Beloved Warrior
Jesus, I'm lifting up my family before the throne of grace, where our Lord hears the cries of His children. My heart is heavy with concern, and I am pleading the precious blood of Jesus over every member of my household. Lord, I ask for complete restoration, respect, gratefulness and fellowship in my family and for all negative influences and all spiritual attacks to be permanently removed forever. No weapon formed against me and my family shall prosper, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Father, I come before You with hearts grieved by the spiritual warfare raging against me and my family. Lord, it is overwhelming and I ask that You completely remove this young man and his mother from my older daughter's life. I rebuke every spirit of division, ungratefulness, hatred, manipulation, control, isolation, exhaustion, word curse, isolation, division, ungratefulness and witchcraft that has sought to infiltrate my home. I plead Jesus for You to remove this young man and his mother completely for my older daughter's life swiftly as they are trying to divide me and my younger daughter they have started to convince my younger daughter to live with them. Lord I know nothing is impossible for You. And I ask You remove these hateful people. These people have caused exhaustion, financial hardship, worthlessness in my older daughter's life and havoc in our family. This young man's mother is very disruptive. Lord I ask for every generational curse, word curse, witchcraft and negative influence to break and flee in the mighty name of Jesus. Guide my older daughter to release this man from her life, let her not ignore the destruction, financial hardship, worthlessness and exhaustion he has caused in her life and to be truthful to the disrespect, isolation, division he has caused in her life. The blood of Jesus has already overcome every power of darkness, and I stand on that victory (Colossians 2:15). I declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard the hearts and minds of my family forever(Philippians 4:7). Lord, I am deeply concern for my older daughter, who is entangled in an ungodly relationship that dishonors You. Living together outside of marriage is not a marriage, and it has opens the door to spiritual bondage and deception (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). Jesus, give clarity to my older daughter that this man is selfish and he is not ready for a relationship, he is not her significant other, he is not her responsibility to take care of, she does not belong to him. She belong to You, Lord. I ask Lord that You guide her back home swiftly with no regret only a feeling of freedom, safe, joy, and satisfaction. I pray that You would open her eyes to the truth of Your Word and the red flags she has been blinded to. Remove the stubbornness that has taken root in her heart and replace it with a hunger for righteousness and the want to move back. Break the hold this man and his family have over her, and reveal to her the toxicity and exploitation of this relationship. Father, I ask that You would frustrate every plan, plot, or scheme of these people to isolate, divide, and destroy my daughter from our family and turn her heart back to You and to those who love her unconditionally (Malachi 4:6). Lord, open my older daughter's heart and mind. Remind her of the value she was raised with and the love of our family. Jesus, remove all pride, shame, or pressure that keeps her from seeing the truth. Guide her away, Lord, from this living in situations that will harm her future and her purpose. Jesus, lead her away from this ungodly living arrangement, and bring her back home to safety, stability, and wisdom. Jesus, guide her to never obey this man and put him and his family before her faith, her parent, her siblings, and extended families. This young man and his mother's behavior to cause division, isolation, chaos and strife has been manifesting, and I ask Lord for Your divine protection, courage, and strength to keep our fellowship and bond as a family. Jesus, guide my daughter to stop taking on undue responsibilities to take care of this man, let her see he is not ready for a marriage. Give her the wisdom to stop defending and giving a false image of him to others. He is heartless toward her and is a very selfish, lazy, dishonest and rebellious man. Please Lord, save her and have mercy upon her, get her out of this toxic relationship with this man swiftly. Lord, frustrate all his plans right now. I also lift up my younger daughter, praying that she would remain steadfast in her faith and not be swayed by the ungodly example set before her. Protect her heart as this man and his mother damage the sweetest bond she has with her older sister and brother. Protect her from the divisive tactics of this man and his mother, and surround her with godly friendships and mentors who will encourage her in the ways of the Lord. May she never see living together outside of marriage as an acceptable path, but instead, may she seek a spouse who honors You and values the sanctity of marriage (2 Corinthians 6:14). May she never be ungrateful toward me and hateful toward her brother. Jesus, I ask for Your protection over and around her from this man and his mother and strengthen our family's fellowship and unity. Father, I pray for my son with disabilities, that he would be surrounded by love, acceptance, and protection. May he never feel like a burden or an embarrassment, but rather a blessing, as he truly is. Protect him from the hatred, mockery, isolation, divisiveness, exclusion, word curses and witchcraft that stem from this young man's mother