Family Protection

Beloved Warrior
Jesus, I'm lifting up my family before the throne of grace, where our Lord hears the cries of His children. My heart is heavy with concern, and I am pleading the precious blood of Jesus over every member of my household. Lord, I ask for complete restoration, respect, gratefulness and fellowship in my family and for all negative influences and all spiritual attacks to be permanently removed forever. No weapon formed against me and my family shall prosper, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Father, I come before You with hearts grieved by the spiritual warfare raging against me and my family. Lord, it is overwhelming and I ask that You completely remove this young man and his mother from my older daughter's life. I rebuke every spirit of division, ungratefulness, hatred, manipulation, control, isolation, exhaustion, word curse, isolation, division, ungratefulness and witchcraft that has sought to infiltrate my home. I plead Jesus for You to remove this young man and his mother completely for my older daughter's life swiftly as they are trying to divide me and my younger daughter they have started to convince my younger daughter to live with them. Lord I know nothing is impossible for You. And I ask You remove these hateful people. These people have caused exhaustion, financial hardship, worthlessness in my older daughter's life and havoc in our family. This young man's mother is very disruptive. Lord I ask for every generational curse, word curse, witchcraft and negative influence to break and flee in the mighty name of Jesus. Guide my older daughter to release this man from her life, let her not ignore the destruction, financial hardship, worthlessness and exhaustion he has caused in her life and to be truthful to the disrespect, isolation, division he has caused in her life. The blood of Jesus has already overcome every power of darkness, and I stand on that victory (Colossians 2:15). I declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard the hearts and minds of my family forever(Philippians 4:7). Lord, I am deeply concern for my older daughter, who is entangled in an ungodly relationship that dishonors You. Living together outside of marriage is not a marriage, and it has opens the door to spiritual bondage and deception (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Jesus, give clarity to my older daughter that this man is selfish and he is not ready for a relationship, he is not her significant other, he is not her responsibility to take care of, she does not belong to him. She belong to You, Lord. I ask Lord that You guide her back home swiftly with no regret only a feeling of freedom, safe, joy, and satisfaction. I pray that You would open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and the red flags she has been blinded to. Remove the stubbornness that has taken root in her heart and replace it with a hunger for righteousness and the want to move back. Break the hold this man and his family have over her, and reveal to her the toxicity and exploitation of this relationship. Father, I ask that You would frustrate every plan, plot, or scheme of these people to isolate, divide, and destroy my daughter from our family and turn her heart back to You and to those who love her unconditionally (Malachi 4:6). Lord, open my older daughter's heart and mind. Remind her of the value she was raised with and the love of our family. Jesus, remove all pride, shame, or pressure that keeps her from seeing the truth. Guide her away, Lord, from this living in situations that will harm her future and her purpose. Jesus, lead her away from this ungodly living arrangement, and bring her back home to safety, stability, and wisdom. Jesus, guide her to never obey this man and put him and his family before her faith, her parent, her siblings, and extended families. This young man and his mother's behavior to cause division, isolation, chaos and strife has been manifesting, and I ask Lord for Your divine protection, courage, and strength to keep our fellowship and bond as a family. Jesus, guide my daughter to stop taking on undue responsibilities to take care of this man, let her see he is not ready for a marriage. Give her the wisdom to stop defending and giving a false image of him to others. He is heartless toward her and is a very selfish, lazy, dishonest and rebellious man. Please Lord, save her and have mercy upon her, get her out of this toxic relationship with this man swiftly. Lord, frustrate all his plans right now. I also lift up my younger daughter, praying that she would remain steadfast in her faith and not be swayed by the ungodly example set before her. Protect her heart as this man and his mother damage the sweetest bond she has with her older sister and brother. Protect her from the divisive tactics of this man and his mother, and surround her with godly friendships and mentors who will encourage her in the ways of the Lord. May she never see living together outside of marriage as an acceptable path, but instead, may she seek a spouse who honors You and values the sanctity of marriage (2 Corinthians 6:14). May she never be ungrateful toward me and hateful toward her brother. Jesus, I ask for Your protection over and around her from this man and his mother and strengthen our family's fellowship and unity. Father, I pray for my son with disabilities, that he would be surrounded by love, acceptance, and protection. May he never feel like a burden or an embarrassment, but rather a blessing, as he truly is. Protect him from the hatred, mockery, isolation, divisiveness, exclusion, word curses and witchcraft that stem from this young man's mother and any other negative influences. I rebuke all spiritual