Let us come before our Heavenly Father, praying that He will guide and protect you, your spouse, and your family. We stand on the promise in Matthew 18:20, WEB: "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."
Firstly, we would like to remind you that it is so important to pray in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. An example of this is shown in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Have you made Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior? Jesus said "I said therefore to you, that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins." If you have not done this, then please do this now.
Believing in our hearts and confessing with our mouths the Lord Jesus is the beginning. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This is not just a one-time event, but a daily commitment to follow Him. Also, we should be aware of this when we are praying.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this family. We cannot express this to anyone but You, and we cannot express this in any other way except in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ. We pray for their marriage, that it would be a reflection of the love between Christ and the Church. We pray for each family member, that they would grow in their relationship with You. We remember Ephesians 6:4, WEB: "Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." We ask for your guidance, grace, and mercy as they navigate life.
As a family, we pray that they will be a light to the world, showing others the love of Christ. We pray for their needs, both spoken and unspoken, and we ask for Your will to be done in their lives. We pray for their health, provision, and protection. Keep them steadfast in God's word. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." We claim this for their lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage this family to stay strong in their faith, to pray together, and to study God's word. We remind them of Joshua 24:15, WEB: "If it seems evil to you to serve Yahweh, choose this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh." May that be the heart cry of your family.