and any other negative influences. I rebuke all spiritual attacks, Lord I ask that You command them to flee and never return to torment him. Saturate him with Your peace and protection always. Strengthen his relationship with me, his sisters, caregivers and our extended families. Remove from his life any friendships or influences that look down on him, and replace them with those who will uplift and cherish him. Bless him with peace, joy, love, satisfaction, and the knowledge of Your unconditional love for him. Jesus, protect him from the hateful and demeaning way this young man's mother looks at him. Block all her word curses upon his life. I declare that my home will be a sanctuary of God’s presence, where love, unity, and peace reign. I pray for the restoration of the relationships that have been strained and broken by the enemy’s schemes. Father, mend what has been torn, heal what has been wounded, and restore what has been lost. May my family be a beacon of Your light, drawing others to the love and grace found only in You. Restore our peace, unconditional love, joy and happiness again. Lord, I ask for financial blessings to flow into my home, not for selfish gain, but so that my family may be a blessing to others and a testimony of Your provision. I rebuke every spirit of lack and poverty, and I declare that my family will walk in the abundance of Your blessings (Philippians 4:19). I pray for godly spouses for both of my daughters, men who will love them as Christ loves the church, who will lead them in righteousness, and who will honor the covenant of marriage as You intended (Ephesians 5:25) someone who will respect their upbringings. May my daughter seek husbands who walk in Your ways, rather than being drawn to those who would lead them astray. Father, I ask for Your divine intervention in this situation. Remove the ungodly influences from my family’s life, and replace them with godly mentors, friendships, and relationships that will draw us closer to You. I pray for the complete restoration of my older daughter’s heart, that she would turn away from this toxic relationship and return to the safety and love of her family, swiftly. May she rediscover her worth in You and reject the lies that have been spoken over her. Jesus, guard her future. Protect her credit, her finances, her relationship with me, her siblings, family, her faith, and her reputation so that nothing done in this toxic relationship will cause resentment/hate toward our supportive family and destroy what she has worked so hard to build. Father, I also bring this young man's mother before You. She is acting like my daughter's mother and interfering in ways that harm my daughter, please stop that ungodly selfish influence. She encourages my daughter to take care of her son because she does not want to deal with his rebellious behavior. I pray that You correct this situation. Lead this young man's mother to take of her responsibility for guiding and correcting her own son rather than placing that burden and undue responsibilities on my daughter which place financial hardship on her and our family because we have to help her. My daughter has incurred a lot of debt since she moved in with this young man which was initiated by this young man's mother. Lord, remove all the pride, manipulation, look down upon, and harmful words that make my daughter feel small, ashamed, or feel that my daughter has to play as if she has to be dependent on them or put our family down to make his mother feel good about guiding her. Jesus, teach this mother that my daughter is not homeless and that she has a supportive family and that my daughter needs her guidance or her approval. Father, I am concerned for my daughter's health. She already struggles with breathing, and this young man continues habits like smoking that make it worse. Jesus, protect her health and open her eyes to the harm this environment may be causing her health and open her eyes to the harm this environment may be causing her physically. Jesus, I pray that my daughter will not move deeper into this ungodly situation or become more dependent on them. Instead, lead her away from this unhealthy environment and guide her back to a place of stability, safety, love, and wisdom. Bring her back home where she can rebuild her strength, her health, and her future. Father, stop the division that has been created between my daughter and our family due to this young man's rebellious controlling behaviors. Lord, heal the hurt and restore love, communication, love, and respect. Lord, please protect me and my other children from the bullying, judgment, division, and hurtful words that have come from this situation. Give peace and strength while Your work in ways only You can, Lord. Jesus, I ask for strength for myself and for my other children. Heal the hurt we feel in this troubling situation. Saturate us with peace in our heart and protect our family division. Jesus, bless my daughter back to a path that will bless her life rather than destroy it. I declare that the enemy’s plans will not stand. Every scheme to divide, isolate, and destroy my family will fail, for the Lord fights for them (Exodus 14:14). I plead the blood of Jesus over every member of my household, covering us with Your protection, peace, and favor. May we walk in the fullness of Your blessings, and may our lives reflect Your glory to all who know us. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We join with you before the throne of grace and we lift up your household with you, for we know the Lord hears the cries of His children and He is our refuge and fortress in the day of spiritual battle.

