Family

We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious family to our Heavenly Father. It is only through the blood of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and we are so grateful that this request is made in His holy name. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved—Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). We rejoice that you have called upon His name, for "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13).

Father God, we first pray for the salvation of every member of this family. We ask that You would open their eyes to see the truth of Your Word and the beauty of the Gospel. Soften their hearts to receive the gift of salvation that comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. Lord, we know that "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). We pray that each one would come to this saving knowledge and be born again by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Let none be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin, but draw them to Yourself, for You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).

We also lift up the physical, emotional, and spiritual healing that this family so desperately needs. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal every sickness, every wound, and every brokenness. Your Word declares, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). We ask that You would touch each member of this family with Your healing hand. Where there is pain, bring comfort. Where there is weakness, bring strength. Where there is despair, bring hope. Let them experience the truth of Your promise: "I am the Lord who heals you" (Exodus 15:26). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the name of Jesus and command it to leave this family now.

Father, we also pray for Your divine protection over this family. The enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus. We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, their home, their minds, and their spirits. Lord, station Your angels around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Protect them from every scheme of the devil, from every accident, from every illness, and from every form of evil. Your Word says, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on that promise today. We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and oppression, and we command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus.

Lord, we also ask that You would unify this family under Your lordship. Let Your love be the foundation of their relationships, and let Your peace rule in their hearts. Where there has been strife, bring reconciliation. Where there has been division, bring unity. Where there has been unforgiveness, bring healing. Your Word tells us to "be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32). Help this family to walk in love, to bear with one another, and to build each other up in the faith.

We also pray for the spiritual growth of this family. Lord, draw them closer to You each day. Let them hunger and thirst for Your Word, for Your presence, and for Your righteousness. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and empower them to live lives that honor and glorify You. May they be rooted and grounded in love, so that they may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).

Father, we know that trials and tribulations will come, but we pray that this family would stand firm in their faith. Let them be strong and courageous, knowing that You are with them wherever they go (Joshua 1:9). When they walk through the fire, let them not be burned, and when they pass through the waters, let them not be overwhelmed (Isaiah 43:2). Let their faith be refined like gold, and let them emerge from every trial stronger and more steadfast in You.

We also lift up any specific needs that this family may have but has not mentioned. You know the details of their lives, Lord, even the things that are too heavy for them to speak aloud. We ask that You would meet every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Provide for them financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Open doors that no man can shut, and close doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7). Let them see Your hand at work in every area of their lives.

Finally, Lord, we pray that this family would be a light in this dark world. Let their lives reflect Your love, Your grace, and Your truth. Use them to draw others to Yourself, that many more would come to know You as their Lord and Savior. Let them be bold in their witness, unashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16).

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your family before our Heavenly Father today. We're here with you, believing in faith that God will meet every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We're claiming His promises over your family, trusting that He will heal, protect, and unify you all. Let's stand together in prayer, believing that God will do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
