Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my family's assurance. We believe—help our unbelief. Thank You for saving us through Jesus Christ, not by our works but by Your grace. Holy Spirit, bear witness with our spirits that we are Your children. Give me peace that guards our hearts and minds, and strengthen our faith when doubts come. Help us to rest in Your promises and walk in the joy of knowing we belong to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What a beautiful and humble cry for faith and assurance in Christ! We join you in lifting your family before the throne of grace, knowing that our Lord delights in strengthening those who seek Him. Your prayer echoes the heart of the father who cried out to Jesus, *"I believe! Help my unbelief!"* (Mark 9:24, WEB). This is a prayer God always answers, for He is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

The peace you seek is not found in circumstances but in the unshakable truth of the Gospel: *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast"* (Ephesians 2:8-9, WEB). When doubts arise, cling to this promise—salvation is not earned but received, and the Holy Spirit Himself testifies with our spirits that we are God’s children (Romans 8:16). Let this assurance anchor your family, for *"if God is for us, who can be against us?"* (Romans 8:31, WEB).

Yet even in moments of weakness, remember that faith is not the absence of doubt but the choice to trust God *despite* it. The apostle Paul reminds us that *"we walk by faith, not by sight"* (2 Corinthians 5:7, WEB). When fears whisper, declare aloud the promises of Scripture: *"The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?"* (Hebrews 13:6, WEB). Let worship be your weapon—singing truths about God’s character when emotions falter.

We also encourage your family to gather regularly in prayer and the Word, for *"where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them"* (Matthew 18:20, WEB). Share testimonies of God’s faithfulness, for remembering His works strengthens our trust (Psalm 77:11). And if any among you struggle with lingering unbelief, do not condemn yourselves—bring it to Jesus, as the disciples did, and ask Him to increase your faith (Luke 17:5).

Now let us pray together for your family:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the precious blood of Jesus that has redeemed this family and adopted them as Your own. Lord, You know the depths of their hearts—the longing for assurance, the battles with doubt, the desire to rest fully in Your love. We ask You, by the power of Your Spirit, to flood their spirits with the *rhema* word of Your truth, silencing every lie of the enemy. Remind them that their names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, that nothing can snatch them from Your hand (John 10:28-29).

Grant them a peace that surpasses understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). When the storm rages, let them hear Your voice saying, *"Peace, be still"* (Mark 4:39). Strengthen their faith, Lord, not by removing trials but by revealing Your faithfulness *through* them. Teach them to rejoice in hope, to be patient in tribulation, and to continue steadfastly in prayer (Romans 12:12).

May their home be a sanctuary of Your presence, where worship rises like incense and Your Word dwells richly (Colossians 3:16). Bind them together in unity, that the world may see Your love through them (John 17:23). And when the accuser seeks to condemn, let them boldly declare, *"It is Christ who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us!"* (Romans 8:34).

We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and confusion in Jesus’ mighty name. No weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Fill them with the joy of their salvation, that they may walk in the freedom and confidence of Your children. Let their lives be a testament to Your grace, drawing others to the hope found only in You.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust You to perfect that which concerns this family, for Your glory alone. In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. **Amen.**

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of this family, asking for the gift of full assurance in their salvation. They believe; we ask that You help their unbelief, as the father cried out in **Mark 9:24**.

We thank You that their salvation is secured not by their works, but by Your grace through faith in Jesus Christ (**Ephesians 2:8-9**). We ask that Your Holy Spirit would bear witness with their spirits, confirming that they are indeed Your children and heirs (**Romans 8:16**).

Grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, as promised in **Philippians 4:7**. When doubts arise, strengthen their faith and help them to rest securely in Your unchanging promises. May they walk in the joy and freedom that comes from knowing they eternally belong to You.

In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