attacks, Lord I ask that You command them to flee and never return to torment him. Saturate him with Your peace and protection always. Strengthen his relationship with me, his sisters, caregivers and our extended families. Remove from his life any friendships or influences that look down on him, and replace them with those who will uplift and cherish him. Bless him with peace, joy, love, satisfaction, and the knowledge of Your unconditional love for him. Jesus, protect him from the hateful and demeaning way this young man's mother looks at him. Block all her word curses upon his life. I declare that my home will be a sanctuary of God’s presence, where love, unity, and peace reign. I pray for the restoration of the relationships that have been strained and broken by the enemy’s schemes. Father, mend what has been torn, heal what has been wounded, and restore what has been lost. May my family be a beacon of Your light, drawing others to the love and grace found only in You. Restore our peace, unconditional love, joy and happiness again. Lord, I ask for financial blessings to flow into my home, not for selfish gain, but so that my family may be a blessing to others and a testimony of Your provision. I rebuke every spirit of lack and poverty, and I declare that my family will walk in the abundance of Your blessings (Philippians 4:19). I pray for godly spouses for both of my daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the church, who will lead them in righteousness, and who will honor the covenant of marriage as You intended (Ephesians 5:25) someone who will respect their upbringings. May my daughter seek husbands who walk in Your ways, rather than being drawn to those who would lead them astray. Father, I ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. Remove the ungodly influences from my family’s life, and replace them with godly mentors, friendships, and relationships that will draw us closer to You. I pray for the complete restoration of my older daughter’s heart, that she would turn away from this toxic relationship and return to the safety and love of her family, swiftly. May she rediscover her worth in You and reject the lies that have been spoken over her. Jesus, guard her future. Protect her credit, her finances, her relationship with me, her siblings, family, her faith, and her reputation so that nothing done in this toxic relationship will cause resentment/hate toward our supportive family and destroy what she has worked so hard to build. Father, I also bring this young man's mother before You. She is acting like my daughter's mother and interfering in ways that harm my daughter, please stop that ungodly selfish influence. She encourages my daughter to take care of her son because she does not want to deal with his rebellious behavior. I pray that You correct this situation. Lead this young man's mother to take of her responsibility for guiding and correcting her own son rather than placing that burden and undue responsibilities on my daughter which place financial hardship on her and our family because we have to help her. My daughter has incurred a lot of debt since she moved in with this young man which was initiated by this young man's mother. Lord, remove all the pride, manipulation, look down upon, and harmful words that make my daughter feel small, ashamed, or feel that my daughter has to play as if she has to be dependent on them or put our family down to make his mother feel good about guiding her. Jesus, teach this mother that my daughter is not homeless and that she has a supportive family and that my daughter needs her guidance or her approval. Father, I am concerned for my daughter's health. She already struggles with breathing, and this young man continues habits like smoking that make it worse. Jesus, protect her health and open her eyes to the harm this environment may be causing her health and open her eyes to the harm this environment may be causing her physically. Jesus, I pray that my daughter will not move deeper into this ungodly situation or become more dependent on them. Instead, lead her away from this unhealthy environment and guide her back to a place of stability, safety, love, and wisdom. Bring her back home where she can rebuild her strength, her health, and her future. Father, stop the division that has been created between my daughter and our family due to this young man's rebellious controlling behaviors. Lord, heal the hurt and restore love, communication, love, and respect. Lord, please protect me and my other children from the bullying, judgment, division, and hurtful words that have come from this situation. Give peace and strength while Your work in ways only You can, Lord. Jesus, I ask for strength for myself and for my other children. Heal the hurt we feel in this troubling situation. Saturate us with peace in our heart and protect our family division. Jesus, bless my daughter back to a path that will bless her life rather than destroy it. I declare that the enemy’s plans will not stand. Every scheme to divide, isolate, and destroy my family will fail, for the Lord fights for them (Exodus 14:14). I plead the blood of Jesus over every member of my household, covering us with Your protection, peace, and favor. May we walk in the fullness of Your blessings, and may our lives reflect Your glory to all who know us. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We stand with you before the throne of grace and we join our faith with yours for your family, for we know our Father hears the cries of His children and is mighty to save. We thank you for lifting up your household so faithfully and for pleading the precious blood of Jesus over every member, for there is power in that blood to cover, cleanse and protect.

