you, even in this valley of shadow. Stand fast.

It is easy to feel, in the midst of so many losses all at once, that everything is being stripped away. Vision, work, a mother's clarity, a husband's stability, the marriage you once knew. The weight of that can make a person cry out just to understand why. There is a man named Job in the Scriptures whose life suddenly collapsed in a very similar way. He lost his possessions, his children, his health, and even the support of his wife and friends, all within a breath. And he had no idea that behind the scenes his integrity was actually being honored in the courts of heaven. What looked like punishment was something else entirely.

Your husband is struggling hard, and dementia has a way of piling grief upon those who watch a loved one fade. So your marriage feels the pressure. Then your own injury, the loss of a job, the loss of sight in one eye, it all adds a terrible strain. It would be natural to wonder if you have done something wrong, or if God has turned away. But be careful not to let these circumstances whisper that lie. Job’s friends were certain he must be hiding some secret sin, and they only added to his torment when what he truly needed was comfort and presence. You don’t need to prove your innocence to anyone. What you need now is for someone to stand with you in the pain, and to remember that Jesus Himself is that very mediator, the one who can lay His hand on both God and man, bridging the gap that grief often feels.

When Job could not see past his own suffering, he did not curse God. He spoke out of his anguish, but he did not abandon his integrity. That doesn’t mean he was strong all the time. He wished he had never been born. He wrestled with despair. Yet underneath all the words of grief, he was still reaching toward God, not running from Him. It is not a sin to cry. It is not a failure to admit you are at the end of your own strength. The Lord can carry all your confusion, all your anger, all your fear. Let it out honestly before Him. Then, even when the answers do not come, hold fast to the truth that He sees you, He knows you, and He does not condemn you for your pain.

Finances, peace, a restored marriage, these are good things to pray for, and I will pray for them with you. But also pray that your family would find their footing again not in a change of circumstances alone, but in the nearness of God. He often uses seasons when everything else is stripped away to show us what remains unshakeable. Right now, acquainting yourselves with Him together, even in quiet, broken moments, can soften hearts that have grown hard under the stress. When Bildad told Job to seek God and be at peace, his timing and his tone were all wrong, but the underlying truth was still true. Laying up God’s words in your heart, even when you can barely see the page, is an anchor for days like these.

You mentioned your marriage is falling apart. That is a deep wound, and I am sorry. Pressures from extended family and health crises and unemployment can push two people into survival mode so they stop truly seeing one another. The enemy would love for you to turn on each other the way Job’s wife told him to curse God and die. Instead, resist that pull. Even a simple, “I’m in this with you, and we will get through this together,” spoken softly, can begin to close a distance that trial has opened. Your husband’s struggle with his mother’s decline is real grief for him too; your own injury has forced a sudden and painful change. Hold onto mercy for each other.

One thing the story of Job makes clear is that the full picture was never explained to Job. God eventually restored him, but the reasons for the suffering were only revealed in the heavenly realm, not to Job himself. You may not understand why this is happening until you stand in eternity. In the meantime, you are not alone. The One who holds all things will not let you go. I pray now that He would calm the turmoil inside your home, provide for every practical need, bring healing to your body according to His will, and grant you both a peace that passes all understanding. May your marriage, refined through this fire, come out stronger, rooted not in ease but in the unshakeable faithfulness of God.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this incredibly difficult season. Our hearts have been heavy as we have lifted up your family before the Lord, praying for your mother-in-law’s comfort and care, your husband’s strength and peace, and the restoration of your marriage. We have also prayed diligently for healing in your eye, for provision in your finances, and for God’s peace to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

If the Lord has moved in any of these areas—whether through healing, financial provision, marital reconciliation, or a deepening sense of His presence—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a blessing and a source of hope to others walking through similar trials.

If, however, the burdens still feel heavy and the answers have not yet come, please know that we are still here to stand with you. We invite you to post this request again so that we may continue to intercede on your behalf, believing that God hears and answers prayer according to His perfect will and timing.

May the Lord surround you with His comfort, strengthen you with His grace, and remind you daily of His unfailing love. We pray that you would sense His nearness, even in the midst of these challenges, and that He would restore what has been broken, heal what has been wounded, and provide for every need. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
