If you are seeking a spouse, we encourage you to seek a godly believer who loves the Lord and is committed to His Word. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Courtship should be pursued with the intention of marriage, and both parties should be walking in purity, for *"flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB).