We agree with you that no weapon formed against you and your family shall prosper, as it is written in Isaiah 54:17, and that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world in 1 John 4:4. We declare with you that He has disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in Christ in Colossians 2:15, and that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:7.

We must speak clearly and in love about what you have rightly discerned concerning your older daughter. Living together outside of marriage is not marriage in God's eyes and it dishonors Him. The Word tells us to flee sexual immorality in 1 Corinthians 6:18 and that marriage is to be held in honor among all and the marriage bed undefiled in Hebrews 13:4. What is called cohabitation is fornication and it opens the door to spiritual bondage, deception, financial hardship, exhaustion and division, just as you have seen with sorrow. A boyfriend and girlfriend relationship should be understood as courtship with the clear goal of marriage to another Christian believer, not as a casual or cohabiting arrangement. We also agree that believers are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers in 2 Corinthians 6:14, and we pray your daughters will seek godly spouses who will love them as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her in Ephesians 5:25, men who will lead in righteousness and honor the covenant of marriage as God intended.

We rebuke every spirit of division, manipulation, control, isolation, hatred, ungratefulness, word curses and witchcraft that has sought to infiltrate your home, and we stand on James 4:7 to resist the devil and watch him flee. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us in Galatians 3:13, so every generational curse and word curse is broken in the mighty name of Jesus. We agree with you that the enemy's schemes to divide your family, to isolate your older daughter, to draw your younger daughter away, and to bring shame and heaviness upon your son will not stand, for the Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace in Exodus 14:14.

We lift up your older daughter together before the Lord. Father, in the name of Jesus we ask You to open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and to remove the stubbornness, pride, shame and pressure that blinds her. Give her clarity to see the selfishness, laziness, dishonesty and rebellion in this young man, that he is not ready for marriage and is not her responsibility to care for, and that she belongs to You. Break the ungodly soul tie and the hold this young man and his mother have over her, frustrate every plan to isolate and exploit her, and turn her heart back to You and to her family as You promised to turn the hearts of the children to their fathers in Malachi 4:6. Lead her swiftly out of this toxic and unholy living arrangement with no regret but with a deep sense of freedom, safety, joy and restoration. Protect her health, especially her breathing, protect her finances, her credit, her reputation and her faith, and guard her future from further harm. Heal the worthlessness and exhaustion she has carried and help her to stop defending a false image of this man and to embrace the worth she has in Christ.

We also lift up your younger daughter. Lord, keep her steadfast and do not let her be swayed by the ungodly example before her. Protect the sweet bond she has with her siblings and protect her from divisive tactics that would lure her to live in the same compromise. Surround her with godly friendships and mentors who will encourage her to pursue purity and to wait for a spouse who honors You and values the sanctity of marriage. Keep her heart grateful and loving toward you and toward her brother.

