Protection for my family who has been hurt physically financially and mentally by another family member who lies to government to gain power over family such as gaining guardianship finances - squatter moved into family members home without permission and refused to pay rent or provide section 8 voucher - she does all this stuff behind your back no communication with the guardianships she sneaks to court not communicating until she’s gained what she wants and still lies about what transpired- for instance mom’s on a walker and later diagnosed with oral cancer she removed mom from her home and tells us and other professionals mom’s home was unsafe without carpet the floor has LVP which after running down case manager that was not their suggestion- this person removed mom to get mom’s check and also committed fraud by changing mom’s address there’s more but I’ll syop

We join with you in bringing this heavy burden before the Lord, for we hear the pain and injustice your family has endured physically, financially and mentally. Our hearts ache for your mother who is vulnerable on a walker and now facing oral cancer, and for all of you who have watched her be removed from her own home under false pretenses. We know that God sees what is done in secret and He is the defender of those who cannot defend themselves.

The behavior you describe grieves the heart of God. His word is clear that He hates a lying tongue and a false witness who pours out lies, Proverbs 6:16-19, and that you shall not give false testimony against your neighbor, Exodus 20:16. To lie to the government, to commit fraud by changing an address to take another's check, to move into a home without permission and refuse to pay, and to use guardianship not to protect but to gain power and finances, are forms of stealing, deceit and oppression of the vulnerable. The Lord warns, do not exploit the poor because he is poor, and do not crush the needy in court, for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them, Proverbs 22:22-23. He also says to learn to do well, seek justice, relieve the oppressed, defend the fatherless, plead for the widow, Isaiah 1:17, and to defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless, Psalm 82:3-4. What is done in the dark sneaking to court and lying about what transpired will be brought to light, for there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, Luke 8:17, and be sure your sin will find you out, Numbers 32:23. We rebuke this spirit of pride, selfishness and deceit, for pride goes before destruction, Proverbs 16:18, and we pray that the one causing this harm will be brought to repentance rather than continue in hardness of heart.

We also notice your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved, Romans 10:9. It is in His name we pray and find hope for justice and healing.

We lift our prayer together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and ask for Your protection, justice and mercy over this family. Lord, You are our light and our salvation, whom shall we fear, Psalm 27:1, and we ask You to be a refuge and fortress for this mother and her family, Psalm 91:2. We ask You to heal her body from oral cancer, for You have said, I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, Jeremiah 30:17. Comfort her heart, for You heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. We ask You to guard this family mentally and emotionally and give them Your peace which surpasses all understanding, Philippians 4:7.

Lord, we ask You to expose every lie and fraudulent act. Let the courts, the case managers and every government authority see the truth clearly. Give them wisdom and discernment, for if any lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally, James 1:5. We pray that every false claim about the safety of the home, the LVP flooring, the need for guardianship, and the changing of addresses would be uncovered and judged righteously, for You love justice, Isaiah 30:18. We pray that the home that has been occupied without permission would be restored to its rightful stewardship and that finances taken wrongly would be accounted for. We ask You to be faithful to guard this family from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and to not let vengeance consume their hearts, for vengeance belongs to You, You will repay, Romans 12:19, but help them to seek lawful and godly justice with integrity.

Father, we also pray for the family member who has caused this pain. We ask that You would convict her heart, bring her to repentance, and turn her from deceit and greed to truth and humility. Do not let her prosper in deception but lead her to confess and forsake her sin.

Grant this family wisdom to document carefully, to seek godly legal counsel and help from adult protective services and other proper authorities, and to set firm, loving boundaries while not returning evil for evil, Romans 12:21. Provide for their financial needs and restore what has been stolen, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk in truth while trusting God to be your vindicator. Keep careful records of every interaction, every court filing, every financial transaction and every medical report concerning your mother, and share them honestly with a trustworthy attorney and with adult protective services who are charged to protect elders from financial exploitation. Do not act in secret as has been done to you, but let all be done in the light. Guard your hearts against bitterness, for the Lord calls us to be angry and not sin, Ephesians 4:26, and to cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us, 1 Peter 5:7. He has seen every tear, every sleepless night, and every financial loss, and He will not forsake those who seek Him. Continue to pray for your mother’s healing, for the restoration of her home and dignity, and for the courts to act with fairness. We are standing with you, asking God to bring truth to light, to protect what remains, and to bring healing to your family in Jesus’ name.

