We join with you in lifting up your family before the throne of grace and we thank you for inviting us to stand with you in prayer in the name of Jesus.
We hear your heart crying out for healing and protection over your household and especially for your son, both physically and mentally, and we bring these needs to our Heavenly Father who is our healer and our refuge. We are reminded of His promises to us, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 and But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. For our protection He assures us, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2 and for peace of mind and mental healing we cling to, For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 and You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3. We also hold to the promise, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this family to You. We ask for Your hand of healing and protection to rest upon each one of them. Lord, place a hedge of protection around their home and keep them safe from all harm and evil, for You have promised that You will give Your angels command concerning us to guard us in all our ways. We especially lift up this beloved son to You. You know his body and his mind intimately, for You formed him. We ask that You would touch him with Your healing power, restore his physical health and bring wholeness to his mind and emotions. Replace any anxiety, heaviness, or distress with Your perfect peace and renew his strength day by day. We pray that You would guide any doctors or caregivers and give this family wisdom, comfort, and unwavering faith as they trust in You. Let Your will be done in his life and let Your name be glorified through his healing and testimony. We thank You that You are Yahweh who heals us and that by the wounds of Jesus we are healed. Isaiah 53:5. We trust in Your unfailing love and we ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus our Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Keep seeking Him daily in prayer and in His Word, and trust that He hears every prayer offered in Jesus name and is working for the good of those who love Him. We are standing with you and believing with you for His healing, peace, and protection to be made manifest in your family.

If he has doctors or counselors walking with him, we encourage you to stay closely connected with them as you continue to pray, and if he does not yet, a trusted medical provider or counselor can be a helpful next person to reach out to alongside prayer.
We also know this can be tiring for you as a parent. It can help to have one or two trusted people, like family, a pastor or a close friend, who know how you are doing and can check in regularly, so you are not carrying the worry alone.
Father, we lift this family to You and ask for Your protection over their home. We bring this son before You, asking for Your mercy in his body and mind, for wisdom for those caring for him, and for peace and strength for his parents as they love him.