We lift up your precious son. We thank You that he is fearfully and wonderfully made and that he is a blessing and not a burden. Cover him with Your presence as one who dwells in the shelter of the Most High in Psalm 91:1. We rebuke every word curse, every look of hatred and mockery, every spirit of exclusion and witchcraft spoken against him from this young man's mother or any other source, and we command it to flee and never return. Saturate him with Your peace, joy and unconditional love, strengthen his bond with you, his sisters and his extended family and caregivers, and replace any influence that looks down on him with those who will uplift and cherish him.

We pray for you, dear mother, for strength, courage and wisdom. The Lord knows the financial hardship and debt this situation has brought and we claim Philippians 4:19 that your God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, not for selfish gain but that your family may be a blessing and testimony of His provision. Give you discernment to set loving and biblical boundaries, to not enable what harms your daughter, and to continue to speak truth in love while entrusting her fully to Jesus. Heal the hurt in your heart and in the hearts of your other children, mend what has been torn, and restore fellowship, respect, gratefulness, love and joy in your home. Let your home be a sanctuary of God's presence where love, unity and peace reign.

Father, we ask You to deal with this young man and his mother according to Your perfect justice and mercy. Remove their ungodly and selfish influence from your daughter's life and from your family. Correct what is wrong and teach this mother to take responsibility for guiding her own son rather than placing that burden on another man's daughter. Let every manipulative and divisive word be silenced and let Your divine protection, courage and restoration reign.

We thank You that You are already working, that nothing is impossible for You, and that You desire complete restoration for this family. We plead the blood of Jesus over every member of this household and declare that Your light will shine through them to draw others to Your grace. We pray all these things in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved and through whom we have access to the Father. Amen.

We hear how heavy and exhausting this season has been for you as you carry concern for each of your children. Loving an adult daughter while watching choices that bring financial strain, division, and hurt into the whole household is painful, and we admire your steady desire to protect both your older daughter and your younger children while keeping your home peaceful.

One thought that may help as you pray is that caring well also means having clear boundaries. A boundary is like a property line that helps us name what we are responsible for and what belongs to another person, our values, time, energy, and choices. It can be loving to let your yes be yes and your no be no, even when others press for more. That might look like deciding calmly what help you can offer and what you cannot, and staying connected to your daughter without taking on responsibilities that are not yours to carry. A trusted pastor or counselor can walk with you as you sort through those lines in your specific situation.

You mentioned your daughter's breathing difficulties being worsened by smoking in the home. Alongside prayer, we encourage you to encourage her to see her doctor for care and guidance.

We are praying with you.

Father, we lift this family to You in Jesus' name. Guard each heart with Your peace, protect the younger daughter and son, and surround them with loving support. Give this mother wisdom, strength, and rest, and give her older daughter clarity, courage, and a clear path to safety and stability. Heal what has been wounded between them and draw them closer to You and to one another. Amen.

Your heavy burden for your household has been heard with much prayer and sympathy before the throne of grace, where the Lord indeed hears the cries of His children. The sorrow you describe, the division and exhaustion and financial hardship, the concern for your older daughter entangled in a living arrangement outside of marriage, for your younger daughter and for your son, is not hidden from Him who sees and knows all that touches His people.

Scripture is clear and loving in its warning that living together outside of marriage is not marriage at all, and that sexual union belongs only within the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. The Word calls us to flee sexual immorality because it sins against the body which is the temple of the Holy Ghost, bought with a price, and to be unequally yoked with unbelievers is to walk a path that leads to bondage and deception. For that reason we cannot ask God to bless or affirm what He calls sin, but we do ask Him in mercy to convict, to open eyes, and to lead to repentance and to a turning away from that which dishonors Him. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and it is His blood alone that overcomes every power of darkness, as you have rightly claimed from Colossians 2:15, and greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