If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone; trained people are ready to help right now.

We hear how heavy and confusing this has been for you and your family. To have a family member work behind your back through the courts, misrepresent your mom's home and health while she is on a walker and facing oral cancer, change her address and take control of finances, and bring the stress of a squatter who will not pay or provide paperwork, would leave anyone feeling hurt, on edge and worn down. It makes sense you feel overwhelmed.

When there has been ongoing harm and control, it is common to feel powerless even while you are taking brave steps to protect your loved ones. You are not alone in this, and you do not have to sort it all by yourself.

One steady next step that often helps with guardianship and housing concerns is to keep a simple dated record of what has happened, what was said, and copies of any court notices, address changes or messages, and to share that record with one trusted advocate who understands these systems. That could be your mom's case manager, adult protective services, or a local legal aid clinic who can advise on guardianship and tenant issues. If you are worried about safety at home, try not to confront alone and bring a safe family member, pastor or advocate with you.

Father, in Jesus' name we bring this family before You. We ask for safety and peace in their home, for wisdom for each decision ahead, for honest help for their mom and her health, and for clarity and protection through the legal and financial confusion. Provide steady, trustworthy support around them and bring healing in the days ahead. Amen.

The Lord has heard the burden you have poured out, and He is not blind to what is done in secret. What is whispered behind closed doors and what is carried into courts without truthful witness is all open before Him who judges righteously. He sees the oppression of the weak, the misuse of power for gain, the taking of what belongs to another, and the sorrows laid upon a mother in her frailty and sickness, and His heart is moved with both justice and mercy.

There is comfort in knowing that afflictions may come distinctly from the hand of man, through malice and deceit, and yet they remain under the Lord's sovereign eye. He permits trials for a season, but He does not abandon His own. The justice which once stood as an accuser against the sinner has been satisfied at the cross, where the Lord Jesus bore the full weight of wrath for all who trust in Him alone for salvation. Because of that great sacrifice, justice now pleads for the pardoned, and mercy rejoices to forgive. Yet the same God who pardons the repentant will not call evil good, nor will He let falsehood stand forever. Every refuge of lies shall be swept away, and truth shall be made manifest in His time.

You are right to seek protection for your family and for your mother in her need. The way of safety is found in close walking with God and in obedience to His appointed ways. Keep to the paths of truth, honesty and upright dealing, for there the promise of His keeping is sure. He gives His angels charge over those who walk in His way, and though the lowest employment or the humblest home may be despised by men, it is consistent with the highest enjoyment of His presence when Christ is there. Take comfort that if God be for you, who can be against you.

In these heavy matters, seek wisdom as well as prayer. Let all things be done openly and truthfully before lawful authorities. Keep careful record of what has been done, seek godly counsel and the help of faithful advocates who fear the Lord, whether pastors, trusted family friends, or those appointed to give legal aid, that the vulnerable may be defended and the truth clearly shown to those who must judge. Pray for those in authority, that God would give them discernment to see through deceit and to act for the good of your mother. Guard your own hearts from bitterness, and leave vengeance in the hands of Him to whom it belongs, while you do what is right and lawful for protection. And pray also for the one who has done this wrong, that the Spirit would bring conviction, that sin would be forsaken, and that there would be repentance and newness of life through faith in Christ, for without His grace none can be saved.

Let us pray together.

O Lord, our righteous Judge and merciful Father, Thou seest all that has been done in darkness and Thou knowest the hurt borne by this family in body, in estate and in spirit. We bring before Thee a mother in weakness, afflicted in her body and removed from her home, and we ask Thy healing hand upon her and Thy comfort in her distress. Set a hedge of protection about this household and keep them from further harm. Let truth be uncovered and let every false word be brought to light before those who bear responsibility to judge. Give wisdom to caseworkers, judges and all who have authority, that they may discern what is right and defend the cause of the weak. Provide for what has been taken and make provision for daily needs. Turn, we beseech Thee, the heart of the one who has dealt unjustly, that there may be sorrow for sin and a turning to the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone is forgiveness and salvation. Keep this family in Thy appointed ways, under the shadow of Thy wings, and let them know the peace which comes from trusting Thy Son, whose blood alone is our hope and whose Spirit alone is our life. Grant patience under trial, firmness in truth, and a quiet confidence that Thou wilt in Thine own time pull down what is exalted in pride and lift up those who trust in Thee. Hear us for Christ's sake. Amen.
