Disciple of Prayer
For my daughter-in-law ###, a man has seduced her and impressed her with money. She is in a bad relationship with this man. This has hurt both her children and their father badly and broken her family. That God have mercy and end this relationship, remove this man from her life. He also has his own woman and children. The father of her children works hard jobs to support the kids while she is with another man.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this desperate situation involving your daughter-in-law, who has been led astray by the deceitful allure of wealth and the manipulations of a man who is not her husband. This is a grievous sin, one that has brought deep pain to her children, her husband, and the entire family. The Word of God is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the destructive nature of adultery. In Proverbs 6:32, we read, *"He who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding. He who does it destroys his own soul."* This man has not only led your daughter-in-law into sin but has also abandoned his own responsibilities to his family, revealing a heart that is far from God.

The enemy has used material temptation to blind her to the truth, but we know that no scheme of Satan can prevail against the power of Christ. Your daughter-in-law’s actions have caused a fracture in her marriage, and yet, we serve a God of restoration. In Joel 2:25, the Lord promises, *"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten."* Though the damage seems severe, nothing is beyond His redemptive power. However, repentance must come first. In 2 Corinthians 7:10, we are reminded, *"For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world produces death."* We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart, leading her to true repentance—turning away from this sinful relationship and back to her husband and children, where she belongs.

We also lift up her husband, who has remained faithful in providing for his family despite the betrayal he has endured. His labor is not unseen by God. In 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, the apostle Paul instructs, *"But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."* Though she has strayed, reconciliation is still the biblical path if she turns from her sin. We pray for strength and wisdom for him, that he would continue to walk in integrity, trusting the Lord to fight this battle on behalf of his family.

As for the man who has seduced her, we rebuke the spirit of deception and greed that has driven his actions. His behavior is an abomination before God, and unless he repents, he will face judgment. Proverbs 5:22 warns, *"His own iniquities will capture the wicked. He will be held with the cords of his sin."* We pray that the Lord would expose his deeds, bringing conviction so that he may turn from his wickedness and seek forgiveness. May his current family also be protected from the fallout of his sin.

Now, let us pray together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the throne of God:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, lifting up this family that has been torn apart by sin and deception. Lord, we ask that You intervene powerfully in the life of this daughter-in-law. Open her eyes to the destruction she is causing—not only to herself but to her children, her husband, and the man she is with. Convict her spirit, Lord, and draw her back to You. Let her feel the weight of her sin so that she may repent and turn away from this adulterous relationship. Break every ungodly soul tie that has formed between her and this man, and sever all financial and emotional dependencies that have bound her to him.

Father, we pray for her husband, who has remained steadfast despite the pain of betrayal. Strengthen him, Lord, and surround him with Your peace. Give him wisdom on how to respond, and if it is Your will, restore their marriage. Let him see Your hand moving in this situation, and may he find comfort in knowing that You are his vindicator. Protect their children from the emotional scars of this broken home, and let them know Your love in a tangible way.

Lord, we also pray for the man who has led her astray. Expose his deeds, Father, and bring conviction upon his heart. If he refuses to repent, let his schemes fail, and may he no longer have any influence over her life. Break the power of money and lust that has driven this sin, and let Your truth prevail.

We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We bind the spirit of adultery, deception, and greed in the name of Jesus, and we loose the power of the Holy Spirit to bring restoration, healing, and reconciliation. Father, let Your will be done in this situation. May Your name be glorified as You turn what the enemy meant for evil into a testimony of Your grace and redemption.

We ask all these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to save, heal, and restore. Amen.

To you who have brought this request before us, we encourage you to continue standing in faith. Do not grow weary in prayer, for the Lord hears the cries of His people. Keep speaking life and truth over this situation, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. If your daughter-in-law is open to it, share the truth in love with her, reminding her of God’s design for marriage and the consequences of her choices. But above all, cover her in prayer, for it is the Lord who changes hearts.

Finally, if she has not yet surrendered her life to Christ, pray that this trial would lead her to salvation. There is no greater restoration than that of a soul being reconciled to God through Jesus Christ. Remind her that true fulfillment is not found in money or fleeting relationships but in a life surrendered to Him. As it is written in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* May she turn to Him in full repentance and find the peace that surpasses all understanding.

We're standing with you, sister. Our hearts ache for your daughter-in-law, caught in a web of deceit and seduction. We've been there, haven't we? The pain of betrayal, the heartache of our loved ones suffering. But we know our God is a God of miracles, of restoration, of second chances.

Let's pray. Lord, we come to You today, heavy-hearted but hopeful. We lift up our daughter-in-law, blinded by the allure of money and the sweet-talk of a deceitful man. Open her eyes, Lord. Let her see the destruction she's causing - to herself, to her children, to her husband, to her family. Convict her heart, Lord. Bring her to her knees in repentance. Break the chains that bind her to this man, to this sin. Let her turn back to her husband, to her children, to her family, where she belongs.

Strengthen her husband, Lord. Give him wisdom, courage, and patience. Protect their children, Lord. Shield them from the emotional scars of this broken home. And if it's Your will, restore their marriage, Lord. Make it even stronger than before.

Expose the man who's led her astray, Lord. Bring conviction upon his heart. If he refuses to repent, let his schemes fail, Lord. Let him no longer have any influence over her life.

We claim Your promise in Isaiah 54:17, Lord. No weapon formed against this family shall prosper. We bind the spirits of adultery, deception, and greed in the name of Jesus. We loose the power of the Holy Spirit for restoration, healing, and reconciliation.

We trust You, Lord. We believe in Your power to save, to heal, to restore. We ask these things in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

Keep praying, sister. Keep standing in faith. God sees, God hears, God cares. And He's working, even when we can't see it.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift your daughter-in-law, her family, and this painful situation before the Lord in prayer. Our hearts have been burdened alongside yours these past days, interceding for God’s mercy to break the enemy’s stronghold in her life and for the restoration of what has been broken. We know the Father hears our cries, and we trust He is at work—even when we cannot yet see the full picture of His redemption.

If the Lord has moved in this situation—whether through conviction, separation from this destructive relationship, or the first steps toward reconciliation with her family—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. There is nothing more powerful than testifying to God’s faithfulness, as it strengthens the faith of all who read it and brings glory to His name.

If the struggle continues and the weight of this burden still feels heavy, we urge you to share an update so we can persist in prayer with you. The enemy would love to isolate you in this fight, but we are here to stand firm in the gap, declaring God’s truth over your daughter-in-law: that she is *not* defined by her choices, that her identity is found in Christ alone, and that the Lord is able to turn even this pain into a testimony of His grace. We will keep praying for her eyes to be opened to the deception of this relationship, for the man involved to be removed from her life, and for her heart to turn back to her children and their father—the family God intended for her.

Most of all, we pray for her salvation and repentance if she does not yet know the Lord, because true transformation begins there. We also lift up her children and their father, asking God to comfort their hearts, protect their spirits from bitterness, and provide for their every need as only He can. May the Lord surround this family with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, and may they feel His presence in tangible ways during this trial.

Do not grow weary in bringing this before the throne of grace. We are here with you, believing that what the enemy meant for harm, God will use for good. Keep seeking Him, trusting that His timing is perfect and His love for your daughter-in-law is deeper than any mistake she has made.

We continue to pray in Jesus’ name.
