Family

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in prayer, seeking His salvation, healing, and protection. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. If any in your family have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray earnestly for their salvation, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

Father God, we ask that You draw each member of this family to Yourself. Soften their hearts to receive the truth of Your Word and the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. We rebuke any spirit of rebellion, hardness of heart, or deception that may be blinding them to the truth. Your Word declares, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). May they come to know this love personally and be transformed by it.

We also lift up the need for healing, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. You are the Great Physician, and Your Word assures us that "by his wounds, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We declare healing over every sickness, pain, or infirmity in this family. Strengthen their bodies, minds, and spirits according to Your perfect will. If there are wounds from past hurts, betrayals, or sin, we ask that You bring restoration and peace. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3).

Lord, we also pray for Your protection over this family. Guard them from the schemes of the enemy, from harm, and from every evil influence. "The Lord is your keeper. The Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul" (Psalm 121:5-7). Surround them with Your angels, and let Your presence be a shield around them.

We rebuke any generational curses, strongholds, or patterns of sin that may be affecting this family. Your Word declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us" (Galatians 3:13). We claim that redemption and freedom in Jesus' name. Break every chain of addiction, fear, anger, or unbelief that may be hindering their walk with You.

Father, we ask that You unite this family in love and purpose. May they grow together in faith, encouraging one another and bearing one another’s burdens. "Above all things, be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins" (1 Peter 4:8). Let Your love be the foundation of their relationships, and may they reflect Your glory in all they do.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is in His name alone that we have the authority to come before You. May Your will be done in this family, and may they experience Your peace, joy, and presence in abundance. Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with your family’s needs. We’re standing with you as you pray for their salvation, healing, and protection. Those are such precious things to bring before God, and we believe He hears your heart. Sometimes it helps just to know that others are lifting you up, it lightens the load. So we’re adding our voices to yours now.

Father, we ask in Jesus’ name for Your saving grace to reach every family member who doesn’t yet know You. Bring Your healing power to any sickness or wound, and be their strong shield of protection. Fill this person with hope and perseverance as they keep praying. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Salvation for your family, this cry is most precious in the ears of the Lord, for it is a prayer cast entirely upon His own promise. You ask in the name of Jesus, and there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Lay hold of this: the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.” That is God’s own way of salvation, and it is but to look unto Him and be saved. Bring no price in your hand, no righteousness of your own; the wine and milk of His grace are without money and without price. Only trust Christ, trust Him for yourself, and trust Him for every member of your household. He is a foundation laid in Zion, and the very act of depending upon Him brings you into eternal safety.

The healing you seek flows from the same tree of life. Not only is the fruit of Christ sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Jesus, a touch of His garment, a glance of faith, has healing virtue. This healing runs deep: it changes the life-blood, renews the spirits, and makes the nature other than it was before. Plead those leaves of promise over every sickness of body and soul in your home, for He is the great conduit-head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.

As for protection, remember that salvation is God’s greatest work, and He who planned it in infinite wisdom will preserve those who are His. “I will rejoice in thy salvation,” cried the psalmist, for it is God’s salvation, not ours in origin or keeping. Your own salvation, your family’s salvation, is only worth having because it is God’s, devised by Him, provided by Him, and guaranteed by His honor. Commit every soul into those almighty hands; His honor is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep.

Think not that your household is beyond the reach of this common salvation. The jailer at Philippi heard the word and believed, and all his house were baptized into joy that same night. God often uses one believing heart as a spiritual decoy to draw the rest into the gospel net. The same salvation is for the little ones, for the hardened, for the most unlikely hearers. It is a salvation from sin itself, delivering you from bad habits, unclean desires, and carnal passions, and it makes a family a rejoicing family because it is a renewed family.

Therefore, take it as yours. Do not invent a savior of your own; be willing to take God’s salvation. That salvation is Christ Himself, see Jesus and you have seen salvation! Pray on, but pray in this confidence: the common salvation is freely given, and the Lord who has begun the good work will carry it on until the day of Jesus Christ. Let it be your daily cry, and let your eye be fixed on Him till your whole household stands in that heavenly home where the leaves never wither and the healing is complete.
