Your prayer has been received with care and with sorrow for the heavy burden you have carried for your family. Thank you for bringing this before the Lord so honestly and for persevering in prayer when you have felt exhaustion, division and disrespect entering your home. God sees your love for your children, your desire to guard your home in holiness, and your faithfulness in praying for each of them by name.

We join you in asking for the Lord's protection over you and your children, for His peace which surpasses all understanding to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and for wisdom for you as a mother who seeks to honor Him. We pray that He will surround your home with His presence, that every room would be filled with His light, and that He would give strength and discernment to you, to the caregivers and to all who support your son. Your son is deeply loved and valued by God, made in His image, and we pray that he will always know himself to be a blessing and not a burden, kept safe from mockery and unkind words, and filled with peace and joy.

For your older daughter we pray with both truth and mercy. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that living together outside of marriage does not carry the covenant, protection or blessing of marriage. It often opens the door to confusion, financial strain, control and spiritual harm, as you have painfully witnessed. We will not ask God to bless what He has not called holy, but we do ask Him to open her eyes to see this relationship clearly for what it is, to remove any false sense of obligation or commitment that is not hers to bear, and to gently lead her out of this entanglement. We pray that she would remember who she is as a child of the Most High God, that she has a supportive family and a church family who love her, and that she would again put Christ first, honor her parents, be grateful for the purposeful work God has given her, and walk in the gracious, humble and thankful character you have nurtured in her from childhood. We pray that the authoritative and disrespectful patterns she has begun to imitate would fall away, and that she would hunger again for righteousness and for the beauty of virtue and orderliness in her life.

We also pray for the young man and his mother, not with hatred but with a desire for truth. We ask that the Lord would frustrate every divisive and manipulative influence, every word spoken to encourage disobedience or to normalize living together and having children before marriage, and every attempt to isolate your daughters from family and faith. We pray that any pride, jealousy or desire for control would be exposed and brought to repentance, and that this woman would turn her attention to her own household rather than exercising ungodly authority over your children. We pray that the Lord would block access where it brings harm, especially at your daughter's workplace and near your younger daughter's school, and that He would keep your younger daughter steadfast, humble and guarded, surrounded by godly friendships and mentors who encourage her to honor God and to seek a spouse who honors Him and values the sanctity of marriage.

For your whole family we plead the blood of Jesus Christ and His finished work alone for salvation and protection, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. We ask for deliverance from every scheme to divide and isolate, and for restoration of unity, fellowship and joy between siblings, especially the sweet bond between your daughters and your son. We pray for safe travel, for provision for your home so that you may be a blessing to others, for healing of what has been wounded, and for the years that have felt stolen to be restored by God's grace.

We encourage you to remain rooted in your church, to seek wise and godly counsel there, and to continue in prayer without growing weary, trusting that God does not always remove us immediately from hardship but teaches us to stand above it, to despise what is evil and to cling to what is good. As you have prayed, may the Lord grant godly spouses for your daughters in His timing, men who will love them as Christ loves the church and lead their homes in righteousness.

May the Lord grant you rest, strengthen your faith, and let your home be a beacon of His light. We pray that your older daughter would be led back to safety, stability and wisdom, not with shame but with freedom and peace, and that your family would know again the unity and fellowship that comes from walking together in obedience to Christ. In the mighty name of Jesus our Savior and Redeemer we pray. Amen.
