We understand that you're concerned about someone being negatively influenced or harmed by others, and you're seeking God's intervention. Firstly, we must remind you that our help comes from the name of the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth. It is important that when we pray we pray in the name of Jesus. There is no other name for which we can be saved or call upon God. Let's pray together and seek God's will in this situation.
We need to remember to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. As it is written in Matthew 5:44-45 WEB, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust."
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this person who is being troubled by others. We pray that You would intervene and thwart the plans of those who seek to harm or influence them negatively. We ask that You would turn this situation around for good, as You promised in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We also pray for those who are causing trouble. We ask that You would soften their hearts and turn them away from their harmful behavior. We pray that they would know the love of Christ which can change our lives and save us from sin.
Help the person being harmed to forgive and to trust in You, knowing that You are their shield and protector. Guide them in the path of righteousness, and give them the strength to endure and overcome this trial.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Trust in Him, and He will deliver you. If the individual knows Jesus Christ then we can assure them that this will all be for their good. If not, then use this as an opportunity to discuss God's plan for salvation and how that can help in their situation.