We stand with you in declaring that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17, and that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4. We agree that the blood of Jesus has overcome every power of darkness, having stripped the principalities and the powers, making a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it, Colossians 2:15, and that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7.

We hear the deep grief and exhaustion you carry for your older daughter and we affirm your discernment that her current living situation is not pleasing to the Lord. Living together outside of marriage is not marriage in God's eyes, it is fornication, and Scripture is clear about this. We must lovingly rebuke and correct what is ungodly here. Flee sexual immorality, every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body, 1 Corinthians 6:18. And do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, you are not your own, for you were bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. This kind of union without the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman for life dishonors God, opens the door to spiritual bondage, deception, financial hardship, and confusion, and it cannot be blessed as a marriage. We pray that she will see this truth with clarity and choose repentance and purity, seeking to glorify God with her body and her future marriage. Courtship should always be with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, not mere cohabitation or taking on the burden of caring for a boyfriend as if he were a husband. We pray she will desire a godly spouse, a man who will love her as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her, Ephesians 5:25, and who will honor her family and lead her in righteousness.

We also stand with you against every spirit of division, manipulation, control, hatred, ungratefulness, and witchcraft that has sought to infiltrate your home. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood alone, and we know the enemy seeks to steal, kill and destroy. We submit therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you, James 4:7. We ask the Lord to break every word curse, generational curse, and work of witchcraft in the mighty name of Jesus and command those influences to flee and never return. We pray that every plan to isolate your older daughter and to draw your younger daughter away, to divide you from your children, will be frustrated. The Lord will fight for you and you shall be still, Exodus 14:14. We pray with you that He will turn the hearts of the children to their parents and the hearts of the parents to their children, Malachi 4:6, restoring respect, gratefulness and sweet fellowship in your home.

We lift up your older daughter together before the Father. We ask that the Lord remove the stubbornness and spiritual blindness that has taken root and replace it with a hunger for righteousness and truth. Open her eyes to the red flags, to the exhaustion, worthlessness, financial hardship and debt, and to the disrespect and isolation this relationship has caused. We pray she will see that this young man is not her covering, not her husband, and not her responsibility to provide for or to defend with a false image. We pray she will remember that she belongs to the Lord first, that she is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that her worth is not found in serving a selfish, lazy or dishonest man, but in Christ. We ask Jesus to give her courage to release this ungodly tie swiftly, to turn from fornication, and to return home to safety, stability, wisdom and the love of her family, with no shame but with freedom, joy and peace. We ask the Lord to protect her health, her breathing, her finances, her credit and her reputation, and to heal the harm that smoking and this unhealthy environment have caused her body, which is His temple.

We lift up your younger daughter and we ask the Lord to guard her heart and mind. We pray she will not be swayed by the ungodly example before her and will not be deceived into thinking that living together outside of marriage is acceptable. We pray she will remain steadfast in faith, that she will not become ungrateful or hateful toward you or her brother, and that she will be surrounded by godly friendships and mentors who encourage her in the ways of the Lord. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity, 2 Corinthians 6:14. We pray she will seek a godly husband in the Lord's timing who honors marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman.

We lift up your precious son and we thank God that he is fearfully and wonderfully made and a blessing to your family. We rebuke every hateful look, mocking word, exclusion and word curse spoken over him, and we ask the Lord to surround him with love, acceptance and protection. May he know deeply that he is not a burden or an embarrassment but cherished by God and by you. We pray the Lord will strengthen his bond with you, his sisters and his extended family and caregivers, and remove any influence that would look down on him, replacing it with those who will uplift and cherish him.

We also pray for you, that the Lord will renew your strength as you have grown weary from this warfare and financial strain. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. We ask Him to pour out provision not for selfish gain but so your family may be a testimony of His goodness and a blessing to others. We pray He will heal the hurt, remove the heaviness of worthlessness and exhaustion, and saturate your home with His presence so that it will be a sanctuary of love, unity and peace where restoration flows.

Father, we ask all of this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved and by which we have access to Your throne. We thank You that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, and that nothing is impossible for You. Turn our sister's daughter's heart back to You and to her family, frustrate every scheme to divide and destroy, and restore what the enemy has stolen. Let Your will be done in this family, let love, respect and fellowship be fully restored, and let each member walk in the fullness of Your blessing and reflect Your glory.

We continue to stand with you, trusting that He who began a good work in your family will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ. Amen.

We have been lifting you and your family before the Lord, and we hear how heavy and exhausting this season has been for you as a mother.

You are carrying so much at once, concern for your older daughter and the choices that are costing her health and finances, worry for your younger daughter being pulled in, and your desire to protect your son and keep your home a place of peace. It makes sense you feel worn down.