Take comfort from the picture our Lord gives of the prodigal. The father saw his son while he was yet a great way off, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him with much love. That much kissing meant much forgiveness, even before the confession was fully spoken, and full restoration, so that the son was not made as a hired servant but acknowledged again as a son, and exceeding joy, before the music and dancing began. When the prodigal came to himself and said I will arise and go unto my father, the father was already watching. So it is with our God. He does not cast away a returning sinner. He restores as if the wandering had never been, with music and dancing and gladness. Your daughter, though she may now be in the far country spending her strength and incurring debt and weariness, is not beyond the reach of that same prodigal love. The Lord can give her to come to herself, to see the selfishness and laziness and dishonesty that has brought worthlessness and exhaustion, to see the disrespect and isolation and division that has wounded her family, and to arise and return to safety and stability and wisdom.

We join you in praying that the Lord will frustrate every plan and scheme that seeks to divide and isolate your family, and that He will turn hearts according to Malachi 4:6. We pray that He will remove stubbornness and pride and shame and replace them with a hunger for righteousness, that He will grant your older daughter clarity to see the red flags she has been blinded to, courage to release this ungodly entanglement, and a sense of true freedom and joy and safety in returning home, not with regret but with thankfulness for deliverance. We pray for her health, that the Lord will protect her breathing and preserve her from habits and environments that harm her body, and for her finances and credit and reputation, that what has been strained may be healed and guarded from further harm.

We pray also for your younger daughter, that the Lord will keep her steadfast in faith, not swayed by an ungodly example, but surrounded by godly friendships and mentors who will encourage her to honor the sanctity of marriage and to seek in due time, if the Lord wills, a husband who will love as Christ loves the church and lead in righteousness. We pray for your son, that he may know himself not as a burden but as a blessing, surrounded by love and acceptance, protected from mockery and word curses and every form of hatred and exclusion, saturated with the peace of God which passes all understanding to guard his heart and mind.

For this young man and his mother, we do not ask for vengeance but for the Lord's righteous correction. May the Lord convict them of division and manipulation and control, and may He save them if they will repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. And if they persist in leading your daughter astray, we ask the Lord to remove their ungodly influence swiftly from her life and from your home, and to teach each to bear their own responsibility rather than placing undue burdens upon your daughter. We ask that every generational curse and word curse and work of darkness would be broken by the name and blood of Jesus, and that your home would be a sanctuary of His presence where love and unity and peace reign.

We pray for you, that the Lord who fights for you, as Exodus 14:14 declares, will give you strength and courage and daily provision according to Philippians 4:19, not for selfish gain but for testimony and for the good of your household. Continue in faithful prayer and in family worship as God enables you, trusting not in our own power but in the look of Christ which alone can restore a wandering heart, as Peter was restored not by a cock crow alone but by the Lord's own eye upon him.

Father in heaven, we plead the precious blood of Jesus over this mother and her children. Break the hold of sin and deception, guard this family from every weapon formed against them, mend what has been torn and heal what has been wounded, and bring full restoration for Your glory. Grant repentance where there is sin, comfort where there is hurt, and let the peace of God keep every heart through Christ Jesus. Lead this daughter home to You first, and then to the fellowship of those who love her unconditionally, that she may know again her worth in You and walk in wisdom and purity. In the mighty name of Jesus, who alone saves, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer before the throne of grace has been heard, and we join you in lifting your family to the Lord who hears the cries of His children. We understand the heaviness you carry and the deep concern you have for the unity, peace and holiness of your home, and we stand with you in asking for God's protection, wisdom and restoring power.

We pray with you for complete restoration in your household, for respect, gratefulness and true fellowship to be renewed, and for every negative influence and spiritual attack to be broken by the power of Jesus Christ. The Scripture reminds us that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and that Christ has triumphed over every power of darkness. We ask the Lord to guard your home as a sanctuary of His presence, where love, unity and peace reign, and where the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guards every heart and mind.

