My husband has quit drinking. He was a real bad alcoholic and when faced with loosing his family he decided to quit. The problem is he is no longer happy, he is now a miserable human being, but he feels that it is the family turning on him not him snapping at the family. I am considering leaving him anyway, but I know if I do he will return to drinking. I need to know the path in which to walk. I need to know if God wants me to stay and work on healing or take our children and run. We are wanting to move away from here where he has many friends and relatives who all drink, but we can not afford to do so. I think we are both very homesick which adds to the stress we are under. We need God to provide housing back home and a career where my husband can be happy doing. I want my husband to be happy again. Please pray for us we may be to far gone for prayer to work.

Dear Father,

Please restore hope and faith in this family. Help this husband to realize his need for Jesus Christ in his life and for deliverance from the anger he is succumbing to. Father open his eyes, help him to seek You and to find peace and wisdom and to have the courage and strength to do what needs to be done to save his marriage and family and mostly to live a life that honors and pleases You. Help him to know You are loving and generous and forgiving, and You will bless those efforts. Help this wife not to stop praying, and to draw nearer to You herself. Give her wisdom and guidance and patience to wait on You and sensitivity to Your Spirit that she will know when You are speaking to her. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

This family needs your loving arms around them. A life without family is no life. Lord please give this couple the desire to know you and grow in faith as a family unit. There's no way they can make without YOU GOD. Be the glue that keeps this family together.

Dear Lord, I pray a personally felt prayer for this family. I know how much an addiction can tear a woman's heart to shreds. I pray Lord for your intervention. Please convict this man's heart and help him to realize that he can overcome his addiction and find happiness through You. Help him to know that this is the only way he will ever have both sobriety and happiness. Give strength to this woman and her family. Provide them with the comfort of your love and compassion. I pray Lord that you will provide her with the answers they need to do Your will for them. Protect her and especially her husband from the enemy. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