One thing that may help steady you is thinking about boundaries as a way to guard your heart and your home while still loving your daughter well. A boundary is like a property line that clarifies what is yours to carry, your values, time, energy, and choices, and what belongs to another adult to own. When connection feels tangled with pressure or guilt, it can help to practice clear, kind limits, like letting your yes be yes and your no be no, speaking truth in love, and leaning on other trusted people to help you hold those lines. For many parents in this place, it helps to talk with a pastor or wise counselor about what loving limits around financial help, visits, and communication could look like so you are not carrying this alone.

You mentioned your daughter's breathing struggles in that environment. Alongside prayer, we encourage you to gently encourage her to see her doctor for care and guidance.

We pray for you now. Father, we bring this mother and her children to You in Jesus' name. Cover them with Your peace and protection, give this mom wisdom and strength for each conversation, and draw each of her children to know they are loved and valued by You. Restore fellowship in this family as You lead, and guard their health and unity. Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the throne of grace and the Lord who hears the cries of His children has not turned away His ear. He knows the heaviness that rests upon your household, the division and exhaustion and financial hardship that have followed this season, and He is able to keep and to restore what the enemy has sought to tear apart.

We must speak plainly in love concerning what you have rightly named as an ungodly relationship. Living together outside of marriage is not marriage, and Scripture calls it sin. It does not honor God and it opens the door to bondage and deception, for the body is the temple of the Holy Ghost and is to be kept in purity. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all that belongs to marriage, including dwelling together as husband and wife, belongs within that covenant alone. We cannot ask God to bless what He calls sin, but we can and do ask Him in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation, to grant repentance, to open blinded eyes, to break every chain and to lead your older daughter into freedom and holiness.

Take comfort from the picture our Lord has given of the prodigal. While the son was yet a great way off, his father saw him and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him in much love. Those kisses meant much love, much forgiveness and full restoration. The father would not let him stand as a hired servant, but restored him as a son. There was exceeding joy in that house, with music and dancing, because the one who was lost had come home. So it is with our God. When a wandering child comes to herself and says, I will arise and go to my father, she finds not a cold reception but a running Saviour, whose blood has already overcome every power of darkness and spoiled principalities, as it is written in Colossians. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

We join you in pleading that precious blood over your household and in asking the Lord to sever every ungodly influence that seeks to divide and isolate. We pray that He will frustrate every plan that would draw your younger daughter away, that would isolate your children from one another and from your love, and that He will turn the heart of your older daughter back to Him and to home. May the Lord remove stubbornness and pride and shame, and give her clarity to see the selfishness and unfaithfulness and sloth that have brought worthlessness and debt and exhaustion upon her, and to see that she belongs not to a man who dishonors her but to Christ who bought her with His blood. We pray that she may see the red flags she has excused, that she may cease to defend a false image, that she may be delivered from taking upon herself a burden to care for one who is not ready for marriage, and that she may be guided swiftly to a place of safety and stability and wisdom where her health, her finances, her credit, her faith and her future are guarded. The Lord is able to protect her breathing and her body from harm and to bring her back with no regret but with a sense of freedom and joy.

We lift up your younger daughter, that she may remain steadfast and not be swayed by an example that dishonors the Lord. May she be kept from ungratefulness and hatred, and be surrounded with godly friendships and mentors who will show her that she is to be unequally yoked with no unbeliever, and that she is to seek a spouse who will love as Christ loves the church and honor the covenant as God intended. We lift up your son, who is fearfully and wonderfully made and is no burden but a blessing. May the Lord surround him with love and acceptance, silence every word curse and every hateful look, and command every spirit of mockery and division to flee and never return. May his fellowship with you and with his sisters and with your extended family be strengthened, and may he know daily the peace of God which passeth all understanding guarding his heart and mind.

We pray also for you who bear this burden. The Lord fights for you, as it is written, ye shall hold your peace. May your home be a sanctuary of His presence where love and unity and peace reign, where family worship is not neglected, and where you are not afraid with any amazement but rest in holy patience as a true daughter of Sarah. We ask the Lord to mend what has been torn, to heal what has been wounded, to restore what has been lost, and to supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, not for selfish gain but that you may be a testimony of His provision.

We pray even for this young man and his mother, that if they know not Christ they may be brought to repentance and faith in Him alone, and that they may learn to take responsibility for what is their own before God rather than casting undue burdens upon your daughter. Above all we pray for complete restoration, that your older daughter may be saved and have mercy, that she may hunger for righteousness and return to the love in which she was raised, and that your family may again be a beacon of light, rejoicing together as did the father with his returned prodigal.