For your older daughter, we pray with special care. We agree that living together outside of marriage does not honor God and opens the door to confusion, bondage and harm, for our bodies and our lives belong to the Lord and sexual union belongs within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. We pray that the Lord in His mercy would open her eyes to see clearly the destruction, financial hardship, exhaustion and division this relationship has brought, and that He would remove stubbornness and replace it with a hunger for righteousness and truth. We ask Jesus to show her that she is not responsible to carry this young man, that she belongs to Christ, that she is deeply loved and valued by Him and by your family, and that she does not need to earn approval through undue burdens. We pray that God would break every unhealthy hold, reveal what is selfish and exploitative, and lead her to freedom, safety, joy and stability, whether that is a return home or a clear step away from this ungodly living arrangement into a place of wisdom and health. We ask the Lord to protect her health, her finances, her reputation, her faith and her future, and to frustrate every plan or scheme intended to isolate her from those who love her and to turn her heart away from God and family.

We also lift up your younger daughter. We pray that the Lord would protect her heart from being swayed by an ungodly example, that He would guard the sweet bond she has with her siblings, and that He would surround her with godly friendships and mentors who encourage her to walk in purity and to seek a spouse who honors Christ and the sanctity of marriage. May she remain steadfast, grateful and respectful within the family, and may the Lord strengthen your fellowship together.

For your son, we thank God that he is a blessing, made in the image of God and deeply loved. We pray that the Lord would surround him with love, acceptance and protection, that he would never feel like a burden but would know his worth in Christ, and that every word of mockery, hatred, exclusion or curse spoken over him would have no place. We ask Jesus to saturate him with peace and joy, to strengthen his bonds with you, his sisters, caregivers and extended family, and to bring into his life only those who will uplift and cherish him.

For you, we pray for strength, courage and daily peace as you bear this burden. May the Lord heal the hurt, guard you from bullying and hurtful words, and provide for your financial needs according to His riches in Christ, not for selfish gain but so your family may continue to be a testimony of His provision. We ask Him to restore what has been torn, to heal what has been wounded, and to make your family a light that reflects His grace.

We also bring this young man and his mother before the Lord. We do not ask God to bless what is dishonoring to Him, but we ask Him to work with truth and mercy. We pray that God would correct what is manipulative and divisive, that He would teach each person to take responsibility for their own actions, and that every plan to divide, control and bring chaos into your family would come to nothing. We pray that the Lord would bring conviction where it is needed and draw all involved toward repentance and the knowledge of salvation through Jesus Christ alone.

We declare our trust that the Lord fights for you and that the enemy's plans to divide and destroy will not stand. May your daughter come to see her worth in Christ, may your home be restored in unconditional love and joy, and may the Lord in His perfect time provide godly spouses for your daughters, men who will love as Christ loves the church and lead with honor and faithfulness.

We will continue to pray that God gives you wisdom, keeps the door of love and truth open in your home, and guides you to wise pastoral counsel and community support as you walk this difficult road. May the Lord keep you all in His care and lead your family into wholeness in Christ.

In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Your heart for your family is evident and the Lord hears the cries of His children at the throne of grace. He sees the heaviness you carry, the division and exhaustion that has entered your home, and the love you have for each of your children. It is right to bring them before Him and to plead the covering of the blood of Jesus, for in Christ the power of darkness has been broken and overcome.

Scripture is clear that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that living together outside of that covenant is not marriage. That path does not bring blessing but opens the door to spiritual bondage, deception and deep hurt, as you have seen in the financial hardship, weariness and sense of worthlessness your older daughter is experiencing. God designed marriage to provide security, faithfulness and a covering of love, like the provision of a kinsman who brings protection and keeps a family name and inheritance in honor. When that design is set aside, what is left is often selfishness, laziness, dishonesty and a refusal to take responsibility, which only drains and devalues the one who is giving.

