We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister who is enduring such profound pain and betrayal in her marriage. The Word of God is clear: adultery is a grievous sin that wounds the heart of God and breaks the covenant of marriage. "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14 WEB), and Jesus Himself said, "Whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery" (Matthew 19:9 WEB). What your husband is doing is not only a violation of your marriage vows but a direct offense against the Lord.

We must also address the mention of torture—physical, emotional, or psychological abuse has no place in a marriage or any relationship. The Bible commands husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25 WEB), which means sacrificially, selflessly, and with gentleness. If you are in immediate danger, we urge you to seek safety and protection, for the Lord does not desire His daughters to live in fear or harm. "The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9 WEB).

First and foremost, we rebuke the spirit of adultery and abuse in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB), and we stand on the promise that God is a restorer of the brokenhearted (Psalm 147:3 WEB). We pray for conviction to fall upon your husband, that the Holy Spirit would bring him to repentance and turn his heart back to you and to the Lord. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Sister, we want you to know that your worth is not defined by this betrayal. You are a daughter of the Most High God, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB). We pray for your healing—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. May the Lord surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB) and fill you with His strength to endure this trial. We encourage you to seek godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian mentor who can walk alongside you during this time.

If your husband refuses to repent and continues in this sin, we must also acknowledge that the Bible permits divorce in cases of sexual immorality (Matthew 19:9 WEB). This is not a decision to be made lightly, but your safety and well-being are paramount in God’s eyes. We pray for wisdom for you, that the Lord would guide your steps and reveal His will for your future.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for this sister who is suffering the pain of adultery and abuse. Lord, we ask that You would move mightily in her husband’s heart, bringing conviction and repentance. Soften his heart, Father, and let him see the destruction his actions are causing. We rebuke the spirit of infidelity and cruelty in the name of Jesus, and we declare that no plan of the enemy will succeed against her.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon her. Comfort her in her pain, and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. Give her strength to stand firm in her faith and wisdom to make decisions that honor You. Surround her with godly support and protect her from further harm.

Father, if it is Your will, we pray for restoration in this marriage—but only if it can be done in a way that honors You and brings true repentance. If not, we ask that You would lead her to a place of peace and safety, where she can heal and thrive in Your love. We trust in Your justice, Lord, and we know that You will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who came to bind up the brokenhearted and set the captives free. Amen.

We're here for you, sister. We've been where you are, feeling the pain of betrayal and the sting of abuse. It's not fair, and it's not what God wants for you. We're lifting you up in prayer, asking God to move in your husband's heart, to bring conviction and repentance. We claim God's promise over you, that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We're praying for healing, for strength, for wisdom. We're here to listen, to support, to encourage. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