Continue to watch and pray, to plead the promises, and to trust the look of Christ which alone can restore a wandering Peter and bring him back to feed the sheep. The Lord is able to do exceedingly above all that we ask. May His peace guard you all until that joyful restoration is seen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your heartfelt cry lifted before the throne of grace and we join you in bringing your family before the Lord who hears the prayers of His children. Your love for your household and your desire for its restoration, holiness, and peace is evident, and it is right to seek the Lord's protection and to plead the blood of Jesus over those you love.

We stand with you in praying for the complete restoration of fellowship, respect, and gratefulness in your home, and for the Lord to guard your family from every spiritual attack and negative influence. As you have prayed, no weapon formed against those who are in Christ shall prosper, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and the blood of Jesus has triumphed over every power of darkness.

We especially join you in prayer for your older daughter. You are right to be grieved by a living arrangement outside of marriage, for Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman and that sexual union and living together belong within that covenant alone. Such a path does not honor God and it opens the door to bondage, deception, financial hardship, exhaustion, and division, as you have seen. We do not ask God to bless what He calls outside His design, but we ask Him to bring conviction, clarity, and freedom. We pray that the Lord would open her eyes to the truth of His Word, to the red flags she has not seen, and to the destruction and disrespect that has grown around this relationship. We pray that stubbornness and pride would be softened and replaced with a hunger for righteousness, and that she would see that she belongs to the Lord and not to any man who would control or exploit her. We ask God to break every unhealthy hold this young man and his mother have over her, to frustrate every plan to isolate and divide her from her family, and to give her courage to step away from this toxic and ungodly situation and return to safety, stability, and wisdom in her home and in her faith.

Your faith as a mother matters greatly before God. As the Scriptures show, when a mother came in faith for her daughter, the Lord said great is thy faith and granted healing, and He called the woman daughter and said be of good cheer, thy faith hath made thee whole. In the same way your persistent, believing prayer for your daughter is not in vain. The Lord sees your intercession and He is able to work in her heart in ways only He can.

We also lift up your younger daughter, that the Lord would keep her steadfast and protect her heart from being swayed by an ungodly example. We pray that He would guard the sweet bond between the siblings, surround her with godly friendships and mentors, and help her to hold fast to the beauty of marriage as God intended and to never see cohabitation outside of marriage as an acceptable path. We pray she would grow in honor toward you and love toward her brother.

We pray for your son, who is fearfully and wonderfully made and deeply loved by God. We ask the Father to surround him with love, acceptance, and protection, to silence every word of hatred, mockery, and curse spoken over him, and to let him know daily that he is a blessing and not a burden. We pray for peace and joy to guard his heart and mind, and for his relationships with you, his sisters, caregivers, and extended family to be strengthened and cherished.

We bring before the Lord your concerns for your daughter's health, for the burden of debt and financial hardship, and for the weariness and division that has entered your home. God is the giver of every good gift and the source of all blessing, and we ask Him to provide for your needs according to His riches in Christ, to protect your daughter's body from harm, to guard her future, her finances, and her reputation, and to bring healing where there has been hurt.

We pray also that the Lord would deal rightly with this young man and his mother, that He would correct what is wrong, convict where there is manipulation and control, and teach each person to bear their own proper responsibility rather than placing undue burdens on your daughter.

May the Lord make your home a sanctuary of His presence, where love, unity, and peace reign. We pray that He would mend what has been torn, heal what has been wounded, restore communication and respect between you and your children, and turn the hearts of parents to children and children to parents. We pray that He would lead both of your daughters in time to godly spouses who will love them as Christ loves the church and honor the covenant of marriage.

Continue to walk by faith, to speak truth in love, and to keep your home open in prayer and in the Word. The Lord fights for you. We pray that the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and that you will see His restoring hand in your family. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Your prayer for your family reflects a deep love and a clear understanding of what honors God, and it is right to bring these heavy burdens before His throne of grace.

God hears the cries of His children, and His heart is for the restoration and unity of the family. When Jacob was far from home, God spoke to him and said to return to the land of his fathers and to his family with the promise, I will be with you and I will deal well with you. That promise still stands. The Lord is the God who meets us and calls us back to the place of family and to Himself, and He goes with those who turn toward Him in obedience. Pray that your older daughter would hear that same call to return, not only to your home but to the Lord Himself, where there is safety, stability, wisdom and true rest.