God is a God who calls His people back to Himself and back to family. When Jacob was far from home in a place of deception and striving, the Lord said to him, return to the land of your fathers and to your family and I will be with you and deal well with you. That promise still holds. The Lord is able to show your daughter where true safety, stability and wisdom are found, and to replace stubbornness and confusion with a hunger for righteousness and truth. Pray that her eyes would be opened to see the red flags she has missed, the disrespect and isolation, the way she has been asked to carry responsibilities that are not hers to carry, and the way she has felt pressured to defend a false image of this relationship to others. Ask that pride, shame and pressure would be lifted so she can see that she belongs to the Lord first, that she does not belong to this young man, and that she is not responsible to care for him as if she were his wife. Pray that she would be given courage to step away without regret and to find freedom, peace and joy again in a home where she is loved and supported, and where her health and future can be protected.

The burden you feel is real spiritual opposition, and Scripture teaches that God knows how to deliver the righteous even when they are vexed by the corruption around them. Yet it also warns that remaining in a compromising environment comes at great cost to a family and to the morals of children. Lot was counted righteous and God rescued him, but his choice to settle in a corrupt place cost him dearly in his family life. In the same way, a daughter who goes out and becomes entangled with those who do not share her faith and values can be drawn into folly that ought not to be done. This is why it is right to ask the Lord to frustrate every plan that seeks to divide, isolate and destroy your family, and to guard your home so that it again becomes a sanctuary of love, unity and peace. The blood of Jesus has already triumphed over every accusation and every word spoken against your children, and the peace of God can guard hearts and minds. No weapon formed against those who are in Christ will ultimately prosper, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and the Lord Himself will fight for you.

For your younger daughter, pray for steadiness. Ask the Lord to keep her heart from being swayed by an ungodly example and from seeing cohabitation as an acceptable path. Pray that she would not become ungrateful or hateful toward you or her brother, and that the sweet bond she has with her siblings would be preserved. Ask God to surround her with godly friendships and mentors who will encourage her to seek a spouse who honors the Lord and respects the covenant of marriage, and to strengthen your fellowship as a family so that divisive tactics have no place.

For your son, know that he is not a burden or an embarrassment but a blessing, fully seen and valued by God. Girls and boys alike, and every child including those with disabilities, are precious in His sight. Pray that your son would be surrounded by love, acceptance and protection, that any mockery, exclusion or hateful word spoken over him would be silenced and would never take root, and that his relationships with you, his sisters, caregivers and extended family would grow stronger. Ask the Lord to remove any influence that looks down on him and to bring those who will uplift and cherish him, and to fill him with peace, joy and the assurance of God's unconditional love.

For yourself, ask for strength and wisdom to love without enabling, to keep healthy boundaries, and to continue to speak the truth in love while trusting God to do what only He can do. It is right to pray that this young man would be confronted with his own need for responsibility and correction, and that his mother would be led to care for her own son rather than placing that burden on your daughter. You can pray for them with a desire for their good while also asking God to remove their disruptive and controlling influence from your daughter's life and to stop the financial debt, the smoking and other habits that harm her health, and the manipulation that makes her feel small or dependent.

Continue to remind the Lord of His promises as you pray, as Jacob did when he prayed, you said you would deal well with me. He has promised to provide for your needs according to His riches, to restore what has been torn, to heal what has been wounded, and to turn hearts back toward one another. Pray that your home would know restoration of respect, gratefulness and fellowship, that financial provision would come not for selfish gain but so you can be a blessing, and that in time the Lord would bring godly spouses for your daughters who will love them as Christ loves the church and honor their upbringing.

We join you in declaring that the plans of the enemy to divide and isolate will not stand. We plead the protection of Christ over every member of your household, that your daughter would be guided away from this toxic and ungodly living arrangement and back to safety and wisdom, that your family would be kept from bullying and hurtful words, and that love, communication and respect would be restored. May the Lord guard your daughter's health, finances, faith and relationships, and may He saturate you and your children with His peace that surpasses all understanding.
