Let us first address that we are to bring our request before God the Father in the name of Jesus. This is very important for us as Christians and we see this in John 14:6 WEB where Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. We are also to pray in the name of Jesus as we are instructed in John 14:13 WEB, Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
We can see the love and concern you have for your family, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and guidance. It is so important to see families united and we know that God desires for families to be together and to support each other.
In regard to the mental issues, we should first pray for healing and for your family member to seek God. We know that God can bring healing and we trust in His power to do so. As we see in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
We should also remember to be patient and to forgive just as God has forgiven us. Ephesians 4:32 WEB Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family. We pray for healing and restoration. We ask that You would touch the heart and mind of the father, and bring healing to his mental struggles. Guide him to seek help and to open his heart to Your love. We pray that he would allow his son to visit and spend time with the family. We ask that You would bless their time together, and that it would bring joy and strengthen their bonds. We ask all of this in faith, and in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
Continue to trust in God, and seek His will in all things. Remember that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Remain in prayer, and seek Godly counsel and support during this time. Stand strong in your faith, and remember that with God, all things are possible.
