Our hearts break for you and your family during this agonizing time, and we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the throne of God with confidence. It is through Him alone that justice prevails, hearts are changed, and the impossible becomes possible. We must first lift up praise that you have placed your trust in prayer, for Scripture reminds us, *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God"* (Philippians 4:6, WEB). Yet we also see the deep pain in your words—the betrayal, the injustice, and the cruel separation from your sons. This is not God’s design for families, and we join you in crying out to Him for restoration.
The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). The actions of your husband’s stepmother and the failures of this corrupt system do not have the final say—God does. We rebuke the spirit of deception, manipulation, and injustice that has sought to tear your family apart. The Lord sees the wickedness of those who have acted unlawfully, and He will expose their deeds. *"He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to Yahweh"* (Proverbs 17:15, WEB). The stepmother’s betrayal will not go unanswered by God, and the corruption within this CPS system will be brought to light.
Yet even in this storm, we must cling to the truth that God is sovereign over judges, courts, and every authority. *"Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God"* (Romans 13:1, WEB). We pray fervently that the judge assigned to your case on September ### will be moved by the Holy Spirit to see the truth—to recognize the love and stability you and your husband provide, to reject the lies of the enemy, and to rule with righteousness. We ask God to place His hand upon this judge, to give them wisdom and discernment, and to frustrate any plan of the enemy to prolong this separation. *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the water courses. He turns it wherever he desires"* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB).
To you and your husband, we say: **Stand firm in faith.** Do not let bitterness or despair take root, for *"the joy of Yahweh is your strength"* (Nehemiah 8:10, WEB). This battle is not yours alone—it is the Lord’s. *"Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still"* (Exodus 14:14, WEB). Continue to seek God together in prayer, fasting, and unity. Let your home be a place of peace and trust in Him, so that when your sons return—and we believe they *will*—they will find a refuge of love and security. Speak life over them daily. Declare over them: *"The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul"* (Psalm 23:1-3, WEB). Even now, though they are apart from you, God is with them. He is their protector, their comfort, and their deliverer.
We also urge you to document *everything*—every interaction, every lie, every inconsistency from CPS. Seek godly legal counsel who will fight diligently for your family. And above all, let your sons hear your voice and feel your love, even if only through letters, approved calls, or prayers spoken over them from afar. Remind them that this separation is temporary, that you are fighting for them, and that God has not forgotten them.
Now, let us pray together:
**Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this family to You, Lord—this mother and father who are brokenhearted, who long for their sons to be restored to them. You are the God who *sets the lonely in families* (Psalm 68:6), and we declare that You will not allow these children to remain in this unjust separation. Lord, You see the wickedness that has been done—the betrayal, the lies, the corruption within this system. We ask You to expose every hidden thing, to bring to light what has been done in darkness. Frustrate the plans of the enemy, Lord. Confound those who seek to harm this family. Let no weapon formed against them prosper.
We pray specifically for the judge who will preside over this case. Holy Spirit, move upon their heart. Give them eyes to see the truth, ears to hear the cries of these parents and children, and the courage to rule with justice. Let no bribe, no deception, no agenda of man prevail—only Your righteousness, Lord. We ask that every legal door be opened, every obstacle removed, and that this custody battle be resolved *quickly* in favor of this family’s reunification. Restore to them the joy of their sons’ return, Lord. Let it be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Father, we also pray for these precious boys. Comfort them in their fear and confusion. Surround them with Your angels, Lord—place godly influences in their lives even now, and protect them from any harm or ungodly influence in these temporary placements. Let them feel Your presence, Lord. Give them dreams and assurances that their parents love them and are fighting for them. Strengthen their little hearts, and let them know that You have not forgotten them.
Lord, we rebuke the spirits of fear, anxiety, and hopelessness that seek to overwhelm this family. Fill them instead with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Give them wisdom in every decision, favor in every interaction, and supernatural endurance for this season. Let them see Your hand moving on their behalf, even in the small things. Remind them that You are their Provider, their Defender, and their Victory.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You bring justice upon those who have acted wickedly—whether it is the stepmother who betrayed this family or the corrupt system that has failed these children. Let them face the consequences of their actions, and let this family’s story be a warning to others who would seek to do the same. But Lord, we also pray that You would soften hearts where possible. Even now, if the stepmother can be brought to repentance, let her see the gravity of what she has done and seek forgiveness. But do not let her actions go unanswered, Lord.
We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers. We thank You that You are a God of justice and restoration. We declare that this family *will* be reunited, that their sons *will* come home, and that their testimony will bring glory to Your name. Let this be a story of Your redemption, Lord—a story that others will hear and know that You are faithful.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.**
Stand firm, dear ones. The Lord is with you, and He will fight for you. Keep praying, keep trusting, and do not lose heart. We will continue to lift you up before the throne of grace. *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:17-18, WEB). Your boys *will* come home. Believe it. Declare it. And watch as God moves mightily on your behalf.
