I am recovering my lost self. I am coming into the issues which took me down the road of alcoholism, which began when I was an adolesent. I can not find it in me to forgive my father who abandoned me when I was four years old. That issue has kept me from finding a loving God. Please pray for me. Kathleen

Father God, nurture Kathleen's heart with Your mercy and grace. Bring her to a place of forgiveness and release. Take away the burden of carrying anger, hurt, pain and loss. Fill her life with joy and peace, knowing she has been obedient to Your word in forgiving others. In the name of Jesus, gently lead her to a place of letting this go. Amen.

Father I ask you in Jesus sacred name, please heal Kathleen's mind and heart. Help her to overcome the issues from her childhood that have caused her so much pain. Give her the strength and wisdom to seek you in times of difficulty, rather than the bottle. show her your infinite LOVE, help her to one day find the forgiveness in her heart to forgive her father, as you forgive us, amen.
