Family

We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up your family in earnest prayer. It is a sacred privilege to intercede for you, for the Lord tells us in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We stand in agreement with you, believing that God hears and answers the cries of His children.

First and foremost, we rejoice in your acknowledgment of Jesus' name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is the greatest gift, and we pray fervently that every member of your family comes to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Father, we ask that You draw each heart to Yourself, softening any resistance and opening eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May they experience the new birth that comes through faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:3), and may their lives be transformed by the power of Your Holy Spirit. We declare that no one in this family is beyond Your reach, and we trust in Your perfect timing and sovereign will to bring them into Your kingdom.

Heavenly Father, we also lift up the need for healing, physical, emotional, and spiritual. The Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over every member of this family. Where there is sickness, we pray for Your healing touch. Where there is pain, we ask for Your comfort. Where there is brokenness, we pray for restoration. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to make all things new. Strengthen their bodies, minds, and spirits, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Protection is another vital need we bring before You. The world is filled with dangers seen and unseen, but we take refuge in the truth of Psalm 91:9-11, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We pray a hedge of protection around this family, Lord. Guard them from physical harm, spiritual attacks, and the schemes of the enemy. May Your angels encamp around them, and may they walk in the safety of Your presence every day.

We also want to encourage you to stand firm in faith, even when circumstances seem overwhelming. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." God is with you, and He is for you. Continue to seek Him in prayer, immerse yourselves in His Word, and trust in His promises. Surround yourselves with fellow believers who can uplift and support you in your walk with Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation. We lift up this precious family to You, asking for Your salvation to flood their lives. Draw them close to You, Lord, and let them experience the depth of Your love and grace. We pray for healing in every area, body, mind, and spirit. Touch them with Your healing hand and restore what has been broken. Protect them, Father, from all harm and danger. Surround them with Your angels and let Your presence be their refuge.

We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their hearts. May they grow in their relationship with You and walk in the fullness of Your blessings.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We are holding your family before the Lord with you this very moment, and we are grateful you reached out. It is completely right to bring the big three needs, salvation, healing, and protection, straight to the Father, and we join our voices with yours for each one.

Sometimes when everything seems to need prayer at once, it helps to remember that God sees your whole household: every person, every ache, every hidden worry. You are not asking too much of Him. The desire for your family’s salvation, your own healing, and a covering of protection over those you love is deeply close to His heart. He knows the weight you carry for them, and He does not tire of hearing that love expressed.

One thing that has encouraged many people in similar seasons is simply not carrying the prayer alone. If you have a small group, a faithful friend, or an elder in your church, consider letting them know you would appreciate their prayers alongside yours. When others say “I’m praying for you,” the comfort is real, and it strengthens your own spirit while you wait. You don’t need to explain every detail; you can just tell them you are asking God for salvation, healing, and protection for your family, and you would welcome their partnership in prayer. It reminds you that you are not isolated, and it lets the body of Christ do what it was made to do, carry each other’s burdens.

As you do, we also ask the Lord to surround you now.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this beloved one and their family. Pour out Your saving grace on each person who does not yet know You, and draw them gently into Your light. Bring healing to this dear child of Yours, body, mind, and spirit, and give wisdom to any medical hands that help. Spread Your protection over this family, guarding them from harm and from the schemes of the enemy. Sustain their hope and let them taste Your peace even as they wait. We trust You, the Good Shepherd, to care for every need. In Your mighty name, Amen.

You cry to God for salvation, healing, and protection in the name of Jesus. It is well that you plead that name, for there is salvation in none other: Christ Himself is the salvation of God. Look unto Him, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth. This is the simple way, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, trust in Him with all your heart, and you shall never be ashamed. It is not by works, nor by any price you could bring; the salvation we preach is without money and without price. If you would have it, you must come empty-handed, bringing nothing but your sin, and receive Him as God’s free gift.

You pray for healing. Remember that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue. He can heal the body if it be His will, but more than that, He heals the soul, purging it from evil, changing the very lifeblood of our nature, making us new. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus; look to Him for wholeness of spirit, and leave your body in His wise hands.

And for your family, what a mercy that you bring them before the throne! The Lord often saves households. The gospel net is cast over whole families; the jailer at Philippi believed and all his house rejoiced. Pray on, believing that God is able to make your family a household of faith. It is the common salvation that is offered to all, the youngest child, the hardest sinner, the most unlikely hearer. None are excluded from that free invitation: “Whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”

Protection you seek, and well you may. Commit your soul and your dear ones into the hands of Him who is able to keep you from falling. He is your shield and your exceeding great reward. But above all, see that your own salvation is secure, the salvation which is God’s from first to last, planned in His infinite wisdom, purchased by His Son, applied by His Spirit. Rejoice in that salvation, for it is irreversible; His honour is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep. Look to Christ this very moment. The look does not require a moment; it is instantaneous. And having looked, go and make this common salvation known, that your joy may be full.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for salvation, healing, and protection is a good beginning, but understand that no single part is sufficient for our salvation. If you seek healing of the body, do not neglect the healing of the soul. For what profit is there if you gain health and protection in this world, yet lose your own soul through softness, carelessness in hearing the word, or clinging to worldly things? Deliverance from all worldly cares is required, together with fortitude and continual recollection of the truth.

Yet take courage, for the death of Jesus is the very salvation of the world. He came not to judge but to save, and this present time is the acceptable day of salvation. Do not put off the gift. Let those who are deluded by the deceitfulness of riches and the cares of this life hear and bestir themselves, for the things that lead to salvation are mocked by those who are perishing.

Whether you are afflicted, know that it works for comfort and salvation when you endure such sufferings with patience, becoming a partaker of the sufferings of Christ. And if comfort comes, it is for your consolation and the strengthening of your hope. But take heed: if while praying for protection you remain negligent in hearing and doing, or if you harbor unlawful prayers against others, you heap up sin upon sin and have no ground for hope. Let your prayer be for true salvation, that you and your household may know the common salvation, wash away the charges against you without delay, and hold fast to Him who alone delivers from destruction.
