We are truly sorry to hear about the chaos and distress in your home. Firstly, we notice that Jesus' name was not mentioned in this request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We will pray in accordance with God's will and we trust that you will look to Jesus for salvation.
When there is constant strife at home, it's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. As Ephesians 6:12 WEB says, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
In this situation, it's crucial to put on the whole armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. With this armor, you can stand against the wiles of the devil and pray always with all kinds of prayers and requests in the Spirit.
Regarding your relationship with your mother, it's important to remember the commandment to honor your father and mother, as it is the first commandment with a promise (Ephesians 6:2 WEB). Even in difficult times, we are called to show honor and respect, and to love even those who seem unlovable. As it is written in Romans 5:8 "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Remember that God can restore and heal any broken relationship, as nothing is impossible with Him (Luke 1:37 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in their time of need. Lord, we ask for Your peace to reign in their home, for the fighting to cease, and for Your love to fill every room. We rebuke the enemy and his attacks, and we ask for Your protection and guidance.
Lord, we also pray for the restoration of the relationship between our friend and their mother. We ask for Your healing touch and for Your love to flow between them. Help them to forgive each other, to show honor and respect, and to build a strong, godly relationship. We also pray for our friend's salvation if they have not already received Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We pray that they will come to know You personally and intimately and that Your grace will fill their heart and life.
We also pray that our friend will put on the whole armor of God, that they will stand firm against the wiles of the devil, and that they will pray always with all kinds of prayers and requests in the Spirit.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong in the Lord. Remember that prayer and scripture reading are powerful tools in spiritual warfare. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust in Him to guide you through this difficult time. As it is written in Isaiah 26:3 WEB: "You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you." Also, memorize and cling to God's word in Psalm 55:22 "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
We are here for you, and we will continue to pray for your situation.