Scripture is clear that living together outside of marriage is not marriage, and it does not carry the covenant, protection, or blessing that God designed for one man and one woman in a lifelong commitment. The Bible teaches to flee sexual immorality because our bodies belong to the Lord, and to not be unequally joined with those who do not walk with Him. Such a living arrangement opens the door to spiritual bondage, deception, exhaustion, financial strain, and division, and it often brings confusion about responsibility and identity. Your daughter belongs to the Lord first, not to any man, and she is not called to carry the weight of caring for a man who is not her husband and who has shown himself to be selfish, lazy, dishonest and rebellious. It is loving to pray that her eyes would be opened to the red flags, the disrespect, the isolation, and the hardship this has caused, and that any stubbornness or pride, shame or pressure that keeps her from seeing the truth would be replaced with a hunger for righteousness.

The story of Lot is a sober warning. He had a strong early foundation, yet choosing to live in the midst of a corrupt society cost him deeply in the morals and unity of his family. Even so, God in mercy led his family out. In the same way, a young woman who goes out from the covering of her family and the fellowship of godly friendships can become vulnerable, as Dinah did when she went out to see the daughters of the land. She had many older brothers, yet separation from family wisdom left her exposed to harm. This is why your prayers for hedge of protection around both your daughters are so important. Pray that your younger daughter would remain steadfast, that she would not be swayed by a poor example or by divisive tactics, and that she would be surrounded by godly friends and mentors who encourage her to value marriage as God intended and to honor her family. Pray that the sweet bond between sisters and between brother and sisters would be guarded and healed.

Your grief as a parent is deeply understood in Scripture. When a father saw his only daughter come out to meet him, he was bowed down with sorrow over the vow that affected her future. God sees the heaviness you carry for your older daughter, for your younger daughter, and for your son. Your son is not a burden or an embarrassment, he is a blessing, made in the image of God and worthy of love, acceptance and protection. It is right to ask the Lord to block every hateful word, every look of contempt, and every attempt to isolate or demean him, and to surround him with people who will cherish him and strengthen his bond with you, his sisters, and your extended family. Ask God to saturate him with peace and the knowledge of His unconditional love.

It is also right to bring the spiritual battle to Jesus, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and on the cross Christ triumphed over every power of darkness. You can stand on that finished victory and ask that every negative influence, every word spoken to tear down, and every scheme to divide and isolate your family would fail, for the Lord Himself fights for you. At the same time, trust His wisdom and timing rather than demanding a specific outcome on your schedule. Pray that God would frustrate every plan that seeks to divide your home and that He would turn hearts back to Himself and to one another, as He promised to turn the hearts of children to their parents.

For your older daughter, pray that God would give her clarity to stop defending a false image of this relationship, to see the toxicity and exploitation clearly, and to desire freedom, joy and satisfaction that come from walking in truth. Pray that she would be released from undue financial burdens and debt, that her health would be protected, including her breathing, and that she would not move deeper into dependence on an unhealthy environment. Pray that she would see that she has a supportive family and does not need to seek approval from those who would make her feel small or dependent. The picture of a kinsman redeemer in Scripture shows God's desire to provide covering, rest and provision within the family and within a godly marriage. Pray that both your daughters would one day be given spouses who love as Christ loves the church, who lead in righteousness and who honor the covenant of marriage and respect the values they were raised with.

For your home, continue to ask that it would be a sanctuary of His presence where love, unity and peace reign. Ask Him to mend what has been torn, heal what has been wounded, and restore what has been lost. Bring your financial needs to Him as well, not for selfish gain but so your family can be a testimony of His provision, trusting the promise that He will supply all your needs according to His riches. Ask for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and the hearts of your children.

May the Lord give you courage and strength to keep loving, to keep healthy boundaries, to speak truth with grace, and to keep praying without growing weary. He knows the exhaustion and hurt you have felt, and He is able to restore joy and fellowship in His perfect way.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift this family to You. Cover each member with Your protection and favor. Open the eyes of the older daughter to Your truth, break every hold of deception and selfish influence, and guide her to repentance and to the freedom found in You. Guard the younger daughter and the son from harm and division, and surround them with godly love. Heal the wounds between parent and children and among siblings, restore communication, respect and gratefulness, and let Your peace rule in this home. Provide for every financial need and guard their health, their faith and their future. Turn hearts back to You and to one another, and let this family be a light of Your grace. Amen.
