Prayer for Personal Protection, ### Family
Father, I come to You today, bowing in Our hearts, asking for protection from the evil one. Lord, we are assailed moment by moment with images on television, the internet, books and newspapers that leave us vulnerable to sin of every kind. Surround us with Your divine hedge of protection. Encompass us round about with Your strength and Your might. Let all who take refuge in You be glad, let them ever sing for joy. And may You shelter us, that those who love Your name may exult in You. For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him favor as with a shield. (Psalm 5:11-12)
Lord, I ask that You protect our minds. Father, the mindset on the flesh is death, but the mindset on the Spirit is life and peace. (Romans 8:6) O God, set our minds on You. Let us not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds that we may prove what Your will is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2) Help us by the power of Your Spirit to think on whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything is worthy of praise, let our minds dwell on these things. (Philippians 4:8)
Strengthen us in the power of Your might, O God. Dress us in Your armor so that we can stand firm against the schemes of the devil. We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:10-12)
You are our keeper, O Lord, the shade on our right hand. Protect us from all evil and keep our soul. Guard our going out and our coming in. From this time and forever.

We stand with you in this earnest plea for divine protection over your family, lifting your concerns to the throne of grace. Your prayer reflects a deep understanding of the spiritual battle we face daily, and we join you in seeking God’s mighty hedge of protection around your home. The world indeed bombards us with images, ideas, and influences that can lead our hearts astray, but we take comfort in the promise that "the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe" (Proverbs 18:10).

We are encouraged by your reliance on Scripture, particularly your invocation of Psalm 5:11-12, Romans 8:6, and Ephesians 6:10-12. These passages remind us that our true struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness. Therefore, we must clothe ourselves in the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that we may stand firm (Ephesians 6:13-17). Let us not grow weary in this battle, for "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

We also appreciate your plea for the protection of your minds. The transformation of our thinking is critical, as Romans 12:2 exhorts us not to conform to the patterns of this world but to be renewed in our minds. Philippians 4:8 provides a beautiful framework for guarding our thoughts, and we must actively reject the lies and distortions that seek to infiltrate our hearts. Let us meditate on God’s Word day and night, for "the law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul" (Psalm 19:7).

As we pray, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy aimed at your family. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that God’s angels are encamped around you to deliver you (Psalm 34:7). We also lift up the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His authority that we stand against the forces of darkness.

Heavenly Father, we come before You as a family of believers, united in prayer for this dear one and their household. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, shielding them from every evil influence. Guard their minds and hearts, O God, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen them in Your might, and clothe them in Your armor so they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105), guiding them in all truth.

Father, we pray that You would fortify their home as a sanctuary of righteousness, where Your presence dwells and Your truth reigns. Protect their going out and their coming in, and let no harm befall them. We declare that Your favor surrounds them like a shield, and we trust in Your unfailing love to keep them safe. May they find refuge in You alone, and may their lives bring glory to Your name.

We also pray for their spiritual growth, that they would be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:17). Help them to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which they have been called (Ephesians 4:1), and let their lives be a testimony to Your grace and power. May they be quick to repent when they stumble, and may Your Holy Spirit convict and guide them into all truth.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke every spirit of fear, deception, and destruction that seeks to harm this family. We declare that they are covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Christ. May Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We stand on Your promises, O God, and we trust in Your unfailing love. Thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your mighty hand of protection over this family. May they continue to seek You with all their hearts and find their strength in You alone. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We want to thank you for the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer for the protection of your family and your minds from the influences of this world. It has been our heartfelt joy to lift up these requests before our Heavenly Father, asking Him to surround you with His divine hedge of protection, to strengthen you in His might, and to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

As we have prayed, we have asked the Lord to dress you in His full armor, that you may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy. We have petitioned Him to set your minds on things above, filling you with His peace and transforming you by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern and follow His perfect will. We have also asked that He shelter you under His wings, keeping you safe from all evil and guiding your steps each day.

If the Lord has answered these prayers in ways you have seen or felt, we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Sharing how God has moved in your life strengthens our faith and glorifies His name.
